Generally I prefer serious spanking implements. When I administer spankings I normally use a Hair Doc brush. When my husband actually punishes me he uses his hand. When he spanks me as foreplay he prefers using a mini-martinet which is super sensual. However, during the early summer of 1981 when I was almost 17 my older sister and I were driving back home from Santa Barbara when we pulled off the freeway to buy gas. A shop called Santa's Village was next door. There we found a bin with an assortment of wooden paddles similar to the one in the photo. They cost very little. They had different sayings. They turned out to be quite sturdy. I still have the one I bought then which says "Attitude Adjuster". I remember as soon as we got home we used those paddles on each other. Before bed that night I used one of those paddles on my youngest sister, then almost 12, who shared my room.

A whole lot of my relatives are incontinent! My Mom had lost all of her bladder control long before I was born. Her mother (my Granny Vi) had reverted to bedwetting at puberty and resumed day wetting at 19. Vi has often told me that her mother (who died before I was born) wore diapers all the time. All of Mom's sisters wear diapers. All of my 3 sisters and my younger brother wear diapers. Hardly any of these relatives wear pull-ups. They find tape-on far more effective. Most, like me, prefer pinned washable diapers in bed and when home. I am the only one who wears GoodNite Tru-Fit, but I am by far the smallest adult in my extended family.

Back in 1990 I was 26 and working as an attorney. I had reverted to bedwetting at age 12 and lost all my day control at age 21. After I turned 26 all the logistics about buying and disposing of diapers depressed me. I bitched to my youngest sister who also is totally urinary incontinent. She laughed and handed me a baby bottle, saying, "Big Sis, try playing Bib Baby and have fun with your diapers. Stop calling them 'containment garments'. Admit you wear diapers just as we did as kids and teenagers!" She handed me an issue of FETISH TIMES (no longer being published) which had an article about Diaper Pail Friends (DPF). I found out there is a huge community of ABDL. I joined DPF and have never looked back. I can be discreet about my diapers when necessary and I discreetly play Big Baby when I need to relax.

Besides pre-stretching disposables, it is very important to remove them from the compressed plastic bag as soon as possible. This is why hanging diaper stackers are so popular. Diapers are far more comfy and absorb better when un-compressed.

If I could do so I would make disposables taking the best features of Pampers Cruisers or Target Up and Up (and more absorbent Over Night) in sizes larger than 7, all the way up to fit 150 plus pounds with single tabs per side, or 2 per side if necessary. I would also make diapers with a washable stretchy panty which has a waterproof pocket to hold disposable liners without any waterproof layer. Those would be like adult-size GoodNites Tru-Fit. Another product I would make would be similar to Target Up and Up without side wings and tabs in larger sizes to be worn inside washable stretchy panties.

I was born in July 1964. My family was anti-disposable, so I grew up wearing classic Curity 21x40 inch pinned gauze diapers covered by Gerber vinyl panties. After I was toilet-trained my bladder was tiny and over-active so Mom would nicely wear just-in-case diapers on trips, etc. After I outgrew Gerber Toddler-Large vinyl pants sold in stores Mom ordered larger size from the Gerber factory by mail. At some point I was large enough I needed 2 of the diapers folded together. These days I wear pinned square 2-ply gauze diapers from ADC with Gerber Birdseye baby prefolds as soakers. My vinyl pants are KINS 10300 pull-on to bed or whenever those are discreet enough because I have no bladder control. When I need discreet diapers for work and social events I wear GoodNites Tru-Fit.

During Memorial Day Weekend of 1968 I was 6 weeks short of my 4th birthday. We were participating in Renaissance Pleasure Faire, then in Agoura, CA. On the main meadow, surrounded by paying customers, my Mom had me lay down. She raised my shift, preparing to change my diaper. I looked up to see Queen Elizabeth I smiling down at me. She told me that she was pleased.

I am urinary incontinent. I was born female and still am female. In 1976 shortly after I reached puberty I reverted to bedwetting. Up to then my bladder was small and over-active so I often wore just-in-case diapers when on trips, but as long as I was fairly close to a toilet I had not needed diapers in bed, even on trips. Back then I had only worn pinned gauze diapers inside vinly panties. When sleeping I change position a lot. My mother always made sure I had enough capacity when she pinned me into just-in-case diapers. She taught me to be as careful when changing my own diapers. At 17 I moved to university where my dorm had no coin laundry. That was 1981 when the only disposables that fit me were Attends. For bed I always covered those with pull-on vinyl panties. In 1991 I moved to a home with a laundry room, so I could resume wearing pinned gauze diapers to bed. I still do so at home and when possible while traveling. When I must wear disposables to be they are inside pull-on vinyl panties.

The Spank-O-Matic we bought @2009 has been up-dated as new features and options have been invented. One of my favorite optional features is programing change of position. Of course this works better with some types of paddles. Even our SOM II does not provide a manual over-the-lap hairbrush spanking, but it does a swell job of a school-style bend-over paddling or a caning. Robo-Spanker is probably Spank-O-Matic's primary rival. None of our friends own a Robo, but at a few adult spanking conventions both Robo and SOM were there to demo their products. I like the fact that SOM uses compressed air so it is easy to set the intensity precisely and over a very wide range. SOM can deliver spanks much faster. Sometimes I want a flurry of rapid spanks, but when I want a slower spanking with firmer swats, that is easily programmed.

Since this is 2019 not 2013, these days most of our computers are new and run Win 10. However, the one my loving husband used for writing runs Vista because that is good enough and he really knows how to get the most from an OS which was never popular.

My bladder control problems both night and day are beyond my control. Therefore I am not ashamed or embarrassed. I simply put on the most effective kind of diaper whic is discreet enough for the situation. At home when we do not have visitors I prefer to wear pinned gauze diapers. For work I wear GoodNites Tru-Fit which are discreet and yet absorb enough they do not leak if I fall asleep when resting.

The last time I wet when I was not diapered was in July 1976. I had just reached puberty. One night I reverted to bedwetting, which I discovered as soon as I woke up. Immediately I told my Mom. She helped me strip my bed. Fortunately Mom had never removed my waterproof sheet. That day Mom and my older sister Penny taught me how to pin on my diapers for bed. Since then I have never gone to bed without a diaper.

Today's two additions about the next trip to Disney are charming. "Sister Billie" seems to be enjoying her new role as much as younger sister Sally.

Here at DD it is hardly a secret that I am profoundly urinary incontinent, that I was born with a tiny over-active bladder (although I was completely toilet trained at 33 months) and that my Mom was always nice when she asked me to wear just-in-case diapers. The fact is that I have NEVER attended a theme park without wearing diapers! My father was the sales executive for a meat processing firm who handled both the Disneyland and Knott's SoCal accounts. Therefore from infancy onward as a family we frequently attended those facilities, both of which were less than a 30 minute drive from our home. My older brother had excellent bladder control so if he ever needed just-in-case diapers that was before I remember. My older sister, my younger brother and two younger sisters all wore just-in-case diapers. We grew up seeing a whole lot of kids far older than toddlers having diapers changed in theme parks and roadside rest stops. To me it makes great sense to wear a diaper even as an adult to avoid having to get out of line to run to a restroom. The only time I spent New Years Eve in Times Square was 31 December 1981. I was in my first year at university and I wore Attends. I felt absolutely no shame. As it happened the older man I married in 1991 was a Disney designer of Disneyland starting in 1952 continuing until he retired in 1990, so we have been to Disney World and every other Disney theme park. In ladies' rooms I see adults and children of all ages in diapers. Those are smart, practical folks.

Last evening, Friday 11 January 2019, Got got a real punishment spanking because I had been inconsiderate to my husband. He is 32 years my elder. He was still vigorous back in 2009 when we bought a Spank-O-Matic II, just for the fun of it. That can be computer programmed to spank hard. Although my husband can still spank me with a strap of mini-martinet enough for foreplay, when I deserve punishment we use the SOM II. After I was across its bench, covered by an underpad, he stood close to scold be while I was being spanked using a Lexan implement the size of an oval hairbrush. I learned a good lesson that will last until the next time I am inconsiderate.

This afternoon my youngest sister Missy, our Mom Alice and her mom Granny Vi all visited me. Since all of us are urinary incontinent and Mom and Granny know that Missy and me use AB as a coping strategy, I asked them about gender specific punishments from the mid 1920s up to now. Granny was next to the youngest of five siblings. She said that both of her sisters were always spanked by their mom over the lap, by hand before they turned 7 and with the hairbrush as long as they lived at home. Her oldest sister was hairbrush spanked on her bare derrière at age 23 while she watched. Granny was spanked the evening before she got married at age 19. Both of her brothers were older so she only knew that they were paddled or strapped by their dad while bent over while wearing their underpants. Granny told me she was told by her mother that until the boys were 7 she spanked them by hand bare-bottom. Granny was never spanked by her dad, but was spanked by a few mothers of her friends. Mom is the oldest of her three siblings, all sisters. They were all spanked by Granny over the lap, with the hand or hairbrush depending on the misbehavior, until they moved out. Mom also was spanked with the hairbrush the day before her wedding at 18. Several mothers of her friends spanked her, as did a few Sunday school teachers. Sissy only has one child, my niece Karen, now almost 29 and a resident in urology. I have spanked Karen with a hairbrush over my lap on her bare derrière, as does Missy. When Karen was home for Christmas she talked back and got a spanking! When my Aunt Betsy's older son was 9 while babysitting him I had to spank him over my lap with a hairbrush. Since he needed diapers for bed Missy had told be she had not bothered to buy a strap or paddle and since he would be bare-bottom when I diapered him if I needed to spank him it should be on the bare.

For about 20 years I've worn vinyl pants from Kins/Babykins of Canada. I fit well in their stock panties, but they are willing to make vinyl pants to fit. With your thin legs probably all that is needed would be slightly tighter leg elastic. Kins also make adult Onesies.

Although spanking children and teens certainly was not as universal in my community in SoCal compared to Iowa, nobody ever reported obvious spanking marks on us, even when I was a high school senior! In Iowa nobody snickered while we changed during PE, but I did get a little teasing back in California. I seldom played at the homes of schoolmates, so agreements between mothers did not include me. However, my youngest sister Missy told me that when her daughter, born in 1990, Karen was 3yo there was an agreement within their babysitting cooperative that any parent could spank any misbehaving kid. Karen told me, when she was 12, that she got more and harder spankings from the other mothers. Such agreements make good sense to me. No photos were ever taken of me after spankings when I was a teen. Of course as soon as possible after my first several spankings I did use a mirror to inspect my marks. A week later I told Don that I knew I could be a brat and that I wanted him to spank me for real whenever he felt I needed to be punished. The pad I was standing on is not shown. I was still sniffling 10 minutes later when Don took that photo. We have a 16x20 inch enlargement of that photo in my AB nursery. Don tore just my red derrière portion from another copy of the photo which was encased in plastic. I always have that in my purse as a reminder. I shared the photo because that was how my rump looked after Aunt Betsy spanked me the first time.
