I currently have some time off again and thought I'd reread the story because it relaxes me so much, and I have some thoughts about it again: First of all—the gas tank for hot water and cooking? Why not electricity, like in many other countries? Is that another typical US thing? And if Amanda lives so remotely, would anyone even come and check if she extended her fence a little beyond the official boundaries? I'll say it again: at the latest when the adoption began, I would ask the director, the psychologist, and Amanda herself if I would also be a girl. And if so, that would be so much fun when shopping! Cute outfits, of course, but most of all I would want pink rompers – short- and long-sleeved, with sturdy booties, and maybe even little mittens (although that would probably be more for myself 😅). I would definitely try out the tablet to see what I can read – and whether it might be possible to get literature from my own dimension. All in the name of science, of course! And I find this thing with checks really strange. I've heard that it's still really common in the US. Don't you guys over there know the concept of bank transfers and card payments? -

Since we have a lot of older people like me and older, I assume when someone passes away the family will donate a lot and a few yrs ago I got $300 worth of Northshore for about $20, the receipt was still in one of the boxes, I was excited, and I still have a couple bags as I use them sparing.. -
