I am glad I saw this thread as I missed it before & I was wondering why I kept getting postcards & why a few of my boxes were printed with what was inside on the outside of the box. Agree with others, there is no reason to send out postcards & advertise what is in the box on the outside of the box.

I agree with Wannatripbaby. Reading in general whether it be this site or otherwise can help a person discover a lot about themselves (if they are open to self discovery that is). I sure have learned a lot about myself through reading books, blogs, etc. in the last ten years.

I get my Molicare Slip Maxi's from Amazon. Hope this helps. I think you can also get them from Xpmedical.com, but I believe Amazon is cheaper.

I like you have heard about it & had it recommended & there was some consideration to try it by a former therapist who suddenly retired & therefore I didn't get a chance to try it & to be honest, after what I read & researched about it, I am glad that I didn't get a chance to try it because it scares me. I had a tough "childhood" & a rather traumatic past & trying to let go of it, (something that I am otherwise having a really hard time doing) is why EMDR was discussed for me. But essentially "re-living" those traumatic memories all over again? Yeah uh that would be a no from me.

I agree with wannatripbaby. You had no idea what was going on & once you found out, now you are understanding, kind & compassionate. On another note, @Wannatripbaby I love your customized title because of your post count of "Community Therapist". Made me laugh because in real life I feel like everyone's therapist, lol.

I voted wet diaper too & like Dubious, I like wet & not soaked, but I also like changing into a dry one as well. Oh Mike how can you make us pick? After all to borrow Frito Lay's Lays Potato chip slogan "You can't have just one"

Same as you. Kids stuff now is nothing like what was on when I was a kid. The stuff that was on when I was a kid was much more innocent & to me it is nostalgic.

Angela, I don't know if you know this, but since Babies-R-Us is owned by TRU, they too are going out of business.

If I just answered this without giving it any real thought I would probably say yes, however I am not that type. Hence as I think about it, no, I wouldn't give them up if I could, because I know that something else, perhaps something even more costly or more dangerous would have to take the place of diapers. I have dealt with guilt in the past, but I feel that this was due to my upbringing. Once I realized that there could be much more hazardous things that I could be into or that could take the place of my enjoying diapers any guilt left. This is a part of me, it is not who I am & I am okay with this.

What Cruiser said ^^^^ About a year ago I tried Prevail Extended wear for the first time & I thought they were a little better than the Walgreens Certainty, then I tried some more with the last couple of months & have noticed a big decrease in quality & I say they are no better than depends for using them.

It would probably depend on your water intake, thusly how strong the urine in the diaper is. If you are well hydrated with water & you put the diaper on a few hours before you go to bed & wet it before you go to sleep & don't change until morning, It shouldn't make your room smell.

If all that ABUniverse owns the right to use "Space" in relation to Diapers, I don't see how Tykables using "Space Cadet" is an issue. How ABU got such a generic copyright on the word "space" in terms of diapers I find kind of surprising. I would think that it would need to be more specific, but that's just me.

I wouldn't count on the Abena M4/L4 not changing, they are seemingly thinner & I think the plastic backed ones ARE gone. Thankfully I still have like a bag & a half left of them & I am going to cherish them.

I don't know if you know this or not, & I believe we are talking about the same diapers. I am almost sure that the Molicare Super Plus diapers are still in existence only they have changed the name & they are now Molicare Slip MAXI. Yes, the regular Molicare Slip are Cloth-backed, but unless they have changed again in like the last 3 months, the Molicare Maxi ones are plastic-backed, they are blue instead of purple. To the OP, Yes I am noticing these changes too & they are not for the better & all for the sake of profit & I am noticing these changes with the Abena line. This sucks.

None in my opinion, "Clubs within Clubs" tend to become "cliques" which I don't like, because then in my experience it makes it even harder to engage with others & make new friends because the "clique" is like: "Well you're not in our clique, so you're not included."
