GNXL1
Living in the US, I naturally like the term diapers better. 1 Link to comment
rosalie.bent
The word 'nappies' certainly resonates better with me and those of english or australian descent. Link to comment

rusty pins
I once read that the term "Nappie" came from Napkin, I believe because of how they are folded, etc. 2 Link to comment
kimchikid
my wife calls them diapers so its diapers to me Link to comment
Spiderman
I never used the word nappies until I got involved in the ABDL so it would be diapers for me. Link to comment
Pampertimmy
Being from Canada, I call them diapers but I like when people with English accents say nappy. It sounds cute. Link to comment
billybobtombo
Being British, they're nappies to me. Just sounds more babyish, probably as I'd never really used the word diaper until I got into the AB scene. Link to comment
Kaliborio
I associate "nappies" with actual childhood. I was in "nappies" until ... well, the time when I got out of them. It makes me uncomfortable to call AB/DL things "nappies", because it feels somehow like involving kids in the kink. I've been calling them diapers since I found out that AB/DL was a thing, so what I wear now are "diapers" to me, even though I'm in a "nappies" country. 1 Link to comment
nappylover78
Much prefer "nappies" as that's what I grew up with... "diapers" is OK but doesn't trigger the same emotional response. But "diapees", "dips" etc... yuk, please no! 1 Link to comment
AbabeBill
Mostly, since I'm from the US, I call them diapers. However, I do have terry cloth squares I like from the U.K., and they are nappies. I do like the sound Link to comment
Apache Raccoon
Nappies the word I grew up with and carries certain emotional triggers with it, but I tend to use diaper more often these days because I Link to comment
