    • Yes, I had the same problem with my current story I'm writing.  Even though you could consider it a slow burn, since it took me 36K words to get to where the MC was in diapers. I had a version that was a lot slower of a built up. In the other version, the physical regression would of taken a year and the MC would have had to first start dealing with bedwetting then he would have started having daytime accidents at one point as he slowly loses his independence.  The doctors would have to race against time to figure out what is causing it and how to stop it.  They do eventually come up with a gene therapy treatment but it has the unintended side effect of changing his sex to female. If you read my story so far, then you know that I chose to have it happen much faster and that both the MC and reader were shocked when he woke up from the coma in a female toddler body and having to deal with it all of a sudden but it would stop on it's own.  It came down to do I want to have the underlying tension in the story as time seems to run out or do I want to have the twist in the story to where the MC was thrown into a seemly new body. In the end, since it was my first story, I decided on the "quicker" method since I didn't want the readers to lose interest.
    • Samantha was awakened by a noise emanating from the kitchen. She promptly rose from her bed and descended the stairs to investigate the source of the disturbance. Upon entering the kitchen and switching on the light, she greeted the little girl affectionately, saying, "Hello there, bunny girl! How can I assist you?"
    • I'm assuming you mean meander? 😅 Damn autocorrect, amiright? 🤣 This world has the same brands that we do? Is this like a post-apocalyptic society where all the humans died out or were mutated into human-animal hybrids? Do they still use animals as the cereal mascots? 🤔🤔🤔 I'm over thinking it again, aren't I? 😅 Oooooo backstory alert! The plot thickens! 👀 I definitely look forward to hearing about Chelsey's apparently-troubled family life in a later chapter.
