    • Well, at least I have AO3 and here...for now. I live in a red state (Missouri), and I'm also worried about potential Supreme Court decisions; if Texas is enacting laws like this, I can't imagine Missouri will be far behind; we're easily one of the most conservative and anti-LGBTQI+ states in the United States (which, as a transwoman, scares the shit out of me). I worry about this site more than AO3, honestly. AO3 has been allowing ABDL (and, really, a lot of other stuff) since its inception because they wanted the writers to have freedom in what they wrote. It honestly helps that there's pseudos as well; I've got two: one for regular fanfiction, one for my ABDL fiction). But this site...well, I don't even post most of my ABDL fiction here because I simply don't want to post something that might get all of my stories banned (there's a lot of heavy stuff in my works). But the main reason for my concern is because of the state I live in. Like Sofia said, I'm worried about someone getting my info, doxing me, revealing what I'm into to people I don't trust. I'm kinda paranoid about that as well; people whom I've revealed to that I trusted have burned me twice before - and there's absolutely no way in hell I want my sperm donor to find out.
    • Thank you for your response! "Lactulose is also used to reduce the amount of ammonia in the blood of patients with liver disease. It works by drawing ammonia from the blood into the colon where it is removed from the body." So that would have been a (very) high dose for your family member, to remove as much ammonia from the blood as possible for the sake of health. I will certainly take the feedback about the risks of dehydration into account! (again I assume that the dosage for your family member was ultra high and I will certainly not reach that level with "normal" use) I had also thought about starting with extra fluid intake the day/days prior, and of course a lot more during use. Especially if one uses the combination of the 2, both of which pull water out from the body and into the colon. This water softens stools. So I was(am) looking for experiences of combination use. This is done, there are medical studies that show that it is a very good method. See here an example of such a medical study. "Polyethylene glycol combined with lactulose has better efficacy than polyethylene glycol alone in bowel preparation before colonoscopy" However, the use/administration protocol is not described and I hope to get help from readers there. In the sense of who has experience with it and can help me along the way. And again, can also provide the correct precautions, Do's and Don'ts, etc.
