I am back!! My 24/7 Journey

Recommended Posts

I have given up 2 times and this time I really want to log everything and see people check out my journey with me even if you are stopping by! Anyways these diaper thoughts consume my mind and I am tired of it. Wearing them long term may make me not interested in diapers but like some of you who are dependent on diapers, if I want this then I need to not stop wearing even if I lose interest and I know it's not going to be easy, seeing everyones diaper journeys makes me happy and makes me never give up. Like for example @Beccathelittle, @Hannah YMS and @Enthusi who are good examples for anyone and even me. Going to update all of you soon and I plan on doing it more often.

Best thing I ever did was going 24/7. All most 12 years in nappies and couldn't be happier.

First, welcome back. Do keep us updated on ur journey as it can be quite lonely at times.

Second… I’m  confused why you are trying to come up with ways to help force yourself to continue wearing diapers if it becomes too inconvenient or the novelty wears off.    It seems like an oppressive burden to be placing on yourself.

Wearing diapers full time is a hell of a lot of work.  Think about it: you’re  swapping out a free, highly effective and socially acceptable method of managing ur waste, with an expensive taboo inefficient option.   It’s okay if u need a break or it gets stale.  You can always come back later and try again.

It seems to have gotten better. I like wearing them and stocked up alot since then. I am not forcing it on myself anymore, it's become a need for me cause of my anxiety.

@Diaper Duck

you should always remember that unless you have to wear diapers 24/7 for need, that it is OK not to wear diapers all the time. There are times that people want to take a break or stop wearing for a while, and that is also OK. If you’re wearing diapers because you were dealing with anxiety or something that makes you feel uncomfortable and you feel you need to wear, by all means, wear diapers.

At no time should you force yourself to wear diapers. the whole idea is that you want to wear diapers for whatever reason, and for some reason, if you don’t feel that you want to wear diapers, forcing yourself to do it is counterintuitive. If you like diapers, and doing stuff like this would probably not help wipe them anymore. It’s up to you whether you wear diapers, how long you wear diapers, where are you wearing diapers and all of that stuff. This is nothing to do with your mom as I’ve said in the past and we have a greed on that part, I am also told you that it is a good idea to keep that secret because your mom found out last time and that would not be a good idea. I hope you’re able to deal with that and that you were able to do it.

For someone like me, who has to wear 24 seven, there is no break for me: the only “break” I might get is when I take a diaper off and I’m drying off, it’s hot outside and I’m in my air-conditioned house, or I’m taking a shower and I don’t where diapers inside the shower but unless I have to change the diaper because of the fact that he did easier to deal with what I ever reach inside the shower bay.

When I don’t have a diaper on, it’s rare, most times I do: when I don’t, I usually have an absorbent under pads underneath me and one around me so that if I have to release at least I have something that can handle the release. One of the things they tell you about wearing diapers is that you need to air out your body. This has two good things that happen:  one, you’re able to be fully in the nude so that if you have something going on if you stay new long enough, hopefully you will dry out your body so that you can then put a fresh diaper on. Two: it helps you to keep your body clean as there may be places where you need to dry off, and if you have any open sores, or you have something going on, if you want to die for too long, or whatever, the best thing is to just take the diaper off, and then let  your skin dry and heal.

this is why you’ll see young kids running around without a diaper on from time to time. If their lower region is always covered by a diaper, then the skin can get irritated just like an adult skin can get irritated and that is why it is important to use the proper topical every diaper change. If you run around without a diaper on as a kid, and it helps him to dry out, the same thing can be said of a young adult, or an adult, you still have a possibility of having some sort of rash or something going on because you’re dealing with , your entire Jaipur area which could be dealing with acidic products, and you need to make sure that your body is clean and clear so that you don’t have anymore problems like this.

you also don’t want to have a wet or messy diaper on for a long time because that will compound the problem making it necessary for you to not be wearing diapers for a while or for you to be totally treated from head to toe so that you don’t have to worry about what you were really saying. It’s very important to air out from time to time. I don’t do it very often, but when I do, I’d say probably about four or five or six hours sometimes. Depends on how your skin looks when you take your diaper off and then take a shower you don’t want to have your skin breakdown. I can guarantee you that would be one of the worst things that you deal with and your diaper rash would be quadrupled in intensity because your skin is your barrier between what you were wearing in your inner body where you can get infections in things. Your skin protects you from that it’s like having a coat on your entire body.

I wouldn’t worry about trying to force yourself to wear diapers when you don’t want to. Your diapers should help you help you deal with your problems. Forcing yourself to wear your diapers when you don’t want to would be something that would end up probably in a situation where you don’t want to wear anymore and it’s no fun. Remember that I said I can’t go without a diaper for too long because it’s not “fun” that I’m dealing with here. It is the fact that if I don’t wear a diaper I could make a mess like I did this week all over the floor in My shower bay, and then I’d have to clean that up and I have to clean up the floor and I have to clean up myself. I need my diaper is 24 seven because I don’t know when I would need to use them again, all I know is as @~ashley~ once told me, it’s not if you were going to use them, it’s when are you going to use them, and even then you don’t have any control over where you may use them, so you have to be prepared. When you don’t have any control at all, you have to play the game and play it because the body decides when it needs to release and you don’t. When you have a situation like this, you must be prepared to deal with that situation at anytime anyplace anywhere.

remember, if there’s any fun involved, you must remember that you want to keep the fun involved. Once it becomes not fun anymore, then you end up losing interest. But people like Ashley and myself, have to be prepared to do and deal with anything, and as I have learned from people like @Little Sherriis that you were going to use that diaper, and when you use the diaper you change it. As you age, you will find that you may have to use diapers longer, or you might have to increase the frequency that you wear, because of the fact that you become incontinent.  @Enthusi can also tell you that there are times when you may not have a choice to use, but you should always be prepared if you need to use your diaper be able to clean it up right and not be afraid to wear a diaper if you feel better to help you because it will help you in the end if that is the way you feel.

Thx Brian, I wear them cause I feel like I need them I don't why I said I would force it on myself. I guess I was just not thinking when I typed that, diapers have been helping me with mental issues and it also makes it easier for me cause I drink a little more water and hate having to go wee in the toilet. I feel like they are helping me and I don't want to be out of them unless I am with family, but overtime I may wear around them. It's not easy for me but I am making the best of wearing diapers cause like you said when I have no control I'll lose the intrest, but who knows I may or may not enjoy diapers by then.

Been a few weeks, hope everyone is doing alright. This is a upate on how things are. Not much progress when it comes to peeing and I noticed I have not been drinking alot of water lately, I am mostly a heavy water drinker but as of lately my water intake has went down due to it being a little cooler outside. Not alot of progress yet but I plan on working on learning to bedwet first and that is the main thing I struggle with. I have a few times (not sure) felt a flow of urine enter my diaper when I was sleeping but it also felt like a dream not too sure might need some tips on bedwetting if anyone has any tips I know alot of you have some good tips, One more thing I have to talk about is wearing around family, and that is a hard one for me. I always panic and take off my diaper before I leave to be with my family for a bit I don't have alot of things to wear to keep it discreet but my mom always notices and points it out, been told wearing blue jeans with a belt should hide it if anyone has any tips for that too I won't mind to read those! As always I'll keep you all updated and I am excited to see what happens.

Hope you all have a good day

@Diaper Duck, I think at this point it's better to realign your expectations. What we're proposing (untraining towards incontinence) is actually going to take years. Like, actual revolutions around the sun. Don't expect progress in just a couple of months. Only a few of us make actual progress in terms of months. It's best to think of this journey in terms of years. Statistically speaking, you'll be in the same boat as many of us. A small percentage get "lucky" in that we progress faster than we think, but most of us progress slower than we expect. Keep that in mind and don't lose hope and I think you'll be good to go.

No offense, but I see you starting and stopping more than a few times per year. If you want to make actual progress, it's now time to commit. Stopping for any reason will set you back, and I hate to see people fail at this process because I know how maddening not being incontinent actually is.

Don't ever give yourself the excuse to go back to underwear and you'll make progress, as slow as it actually is. Good luck to you man. Keep at it, and you'll progress. Stop the journey and you'll end up back where you were. Stay the course. Much love to you and good luck.

@Diaper Duck you mentioned that your mom points out when you wear a diaper with your jeans. Does your mom know? If she does know, how did she find out and what has she said about diapers to you?

@Diaper Duck How is your 24/7 coming along?

I maybe able to help you with this issue with the mind playing tricks on you and your Anxity about wearing full time.  Though to do so I would need more information.

It has been hard. I love wearing but it makes it hard with my mom being my payee, And this month I really have to save money before I can even get diapers. But I do want to be 24/7 again.

This is good advice but it didn't work for me.  When I made an attempt to go 24/7 I eventually got to the point where I didn't even really notice I was wearing a diaper.  I was wearing thin diapers to work that needed to be changed every 3-4 hours.  I caught myself going to the restroom to pee because I had forgot I was wearing a diaper.  I realized that I had no interest or need to be diapered.  It didn't make sense to just wear them as underwear.

Good Afternoon @Diaper Duck well as I write this it is afternoon for me.  Right now I am not able to respond to my own message about how to help you with this as my headspace is well not right at this time.  As I got a banging headache that I woke up to.  But I will help you out.  Please just give me some time to think correctly.

Good Afternoon @Sarah_Hillcrest I will also try to help you as well if it is ok to do so.

See I have to wear diapers when I leave the house as my #2 well it is not in the right place at this time and well I could have an accident, which I do not want.

And I only 5 good diapers left which blows.  And no money to reorder me a case.  But I am working on something to help me get the money.

You are wise to be sceptical. This is a back and forth thing with the OP and never seems to go anywhere. We've seen multiple stoppages just in the time of this thread.

Agreed. I wish duck well. But as a member of the 24/7 club for a year and a half, I can say that progress occurs when there’s consistency. At least for me, that is. In this time, I have never held it and taken steps at night, and have become a fairly regular (4-5 nights a week) bedwetter. I have also discarded my underwear, thanks to help from a friend, so it’s either something padded or go commando. I also feel diaper dependent, mentally if not physically. I don’t think I would have an accident if not diapered in some way, but I couldn’t mentally deal with the stress of no security. Plus, it would feel completely unnatural at this point. Diapers are simply my normal attire. I still have far to go to reach where I feel I should be to feel like my true self, but it was the consistency that did it.

I have the same feeling, it's been hidden in me for months now. but it keeps awakening each time I put on a diaper for fun and it get's tiring cause I don't see a point in wearing for fun when I could wear for protection, I do love wetting my diaper but it's not fun to wear wet and then toss. I want to change and keep doing it, but I am afaird it will affect my relationship with my family.

But I will get back to you on this.

From a realistic standpoint. You will never achieve 24/7. No matter who on this site eggs you on. You don't have the money and you are too scared. Just stick to pleasure wearing. You're too immature and unprepared for such a commitment. Stop forcing it.

How can you help me? I have not worn diapers for a while. And just today I decided to wear diapers. But it's not easy and I need to buy certain diapers to save me money. Abena L4 diapers is what I buy btw.

No offense, but I see you starting and stopping more than a few times per year. If you want to make actual progress, it's now time to commit. Stopping for any reason will set you back, and I hate to see people fail at this process because I know how maddening not being incontinent actually is.

Very well said @JunkyardDog1 Way too scared of family issues as well as having enough money to actually get stocked as needed

@Hannah YMS has figured this poster out as well. Being sceptical is an ongoing thing with the OP.

Here we are again dealing with this "I'm 24/7" and "I have not worn diapers for awhile". This just keeps going back and forth and it's just a cry for attention. There hasn't been any progress in several years. I tried to help a while back it was met with constant excuses and silence when it wasn't happening. I got tired of it.

Sorry you feel that way! I am trying to get all the help I can get too. Just never give up.
