  1. I do have cloth diapers, but I don't have the financial means to prepare for a real, "end of the world" sort of situation. I suspect if that were to happen, disabled people like me would be the first to go anyway.
  2. Hey, how about that? I woke up wet today. Again, though, I just wish it were consistent.
  3. Yeah, if you choose to ignore the sniping comment that we should "give therapy a go."
  4. Did you happen to check the date of the OP's post? This thread got started quite a few years ago. I'm guessing he's found a way to come to terms with his diaper wearing, since he's posted quite a bit since then. Am I right, Just a Person?
  5. I'm a side sleeper, and not only do I wear a cloth diaper with plastic pants, I put two blue Chux pads underneath me. Underneath that I put one of my worn-out cloth diapers (no longer useful as a diaper, but perfect as a pad)
  6. Well, after putting it off forever, I'll finally be getting two new twill diapers, courtesy of ebay.

  7. Cloth, most definitely. The first diaper I ever wore post- potty training was cloth (at age ten) and although I like certain disposables (like the Bambino Classico) there's just no comparison.
  8. I don't have a crib as such, but the hospital bed I sleep in has side rails, so I have at least some understanding. (I like to pretend I have a youth bed).
  9. It's frustrating, you know? I would really love some advice on how to wet more consistently. What's complicating matters for me is that I have almost constant swelling in my left leg after being injured in a traffic accident years ago (lymphadema, I believe my doctor called it). So I go through periods in which I retain water, and periods in which I get rid of huge amounts of it--that's when I'm most likely to have accidents for a week or more in a row. It helps, too, if I'm not constipated--I tend to wet in my sleep most often several hours after
  10. I'd say like what you like without regard to what gender box it fits in, whether it be BOTH Disney Princesses and Hot Wheels, or neither. I liked some "girl" items (like dolls) and some "boy" stuff (slot cars, toy robots)
  11. I spoke too soon. I followed that with four days in which I woke up dry (but wet as soon as I moved). Woke up wet yesterday, but was dry this morning.
  12. I kind of like Patrick--it's already been established that he wears diapers... Which raises the question, if he's underwater, how can he tell he's wet?
  13. Are the standard size "baby" pins too small for you? It's a shame the big ones didn't work out--I find them perfect for my own diapers. Perhaps you might consider using a Snappi? You can get those from Amazon.
  14. Even though this thread is more than a decade old, it's still relevant, I suppose, so I participated in the poll.
  15. Except for one game, I really didn't play video games. I'm of the pinball machine generation, and to this day greatly prefer those. Ironically, the one game I played on my brother's Atari 2600 was video pinball.
  16. Drawing (I was a working cartoonist at one time), reading, writing fiction, composing ragtime with computer notation software. I've loved ragtime since I was 12--that was about the time of the movie "The Sting," and the revival of interest in the form.
