Hair or Nair

What's your position on pubic hair when diapered?

It doesn't bother me. I know going hairless might be a bit cleaner, but I wash and wipe frequently enough that it's not a worry.

Hair down there doesn't bother me when I pee in the diaper. But as someone who also poops in my diaper, I don't like having hair in the area where my poo comes. So I keep my hair on my diaper area down to 1-2 mm. This makes it easier to clean and avoid problems with odors after changing.

I used to shave below, but I get razor rash, etc. I just use a beard trimmer, and keep it short, it keeps the rash and smells under control . So it's been my solution for now.

I found that the hair tends to retain some of the urine odor or at least inhibits complete cleansing of the area.  So, I prefer to remove the hair.  My personal solution is to use Veet, sensitive skin formula, cream to remove the hair.

The time that I had to wear a diaper due to hemorroid (sp?), I was fully shaved down in my pubic area as well as all around my butt hole and the butt cheeks, It took some time to all grow back. So having to wear a diaper for about a week until the muscles and tendons got their strength back was not a problem for me.

I do not wear a diaper at this time. That was about 46 years ago. At the time I was 30 years of age. When I was a baby I stopped wearing diapers about 2½ years of age.

I shave down there regularly.  It discourages bacteria, which live on hair, so it's more hygienic.  And it's more babyish, which suits me better.

If I chose "hariless" and was VERY happy with it, would I be a Nair do well?

I keep myself shaved. It's easy to get soaped up in the shower and shave and I feel better without the hair. Smell reduction is just icing on the cake.

Similar to others, minimal hair down there, use a manscaper, haven’t gotten brave enough to have blades around the wedding tackle.  Mainly for odor and cleanup, but I’ve gotten to a point I like the clean smooth feel.

Will have to try Nair though.

I tried Nair some years back, but not in genital area.  It was effective for slower hair growth back.  I quit after 2 uses as i was feeling a "chemical" burn.  Maybe i left it on too long.  It too many water soaks for my skin to feel better.

If one wants to use nair, do it with a friend and keep to the time limits.

I have never tried waxing or similar products, electrolosis, or laser removal.

I if i want that clean shaved feeling, I use a razor.

One final thing, short or no genital hair is better for diaper use.

As a person that hates shaving, there's hair down there.

@ValentinesStuff:  So could we call you Harry?

Is that teddy bear in your profile picture an accurate description?  (are you as harry as it?)

Nope, my facial and body hair is fairly sparse and slow growing. Even the hair on my head isn't thick or fast growing.

I prefer hairless, but I'm to lazy to keep it smooth, so I occasionally remove everything with cream, but usually just trim it short.

I've tried shaving... but gave up on it.  I can't bring myself to go the "nuclear option".

Also, my first thought when I saw the "Nair" in the thread title...

Baby smooth for me. I shave and use home laser to keep my diaper area, tummy and under arms baby soft and smooth.

I would prefer to be hairless down there but often only trim and haven't quite considered other options. Maybe I'll look into it a bit more.

Recently went smooth.  First by trimming with a beard trimmer.  Might have been my inexperience, but nicked and cut myself the first few times and never really felt like the hair was short enough even though I was using the closest setting/comb.  Moved on to a razor soon after and love it!  Yes, I've had a couple of nicks. But nothing as severe as with the trimmer.

I feel cleaner, smell better, and generally more satisfied without pubic hair.

Considering depilatories as a next step, though my wife is of the opinion that they may burn me.  Any suggestions?  Nair? Veet? Other?

I never paid much attention to the hair down there, until I got an ingrown hair when I went for a 5-mile run in a pull-up, which resulted in an overnight stay in the hospital, a few years ago - it turned into an abscess. Now, I am very careful. I generally like to keep it trim - I'm not a purist, but I feel like I can clean up faster and more thoroughly. It's like cleaning a carpet versus cleaning tile.

Hiii!

I like to keep it shabed down there. I  feel littler when I'm changing and touch the twig and berries and there smooth. 😄

Shaved and smooth for me, I just use my electric razor and the pop up beard trimmer. Need to be very careful but I don't have any issues shaving, I coat everything with AD & D rash cream after so it takes the sting out if needed. Or just coat liberally with Vaseline when done (still can sting a little for an hour or so). Most lotions tend to burn after shaving as the areas are sensitive. Diaper rash cream tends to work best for me. No hair means less order, and besides it feels really good when using your diaper. Plus easier cleanup when done.

I trim mine with a double comb on my beard trimmer set to the shortest setting.

There is always a chance to be burned.

I have been burned, and it have been successful, with same cream.
I have no idea why.  Been burned after seconds, and other times I have kept it on longer than recommended.
