  1. It is very possible the inflammation and it actually makes sense. From my use of medical stents, I can say once you get a taste of dribbling with no control, it's hard to accept anything less. Just the total loss of control or ability to stop it is pretty amazing and a goal of many. I can't even walk to the kitchen for a drink without a diaper or it will start to dribble on the floor in seconds. Keep up the great work and things will work out at some point soon.
  2. It's good that you can still get a cath past that point so you can pee as needed. I'm sure you will be quite happy once you get back to dribbling again with no resistance. I hope the best for you. It's always a risk but one that can be dealt with and then you are on your way with your permanent incontinence. I'll be excited for your results and then I may schedule as well.
  3. I'm certain it will get taken care of and you will enjoy your future as dribbling incontinence. This is just a bump in the road and will be taken care of soon. We all here are excited for your progress and some will be moving forward with you.
  4. Stricture is always a risk but not a given. It can be a bump in the road but can be dealt with and the long term outcome will be good. I encourage you to pursue your dream as you desire. I've achieved my nullification surgery and reroute and had no issues but knew stricture was a possible. Now considering incontinence surgery for myself, I'm willing to accept the risk for the desired outcome. The Mexican clinic has a very good reputation and there are others doing it now too. Having used a long term stent, I can tell you incontinence with constant dribbling and zero control is amazing.
  5. Gravity is a great thing, haha. I do experience some dripping when laying down but I also have a reroute so gravity still works when I'm laying down. I do feel a small gush sometimes if a small amount puddles in my bladder. Either way, I can't control it and it's amazing. It's amazing how fast it drips after drinking a bottle of water, lol.
  6. In the time you were without the cath, did you get any sense as to the results of the surgery?? Probably being without the cath would give you a feel for whether you have to think about releasing urine or if it's just free flowing. Could you feel yourself basically dribbling all the time, which would be just like with my stent now, or did you detect any retainage in your bladder that required a release?? It's hard for me to feel the dribbles most of the time because it's so slow but when I check my diaper, I can detect that it's much more full than that last check. If I drink a bottle of water, it seems as if it dribbles continuously every few seconds, a small amount releases with no effort or ability to hold it back.
  7. I too have had those "Oh my god, what have I done to myself?" moments when I've been stented long term and wearing but I keep coming back to wanting diapers and to go deeper. I've contacted the clinic in Mexico and have been giving the costs and procedures to go all the way. They actually have a very good reputation for some of the other 'elective procedures' they do there and I'd have no trouble going there. I've already had a unique major body mod and I couldn't be happier and actually makes wearing diapers so much more comfortable now. It's amazing how powerful the idea of incontinence really is. I'm still working through how giving up control actually puts you in control. My therapist is supportive of my decisions to move forward and relates it to actually taking control of your body and controlling how things function. It's very hard for others to understand when it's so far away from 'the norm' but that doesn't take away our needs for body modifications to make us feel right. So wearing or needing diapers doesn't make us any less of a person in society and doesn't really involve anyone else except ourselves. Personal decisions are just that, personal, and should be respected. As I'm getting ready for CAPcon in Chicago, I'm considering the stent again and making this the step towards that permanent change that I've been desiring for a long time. I do have a lot of support from others I know who are 24/7 and have become incontinent themselves for various reasons. I appreciate all my friends who support.
  8. I've been researching surgery but it seems like such a big step. There is something about the instant gratification and I truly do want to just dribble with zero control. Working on a medical stent to get there faster. Hope to have one back in very soon.
  9. Old post I know but I never thought it would be possible to wet while walking but the more I'm trained, the easier it's happening now. I've been able to wet a few times while driving now. I too worry about a sudden flow and flood so I'm working on a permanent stent to induce 24/7 dribbling with no way to stop it. The diaper fills so slowly and evenly when dribbling and there's no sensation of anything happening except then I'm laying on my back in bed and can feel the pee drip out. I think long term with the stent will yield total loss of control in less than a year perhaps. Interesting ride but I'm on it and strapped in now.
  10. I also have a difficult time getting into trance from a track. I have taken some tracks and looped only the 'suggestions' in my ears overnight for multiple nights. I believe it has made an impact with allowing my brain to weaken some control and allowed me to overcome some obstacles. Still a long way to go but made more progress than I expected.
  11. Great post. This has answered a lot of questions and reinforces that the brain has so much control over our 'control'. I've noticed the same things that my brain holds back progress towards IC.
  12. While not following the plan exactly, I can attest that the logic is valid. I've found that it's become easier to wet and I've started losing some control as I've been diapered 24/7 for awhile now, mostly around 9 months. I'm grateful for the advice and support from others here on the same journey.
