  1. I am not, nor have I ever really been, a bedwetter. I recall precisely three instances in my childhood when I wet the bed, and though I was embarrassed by the first two at age seven, I was more surprised and secretly pleased at the third time during my adolescence. I very much want to be a bedwetter, not in the getting my sheets wet sense, but in the peeing in my diaper while asleep sense. I've been practicing, and I think I've had a few instances now when I either wet while asleep, or woke up briefly to pee, went back to sleep, and have no recollection of it. I'm doing my best to go to bed with a dry diaper every night now so I can really identify if I wake up wet.
  2. I've just started getting into onesies, I like hiding them under overalls and shortalls and nobody can even tell. I pushed it a little close one time, my sister showed up at my door one morning while I was still asleep, and I was wearing my Tykables Overnights onesie with little baby animals dressed in footie PJs and holding bottles and pacifiers on it. I threw some shorts over the top to answer the door, and she never said anything, so I decided to keep it on. Later I video called a friend of mine, who asked, "What's on your shirt?" I tried to pick one of the less baby-looking characters and showed her, but her comment was, "That looks like something an infant would wear." I just chuckled awkwardly and said, "Yeah I guess it kind of does," and changed the subject quickly. Since then I know to be more careful about which onesies I wear under clothes and which ones not to!
  3. If being an ABDL were a perfectly normal hobby, the same as fishing, say, or hiking or collecting baseball cards. If you could go out in full ABDL gear - paci, diaper, onesie, shortalls, etc. - and have no one bat an eye, what kinds of activities would you do? For me, I'd spend a lot of time outdoors. Going to parks and playing on the equipment, going camping with other ABDLs, going to movies and getting the biggest soda they had, just because I know I won't have to get up to go to the bathroom and miss part of the film. If being ABDL were normal, I bet there would be a lot more places that catered to us. Like now we have dance clubs and fishing permits and shooting ranges for people who are into that kind of stuff, I bet we'd have adult preschools where you could drop in and play with other ABs and be taken care of by the "teachers", specialized premium AB gear stores where you could go to buy the highest quality diapers and baby clothes, or ABDL retreats up in the mountains where you could run around in just a onesie or shirt and diaper and be totally relaxed. Sigh, I wish being ABDL were normal, I'd be able to talk about my hobby to anyone and not have them think I was weird. Right now I just keep quiet and seem like a rather dull person, because I can't talk about the things that really interest me and make me happy.
  4. Welcome to DD! It's great to have another writer on board. I've never written anything for this site, I dabble in fanfiction a lot, but am kind of working on an original story that would fit well here. I look forward to reading your work!
  5. Welcome! Another IC AB here, I think you'll enjoy it here, we're a fun group with a wide variety of topics to explore.
  6. Can you make a sequel? I want to know what happens when he becomes fully diaper trained!
  7. I play by myself all the time, it's all I can get. I put on my diaper and onesie, get my pacifier, bottle and stuffies, and play with blocks, play make believe, watch Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, or draw. It's lonely sometimes, but it's better than nothing. I really want to find another little to play with.
  8. I think I'm a blend of adult kid and adult baby. I'm diapered 24/7, use pacifiers, suck my thumb and wear onesies and footed pjs, but at the same time I like doing "older kid" stuff like playing with blocks, having adventures with my stuffies, drawing and reading big kid chapter books. I guess I'm best described as a socially and emotionally delayed three to four year old.
  9. I'm autistic and dinosaurs are my special interest, I know everything about them. I've been obsessed with them for several years now, the parasaurolophus is my favorite. Last night my friend, who's also autistic, and I had a three-hour conversation about them, it was awesome.
  10. I've loved diapers for as long as I can remember, I recall asking my mom to put me back in them when I was about four. I'm lucky that I really don't have to hide my diapers from anyone. My parents and doctor know, as do two of my friends.
  11. My parents and doctor know, and I recently told a good friend of mine. She said she was glad I told her because if I have an accident, she'll be able to help me. My friend is awesome.
  12. I'm interested to hear the stories of accidents you've had, diapered or undiapered. It always makes me feel less alone in my IBS to know I'm not the only one who has them. I had a really big one maybe a month or two ago while my friend and I were on a walk around the block in my neighborhood. One second I was fine, the next my stomach was killing me and I tried to hold it in, but lasted maybe a minute before everything came out at once. It was super liquid and I had to be careful about how I walked to make sure my diaper didn't leak. Fortunately we were close to my house and I got in and changed immediately, I don't think my friend noticed my odd walk or the smell, and if he did, he didn't say anything about it. So tell me your stories.
  13. I have IBS and will mess my diaper in public occasionally. I don't like hanging around in a poopy diaper so I'll find a bathroom to change in as soon as possible.
  14. I have IBS and sometimes have messy accidents as a result. I'm diapered 24/7 because I never know when it's going to happen. One minute I'll be fine and the next I'll be cramping up and everything will be coming out before I have time to do anything about it. Do any of you have accidents?
  15. Depending on what you're going to the doc for, chances are high the diapers won't even come up. Personally if you're serious about going 24/7, I agree with you that it would be taking a step back to avoid wearing at the doctor's. They're professionals, they see this kind of thing all the time and aren't going to think it's strange.
  16. So, I just told my friend I wear diapers for my IBS. I didn't tell her I enjoy wearing them, or about my AB stuff, but she now knows about my diapers. I was shaking so hard when I texted her, I was afraid she'd be disgusted and drop me as a friend, or be weirded out, but she was so nice about it. She said she has a cousin with IBS who wears diapers too, and that it's no big deal to her. She said she'd support me in whatever I needed, and even confided that she has paruresis (fear of peeing in public). I'm so relieved that she knows, it's silly, but it felt like such a huge secret weighing me down and keeping me from being fully honest and open with my friend. I'm really happy it went so well.
  17. I'm working towards bladder IC right now. I already have partial bowel IC from IBS that I don't plan on worsening, since BMs are such a pain to clean up.
  18. I read all the time about people wanting to become IC, but have any of you actually done it? Gone from fully continent to losing all or most of your control? How did you do it? Did the 12 month diaper program work? Also, out of interest, what, if anything, did you tell the people around you about how you came to be wearing diapers again?
  19. How did you manage to make yourself bowel IC Incondl?
  20. I'm female and very small (4'11 and 90 lbs) so I'm lucky to still be able to fit into little girls' clothes. I have a number of pairs of shortalls and regular overalls, including the pink Cat and Jack ones someone else mentioned above. I can get away with wearing really quite babyish prints, which I love. I recently got a new onesie from Rearz that has little zebras all over it and red trim on the sleeves and neck, and I wore it under my pink overalls, and someone said, "I love your shirt! Where did you get it?" I kind of laughed and just said, "Online." I really love footed PJs as well, they're really the only kind of pajamas I wear. I have a couple of fleece ones, one with Ana and Elsa on it, one with a hood that's patterned like a giraffe, and two light cotton ones that I really love from Rearz. I'm trying to decide if I can get away with wearing my Little Pawz onesie with the little baby diapered animals all over it under my shortalls. It's an extra small and still a little too big, but I love it, it's so comfortable and the print is to die for.
  21. I'm asexual and aromantic, pleasantly surprised to see how many of us there are here.
  22. I'm aromantic and asexual as well. Finding someone who wants to engage in ABDL stuff without turning it sexual is super hard. I have one long distance friend that I roleplay with, but I have to be careful because he keeps making romantic advances that I have to fight off and make extremely clear boundaries around.
  23. I've only ever wet the bed twice, once when I was seven, I woke to soaked sheets, and once when I was a teenager I woke while in the middle of peeing and ended up with damp pants and a baseball-sized wet patch on my sheets. I'm currently trying to become urinary incontinent, and that includes bedwetting, so I wear a diaper to bed every night and wet it whenever I feel the slightest urge.
  24. I mostly wet standing, but I can wet sitting, and am practicing wetting while lying down in various positions as I work my way towards becoming a bedwetter.
  25. I've had readily reliable control since I was potty trained at about age three. In all that time I only remember one wet bed and one pair of wet pants, both when I was about seven. I developed IBS about two years ago and began losing bowel control at about 25-26 years old (I'm 27 1/2 now). I have periods where I can go months without an accident, and periods where it will flare up again and I can have multiple inside of a week. I'm in the middle of a flare up right now.
