  1. Yes, she did complain about 10 years ago about them (pull ups) being expensive. That when she was buying for me. She has not said anything since then. I still try to be economical, but she mostly does not see the credit card statement anymore and yet, most are from Amazon, so that shields it. She's too busy with work or sleep or the few hours before sleep watching NFX. We don't seem to argue, but I do take her to the mall. We meet back up in 45 minutes. Her budget is no spending limit, but she doesn't go for the super expensive stuff anyways--it's mostly makeup and anti-aging skin care. Though I say once in a while, give me your credit card as a joke. Her salary is 74% of mine... I do most of the cleaning: vacuuming, mop kitchen floor, bathtub and dishes. We both do the cooking. She does the toilet, sink and shopping (hence the do you need any Depends--which is now do you need anything?) For vacations, we can choose ourselves every other year. Though we seem to choose the same place every year. I picked HAwaii one time, which she would never pick. The frustrating part is she doesn't say much about it. Which maybe is a good thing.
  2. Find a different bank and keep just enough in it.
  3. We got that "covered" already. https://www.genesishcp.com/blogs/genesis-healthcare/surprising-ways-people-use-adult-diapers
  4. Anyone try Delta-Form diapers? I got some pull ups, not overly impressed.
  5. Does pouring a glass of warm water in yours count?
  6. Well, drinking too much causes higher eye pressure, not good if you have glaucoma like me.
  7. Well, I lied and said I need them at night. One time I had them on during the day and she questioned why. I never responded. But while touring Europe one time, I often said I have to get to a bathroom. I ended up buying local undergarments to tie me over and give me better security in my mind (I take my 2 weeks of my own Amazon incon underwear now). I will often need to use the restroom out and about (and she knows I am going). She used to buy for me at drugstores or grocery, but I just buy myself now. She still asks what do I need as she is the grocery shopper. Now with being pre-diabetic, I notice I need to go more often. Wonder how I could work that into the conversation.
  8. Samples: TotalDry underwear, nah, don't like them. Came from the left coast to the right coast, took forever. ParentGiving underwear, ya ok. Black Noir are nice. Nateen underwear, I liked them, they hold 5+ hours. 4250 ml. Kind of pricey, but they last a long time. Sort of bulky. Newclears, I liked them, but the are kind of large and bunch up in the seat. Maybe the medium would be ok. I don't really like all the extra stripes and printing. Maybe try smaller size. Aiminsin, I liked them, but were too small, but I got large, not sure why they ran soo small in L. Attends complete regular: ok, but I have to cut holes and use my belts from my undergarments to hold them up.
  9. Hi,

BitDefender (anti-virus) is flagging your urls https://other.sandralyn.net. I was wondering if you could update them?

The error is NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID  The SSL certificate does not have the same  domain name as the url.

I guess you could just change to http:// instead.

  10. Some women have wide or large hips for baby making, so their pants are tighter..
  11. That reminds me of during Sandy when we had huge gas lines. I tried siphoning gas out of a Corolla and a Cadillac for the generator. I just could not get the line past a certain point: there seemed to be quite a few wiggles in the line. Seems like they have anti siphoning design nowadays. I was using a 1200 watt generator every couple couples to keep the refrigerator cold (1200 w seemed barely enough as when the fridge would call for power, I could hear the generator get quite a bit louder trying to provide the load requested)... After that experience we got a whole house 13kw generator and remote controlled gas fireplace (20,000 btu). We always seemed to have power issues, but since Sandy it's been a lot better.
  12. Says that there are 29 replies, but when I go there I don't see them. I guess you have to be logged in to see them?
  13. Slept in one years ago, it felt like I was in a boat rocking and rolling all night. Which you would think I would like, but not really comfortable. Maybe it didn't have enough water in it.
  14. My problem is...we go to sleep early, like 8:30 (eat at 4:45 pm). So, I am up at 11:30 for the bathroom and also cannot get back to sleep. So, I often come down to sit in my recliner and watch some scenic video that I watch every night and nearly fall asleep after 15 min. I actually go and empty again as I find the bed and recliner really do weird things to my bladder and cannot fully empty on first wakeup, such that going maybe is somewhat harder. I just recently started getting up at 11:30. Ya, I'm pre-diabetic. Which is weird because I started reducing carbs and self monitoring...Granted the last two nights were spicey foods. I have re-begun the treadmill after dinner for 20 minutes too. I started trying to wear at night for a couple hours (or whatever I can tolerate) without wetting. For now I am wearing a day time Amazon pull up, which is super thin between the legs (I cannot stand the bulk as I am a side sleeper). Because of this, I have been a daytime zombie for the last 20 years. Averaging 4 to 5 hours a sleep on weeknights. At least on weekends I can catch up some. I think I have super strong anxiety or something like that causing issues. I told my doctor about not getting back to sleep and he prescribed zalaplan, some generic of Sonata. It kind of makes me feel worse on weekdays, but somewhat ok for weekends.
  15. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/01/amazons-long-journey-to-get-rid-of-its-signature-brown-boxes.html I received a single pack in their plastic bags and the cases in boxes. Now you STILL know what your neighbors are getting.
  16. Happy birthday! Thank you for all that you do!
  17. Our office outer walls are all windows. My desk is by the NW facing windows, so I won't miss it. It just gets dark early. I was there in 2017. Usually around that time I am walking down to the bathrooms such that I see it from all angles inside.
  18. Wow! I once was driving behind a garbage truck and suddenly the inside of it had flames coming out. They didn't pick up yesterday...ugh next week will be extra heavy.
  19. Are Abena still stiff and thick BC (Before COVID)?
  20. My problem is that I have a Sleep Number bed that cost $10,000. The base, which has a remote to move the feet and head up and and down cost $4,000. The mattress was $6,000: I can make the mattress as firm or as soft as I want (it's essentially an air mattress inside the mattress). If I wet, there may be sparks flying and I really don't want to ruin it. I did buy a mattress protector, but the way the plastic threads are weaved (probably done so it breathes), the threads are not perfectly tight, so water will eventually work it's way through. I did buy a 34x36 pad, but it's kind of small and it might leak too. I have not tried it. My second problem is I do not like the bulk between the legs as I am a side sleeper. Are there any super thin ones that are very soft?
  21. Attends has some that are blue.
  22. I wore plain white over my cloth diapers. Around 3rd grade, I found some frilly snap ones in my closet that I could fit into. Those were fab.
  23. Some of them look pretty well worn and off white color. Her bio "Meet the tester" at the bottom says her father was a disabled Army veteran. Also, one of the summaries mention heavy flow.
  24. Now I know why I pee a bit more often. Last week my blood test revealed A1c of 5.8. I kind of knew it was high as my wife cooks starchy foods all the time. I have always had great control, but it's kind of annoying as the sensation is almost always there. Especially at night, when I wake up I have issues starting and then fully emptying. I guess the bladder relaxes and is able to get bigger when laying down. So, I got back to bed with a half empty bladder and then wake up again several hours later to try some more. I do have a BM in the morning, so I think that is putting pressure on it (?). I just cannot wear at night because of the bulk between the legs. I did find some super thin pull up and Attends which are somewhat bearable. Maybe I could get a booster and wrap it around. The only time I go out is work and lunch on either Saturday or Sunday. For the weekends, sometimes I have pull up on, recently I have not. I regretted it last weekend as the mall bathroom was closed and I had to walk to the middle (which about 200 meters from the bathrooms) and tell my wife and then walk to the other end of the mall to a department store. I got there and tried to go, though as I had been holding it a long time I found it hard to go. I actually had a pull up on, but rarely use it outside home. In this case I should of. I think walking, not necessarily briskly, might have made me not go as well as I could of (and the sensation of the pull up). Of course, I've been out walking and almost wet my pants. We know it's not natural to wet our pants, but I guess it's a stigmatism we have to get over. But the sensation to go is almost always there and the pull ups help calm those fears. Ugh.
