Keep your chin up man. While I can’t speak to know how your feelin on infantilism (it’s something that doesn’t pertain to me) I am positive of one thing. You’re not too old to start anything of interest towards yourself. I work in the medical field, specifically on Ambulances as a care provider for almost 7 years now, and I see many people who are in their 50s and even early 60s get their EMT license. I it’s somethig you want, you’re never too old to go for it. Hang in there.

I sometimes could say I have a legitimate reason to wear diapers as I have bowel issues that strike at random, but then again my bowel issues are so I frequent that it couldn’t quite be justified to say I “need” to wear 24/7.

I can remember being about 4 years old and wanting to wear diapers ( I was potty trained a month or two after I turned three). Being the 2nd of 2 Kid’s I didn’t have a chance to be around diapers in my own home once I was potty trained. My dad was airforce and we got stationed oversees in the pacific on a residential neighborhood that was for newer families. I was surrounded by people my age, older and younger, therefore when I would visit with a friend, there was more than likely a chance I would have access to diapers. I was never brave enough to take one home. But I can remember not hiding it from my friends till about age 8-9, and my friends thinking it was weird lol. Didn’t really have access to diapers again until I was 16 and employed. Having just bought my first car and having my own money I bought a paired plain old depends pull ups at the local grocery. I didnt realize that adult diapers weren’t next to the diapers for babies and kept scanning the iles of the store like a frantic madman. I must have looked guilty about something because I can remember feeling, cool and sweaty. An associate asked me in an authoratative voice what I was looking for? As if suspecting maybe I was shop lifting. In a squeaky voice I said “adult diapers” feeling frightened and ashamed. The store associate then changed his tune and gladly showed me where they were and left me alone. That experience scarred me so much. I then intermittently wore due to binging and purging until I reached an age where I realized that this is part of who I am. I don’t always feel an urge to wear, but I have none of the guilt associated with diapers that I once had. Lol I’m rambling.

I often (around once a month) have an accident in which I accidentally good my bowels in my pants. It happens in frequently enough for me to not be able to justify wearing diapers all the time. Sometimes it happens when I think I have gas, and to my surprise it’s not gas lol, other times I have a sudden urge to rush to the restroom and don’t make it in time, and in some other varying conditions. I do however sometimes experience a “leaky” bowel and for that I wear pads (like female sanitary pads) as it’s small amounts, but enough to make me need to change my underwear if I don’t have something to catch/contain it.

I love the convenience of a pull up. I also love elastic waistbands on pull-ups and regular diaper a lot. Anything that really “hugs” my waist. But the pull-up market is so lacking when it comes to being super absorbent. I just don’t understand why there can’t be a regular diaper with pull-up style waistbands.

I sometimes elect to go in my diaper when I’m wearing. Personally, I don’t actively try to poop in my underwear, however having IBS, sometimes it’s out of my control.

To be honest I believe they are priced due to being a product for a niche market. While yes, one could argue that certain ABDL diapers are more effective and of better quality than their commercial counterparts (i.e. depends and such), the demand for a diaper with prints that of “babyish” graphics is just not a high demand product. While some of us here enjoy wearing diapers strictly for personal reasons, the general public who have a need for diapers due to incontinence (I understand there are many in our community with incontinence that like to express their ABDL lifestyle) don’t generally have the attachment to diapers that our community here does. This makes manufacturing being done at small levels, thus driving the price up. Personally, I am not an AB, but wouldn’t mind some of the cute printed diapers, but being a bigger guy, rarely are my sizes considered.

No not really. If/when i get aroused when wearing it’s something totally unrelated. Diapers are 100% comfort and embracing to me, almost like a favorite pillow, or blanket that makes you feel better.

I have my first outs in my dresser. My reserves are in 2 duffel bags in my closet. Thankfully, I can keep mine accessible s I love with roommates that respect personal space. One of my roommates knows that I wear at night and knows where my stash is. I told him that if something was to ever happen to me (bad medical/trauma accident) to ghost protocol that sh*t and throw it away for me lol

I hadn’t wore in a while due to being busy with work and school. Well today, I got into one of my disposables and wet it almost immediately. After about 2 hours of lying in bed with my wet diaper I felt the urge to wet some more. I gave a bit of a push and accidentally filled my diaper with a full BM. It’s not uncommon for me to mistake a BM for gas, and even then when I have a legitimate accident, it’s usually not a too much, but this time it was everything I had lol.. I immediately laughed out loud, and had to sneak to the bathroom. All three of my roommates were home too, which when I choose to mess, they aren’t here to smell it... lol.

I agree with others on here. For me it got less sexual as I aged and as I was exposed to diapers more often. At first I felt naughty, and I liked being naughty. However after over 10 years of wearing on and off, I really don't get aroused at all anymore by wearing diapers, it's much nicer this way for me.

I will have days without really any bowel movement. Then after a few days at any time my stomach will rumble, sometimes get in knots and then the timer starts. I know that if I do not get to a bathroom within 3-5 minutes I will have a BM in my pants. I work EMS and have been in a patients house and had to go number 2 in their bathroom because of this. It was really embarrassing, but it was less embarrassing than walking around with it in my pants, through the hospital to drop the patient off, then climb back in the truck and head back to the station. As far as having any feeling of it coming out? Absolutely, I know it's going to come and know when it's coming out, but it's usually if I cannot physically hold it back anymore. Doesn't matter what position I am in, I've had it happen while in bed sleeping, and rolled over to get up and it just came out, I've had it happen while standing/running to the bathroom, and while i was sitting.

I have worn in public many times. I don't do it often but it's usually just because of laziness, not that I'm really scared to do it. While this isn't going out in diapers, sometimes when I wake in the morning and my diaper is full, I'll pull on a pair of gym shorts and throw a shirt on and hang out with my roommates before they go to work. If they've noticed they didn't say anything. Not that I want to involve them, I'm just not ready to climb out of my diaper first thing in the morning.

Hey, like Alvin said, just go for it! Is it overall confidence that you lack? Is it that you're worried someone will notice you're wearing? Or is it leaks? You can try wearing in public and not using your diaper for a while. Many actually enjoy wearing and not using their diapers! But if you're like me, you enjoy using them for their intended purposes. So again, just try wearing dry in public. Sometimes if I'm going to be out for a while I will wear a pair of vinyl underwear over my diaper. It has elastic leg cuffs and an elastic waistband. It has never failed me yet! Sometimes I will also wear a pair of boxers or undies over my diaper and pull them up high to keep my diaper in place. As it fills it sags, so this helps prevent sagging. I'm sure many more will have some great ideas! Good luck!

My bowel habits are erratic. I'll go 2-3 days sometimes 4 without much bowel movement. Then usually at some point out of nowhere I will have a sudden and strong

I love with three of my friends. Well, one of my roommates and I are really close. We have lived in our house for 3 years now and the empty room next to mine in basement became his when he decided he wanted to move his stuff to the basement because of the temperature difference. I bought a pack of depends when I was 15, but I never would have dared to wear to high school. I did end up building courage though. When I started college several years ago, I was taking a German class. We had to stand in front of the class and carry on a small conversation with the teacher as a grade for our test. I have messed myself in public many times, but never in a diaper, and never on purpose. I will say however, I have a diaper cover that completely blocks the smell out. I have pooped in my diaper (at home) with the diaper cover on, and have been around my roomies (one of which who knows I wear at night) but none of them were the wiser! I'm not sure if I want to go 24/7, or at least I'm not at a point in my life where I would want to do that. I do like the freedom of being able to not have to take diapers with me when I leave the house, if I do choose. I have worn at work before, but it's not something I generally do in fear of discovery. Aside from the whole diaper thing (I hardly consider it a fetish for me, due to overall lack of sexual satisfaction. It's more emotional for me), I enjoy being talked to dirty, and I mean no holds barred. BDSM stuff. I like to be used .
