  1. I also put my diaper on standing against the bedroom wall.
  2. When i first started to buy my own diapers these were the ones i got. Someone mentioned the thrill of bringing a big box of adult diapers to the register. I have to admit that it was exciting but also super embarrassing. My heart would beat fast and my face must have been red as a beet especially if there were people around. I was sure every one knew i was a bedwetter. In fact they probably thought it was for an elderly relative. I think I got addicted to the adrenalin rush. Those were the days. I also loved the scent, wish diapers today had tthat.
  3. I remember seeing ads in the local newspaper for "Camp NOW" which i think was either on Cape Cod or Plymouth MA. It was probably around the late 70's or early 80's. The ad said it was an overnight camp specifically for bed-wetters. I was too old for camp by a long shot but it sure did catch my eye. Anyone ever hear of it?
  4. I used Pro-Pants a lot in my late teens and early 20's' Loved them. Thought they looked very babyish at the time. I would buy some Curity diapers and pin those on under the Pro-Pant. I wish they still had them. They'd be a great day time option I would think. Thanks for that pic.
  5. When I was around 14 my mom decided I shouldn't be wearing diapers to bed anymore. This lasted until I could go out and get my own. One day when I was laying in bed still not asleep I hear her coming up the stairs. I didn't want to have to deal with her asking if I peed before bed and making a big deal of things so I pretended I was asleep. She came into my room, stuck her hand under the covers and under me to see if I was wet or not. I was really offended by this invasion of privacy and when she left, I peed the bed on purpose just out of spite. I didn't matter anyway the bed was going to get wet one way or another.
  6. I get them by the case. Usually I keep the whole case in the basement where no one ever goes and bring up a bunch and put them in a large zippered gym bag that I keep in my closet. More recently I've been taking up 3-4 at a time and putting them in my undie drawer. Not sure why I changed the procedure except that variety is the spice of life.
  7. One of my first jobs, at age 18, was working in a bookstore. I had to put the books on the shelves as the arrived so I got to see every new parenting book that came in. I would check out the parts about potty training and bed-wetting. There was one book in particular that had several pages on bed-wetting which was kind of unusual. Typically it was a page or two at the most. Anyway, I remember that this one book recommended pinning a diaper "both front and back to the waistband" of a child's underwear. "Add rubber pants, they come in sizes big enough for adults." WOW! I actually got dizzy reading it. Here was a book suggesting using diapers and rubber/plastic pants on older children. I wasn't the only one! Of course there was no internet at the time or abdl community so as far as liking diapers or spanking or enemas or anything childish or babyish I was still (in my mind) the only one in the universe. It was quite shameful and lonely. But I digress, I always read everything in those child care books. I even remember reading them as young as 1-12. Thanks for bringing up the memory.
  8. I can wet in pretty much any position at this point, even walking. If i poop, which isn't often I will be standing.
  9. I was walking back to my resort at Disney World last year and had a fart i should not have trusted. Wife was very amused.
  10. So, I was just watching the morning news and there was a story about a NH mom who had a vanity plate for years it read PB4UGO. It was taken away from her because it has been deemed "offensive." Come on NH use your heads. Its not offensive. its funny and any parent would get it and chuckle. Anyone agree?
  11. I hope you did something nice for her too.
  12. I wonder if this is true of Better Dry as well.
  13. Thank you to all the fallen soldiers who sacrificed so much for what we now enjoy
  14. wow didn't see that one coming
  15. i use that med for high blood pressure too. My doc said to take it in morning or i'd be up all night peeing. He didn't know i wet the bed anyway. But i do take in the morning and it does increase how often i pee.
  16. You really are a great writer.
  17. Well, you've done it again. Great chapter and we were left longing for more.
  18. welcome to daily diapers!
  19. I saw that episode too. Pretty good I thought. Thanks for reminding me
  20. I also grew up in late 50's also. It was cloth diapers for me with plastic or rubber pants (not sure). Although I prefer disposables now, I still love that puffy look that cloth diapers give you under clothes or with just a t shirt. Classic!
  21. Welcome to DD. Hope you meet lots of friends and have fun here.
  22. Rusty, so sorry to hear about your dad. God bless him and you.
  23. I have to agree with Glennie on this. It's not something you want to risk your family finding out about.
