  1. Billiard balls don't float. If it could flush 7 tennis balls, I'd be impressed.
  2. We have an asparagus farm a few miles from our house. From mid April to late June, we have it at least three times a week. I love asparagus, but am embarassed by how my diapers smell in the evening during that season. My wife says she can't really smell it, but I certainly can.
  3. I mostly wear white diapers (BetterDry and Tena), but like to break out the Crinklz on the weekends. If I'm having a few beers, my drinking diapers are usually some sort of print or color, like Little Kings or Megamax black / blue.
  4. It looks alot like a Superio Wellness Brief, but i don't remember them coming in plain white.
  5. Tena ProSkin wipes are great, plus they are plastic free (at least the European version is). I like the Assurance brand adult wipes too.
  6. I have been going an osteopath once a week for about 9 years. I have always worn a diaper to my treatments and it's never been an issue. I told her at my first appointment that I had bladder control problems and needed to wear protection. As time went on, my pull-ups became tape on diapers, leading to quite a few discussions about incontinence. She told me early on that I was not her only incontinent patient and reassured me that she had seen it all. I have had quite a few massages in a diaper too. That's a little more intimidating for me, as I usually get a massage while on holiday and never see the same therapist twice. When filling out the pre-treatment paperwork, I put that I am bladder incontinent and tell the therapist that I am wearing protection. I have learned to say that in a couple of languages to make it easier. I had a funny moment once in Greece where the young therapist spoke English, but didn't understand "incontinence" I wrote it in Greek, but she also didn't quite know what it meant, so I said very quietly "I have to wear a diaper". She understood after that.
  7. I wear terry cloth overpants and a waterproof cover (no PJs unless its really cold). I recently started wearing Northshore Trifecta pants and they are fantastic!
  8. I went to see KISS on Monday. I saw a large number of fans using canes and walkers. I was pretty confident that I wasn't the only one wearing a diaper. At 53, I was probably right around the average age of those in attendance.
  9. I figured I had worn more diapers as an adult than as a child. I’ve been a bedwetter for about 12 years and 24/7 about six years. That’s a lot of diapers.
  10. My first adult diaper was Surety's in February 1989. That was the only time I tried that brand - by the time I was in a position to enjoy diapers regularly, they were off the market.
  11. It's been bad for almost two years now. I subscribe to the "back in stock" alert with NRU, but it doesn't always work. They will often sell out the same day they restock. I end up checking a few times a week and will order one or two with my regular monthly nappy order. I go through one of the drylife pants about every 4-6 months and had to build up a reserve to get me through the lean times.
  12. I always change in enough time before heading in to the doctor/dentist/therapist so that I am as dry as possible. My diaper bag stays in the car for most appointmets, unless I think there will be a need to change. I also wore one to my colonoscopy. I wore a velcro taped ID slip and they had me untape it and fold it down at the back. That worked out pretty well.
  13. I almost forgot - I also have an opened box of premature infant Pampers from 1978. There are 27 of the 30 diapers still there, but I don't know if they are the originals or not. The tapes have a printed Pampers logo on them, which I did not think was around in the 70's Maybe one of our vintage diaper experts knows?
  14. We watched it tonight. So far, very good. I really like the cinematic look.
  15. I have two bags of Snuggies Waddler Overnight - before they became Tykables and still had non-velcro tapes. A bag of Abena M4, before they were discontinued. A bag of Tena Slip Maxi with the narrow tapes (2012) Finally, two single Fabine Christmas diapers.
  16. I cut the waistbands off, cut them in half through the crotch and use them as shop rags.
  17. I bought a case of Fabine Christmas diapers about 12 years ago. I wear one or two every Christmas season, but I'm down to the last three. If Thrust Vector would creat a Christmas diaper, that would be perfect for me.
  18. I was stationed at McGuire AFB in the mid 90's. There was a place called Garden State Diner in Wrightstown that had the best breakfast I have ever had - it quickly became our regular Sunday treat. My wife and I still reminisce about that food. I just looked it up and see that it is gone now...? We ate at many diners during our time there - NJ is definitely the diner capital of the world.
  19. I have been 24/7 for over five years now and have had many conversations with neighbors while gardening in front of my house with a nappy on under my shorts. People either don't notice or are too polite to mention it. As far as the bin collectors go, I often think they give the new person on the truck my bin just to see them struggle with it.
  20. I have considered getting the nappy bin, as my regular waste bin gets full and very heavy after two weeks. I don't want my neighbors to know I wear nappies, but some of them probably know already. I have never had an issue with the collectors, but often wonder what they must think. I'm sure they have seen it all and don't really care.
  21. I have my diaper bag (backpack) near me at all times. It stays in my locker at work and in my car when I am out & about.
  22. My wife was good about it. She had seen it coming for a long time. I started out as just AB/DL, then a back injury and car accident led to real bladder control problems. I went from occasional accidents to bedwetting to 24/7 over the course of seven years. Now it's just part of me. My family is also aware and it's no big deal for them. I told my mother first. I had been sleeping in diapers for about three years and she came to visit for a few weeks. Since she is a nurse and specializes in dimentia patients, she was already used to adults in diapers. A year later, one of my sisters died. I went home and stayed with another sister and needed to tell her that I wore diapers to bed and "just in case" protection during the day. About a year later, I was wearing proper diapers 24/7. The next time I went home, I told my remaining sister. Now it's not even an issue. Since I only go home once a year and am very discreet, everyone except my mother usually forgets. I always have a laugh with my oldest sister if we have a few beers together - she will frequently get up to go to the bathroom and ask me if I need to go. I respond that I'm good and that I have my drinking diaper on (Tykables Cammies).
  23. I've never understood why some stores do that. I also have a disabled parking permit and one of the grocery stores I go to does it exactly as you describe. If I'm tired, I leave my cart in front of the disabled parking area. Kind of a dick move, but also to prove a point.
