  1. Cloth or Disposable diapers? Disposable for sure. I have tried cloth several times and it's just not for me. Cloth-Backed or Plastic-Backed? Plastic backed. White, Blue or Pink? As someone else said, if any color purple. Very sad to see Molicare turn blue. Plain or Printed Designs? Printed, but not in the way most people seem to want. I actually like the medical style printing. I really like the print designs of Abena, Molicare, and Tena but they're not the best in terms of quality. I wish someone like Rearz or ABU made diapers with medical style printing and the same level of quality. Scented or Non-Scented? Non-scented mostly just because anything I've ever worn scented burned my crazy sensitive skin. Tape-Style or Pull-Up Style? Tabbed, I have zero interest in pullups.
  2. We don't have a lot of experience with the Seni line but the samples my SO has tried work better than any other cloth backed. I think the looseness issues with cloth backed might have more to do with the backing being very thin and thus weak and less to do specifically with being cloth backed. At least that's part of the problem. Seni are very well made so seem to have less issues in that regard. Still no reason to not use plastic backed other than lack of availability.
  3. The ann plastic Molicare Slip seem to have vanished from most places that sell them. I wonder if everyone had a similar experience with supplies as Adam from Northshore reported?
  4. You know what? I think I'm thinking of the Better Dry. I get them confused.
  5. Dry 24/7 and I think some others also have waist bands. A lot of AB diapers do as well and often they have plain white options.
  6. I keep my diapers in the bathroom closet. My girlfriend has all of hers in the bedroom closet, the bedroom floor, and the bedroom shelves. She has a lot more than me as she is incontinent and wears them all the time. I only really wear mine to bed.
  7. I actually like John Waters films in general. I find it kind of upsetting he'd be so against the ABDL thing. I always thought of him as "one of us". Now I feel like he's just "one who exploits us".
  8. I'm re-reading… or more accurately re-listening to all of the Dresden Files books. Hoping against hope Butcher finally writes the next book before I'm done. Doing something a little different this time and also going through the short stories in order as I read the books. Now that Sir Pratchett is lost to us Butcher is one of my few joys for new books. Damnit I keep forgetting Pratchett is gone. Now I'm depressed.
  9. I'm not sure the use of the word "overpriced" is applicable here. I see this in other communities as well. People often use the word "overpriced" to mean "more than I want to pay". To me at least, that's not what I think of it as meaning. "Overpriced", to me, means costing more than is reasonable for the market and cost of production. Most ABDL diapers are expensive but that cost is easily seen in the higher quality and prints and generally pricing across all fully printed ABDL diapers is relatively similar. The only diapers I would maybe consider overpriced are Bambino as they don'y compare favorably to other comparable diapers. Even still they're not really that bad.
  10. The only time I have seen actual real adult diapers, as in the sort any of us would wear, in media is an episode of Community. I believe the episode is Documentary Filmmaking: Redux.
  11. There seems to be three basic types. One is thinner and has four tapes. This includes the Rebel, Inspire, and Spoiled. The next is the thicker "overnight" variety which includes the Safari, Inspire+, and Princess. The last is their one tape diapers which are about the same thickness as the thinner ones. This includes Inspire Select and the now discontinued frog ones I forget the name of. They're all good imo and worth the money. If you're looking for thick go for the Safari, Inspire+, or Princess depending on your aesthetic preferences.
  12. I have purchased diapers quite a bit from Amazon as well as everything else from Amazon. I have never received anything not in an Amazon box. That is assuming it's being fulfilled by Amazon. You're generally safe on anything that is available via Prime.
  13. As best I can tell with side by side comparison the Molicare Maxi is identical. Well… except for one important aspect. They're a pale blue rather than purple. I still like them but I did much prefer the purple. I'm guessing you did as well given your heavily purple avatar.
  14. I feel lucky in that I only went through the binge thing once. After years of looking at stuff in catalogs and then online I ordered some diaper samples in my early 20s. After getting them I kinda freaked out and threw everything I ordered out. It took another five or six years before I bought anything again and since then I have not felt the need to binge.
  15. I'm glad we're all calling it "duck tape" I was erroneously told as a child that's wrong and it's "duct tape" but iirc "duck tape" is the original name as it was used for waterproofing. Notably waterproofing ammo boxes for the navy. "Duct tape" is arguably also correct but I err towards "duck". Um… sorry for the off topic. Back on topic, I agree that there's no way you'd ever need a diaper that could hold that much… although… higher max capacity seems to also equate to higher comfortable capacity. Also higher leak-less capacity. My SO who is incontinent often uses the Rearz diapers for night and very long (10+ hour) car trips. She never reaches full capacity but stays comfortable much longer than something with a lower maximum capacity.
  16. I really would not worry about "wasting" tissues. As best I can tell at worst they're made from trees grown specifically for the purpose which are immediately replanted. Some are also made from saw dust which would otherwise be burned or thrown out, or from recycled paper. I do believe you also get thousands of boxes worth of tissues from a single tree which grows to maturity in about 10-15 years. Paper use really isn't an environmental issue imo. It's a renewable biodegradable resource. There's way worse issues in the world than over using paper. Again any trees used for paper are grown specifically for that purpose. Getting upset about using paper is sort of like getting upset about eating any plant.
  17. If you like The Babysitter I'd also suggest Better Watch Out. It's a little less colorful and fun and also takes place during x-mas but it's a similar set up and also pretty great imo.
  18. I had been interested in diapers, specifically adult diapers, since I was around 10-11. I have no idea why. I just came across the incontinence section in the Sears catalog and was fascinated. I used to fantasize about being an adult so I could buy them and would count the years until I'd be an adult. Until I was about 25
  19. Your milage may vary but my SO is incontinent. When we were broke we tried buying cheaper products, usually Depends with tabs. In a few months of doing this we found we actually spent more money on the Depends than we did on better quality products. This is because we'd go through way more of the Depends. Often we'd use as many as 3-4 times the quantity. Sure the Depends where around 80
  20. Both myself and my SO have favorites but generally they're just favorites for a time. We both like trying new things and are always looking for anything new and always up for trying new brands and products. That said I do tend to go back to the first two diapers I tried, namely Molicare and Abena.
  21. Do the Northshore Supreme have a thermal wetness indicator? We had a similar issue with a batch of the seemingly always changing Unique Wellness. It appeared that the application of the wetness indicator had compromised the integrity of the plastic as it split right where the wetness indicator was.
