  1. @Little Christine they're very serious about it. my 2 aunt's have been living in an rv trailer for the past year. @WetDad there are opportunities in the lower 48 you just have to know what to look for and where to look. my mom wants to flat out buy the land and start farming / homesteading that way.
  2. no, i'm not underage or a minor. it just sounds kinda cool to grow my own food, plus i'll have like an acre at least to build my own house and do my own thing. my family is just sick of people and the daily 9-5 and want to slow down and enjoy life and nature.
  3. So i found out earlier today that my family wants to move to middle of nowhere Oregon and start a farm/ homestead. I'm not to sure on what to do, on one hand it'd be really cool to grow all the fruits and veggies i can eat and not be relying on city power or water but on the other hand... no internet for switch/ computer games no heat/ ac. dust and dirt everywhere. oh and most importantly of all no diapers or even a washing machine! i know it can be done with planning and stuff but my family isn't very understanding of my need to wear diapers and i'm just conflicted and would appreciate thoughts or comments either for or against me going with my mom and her 2 sisters. i'm kinda handy, i guess. i mean the most i've made / fixed was screwing together some 2x4's to make a small chicken door for my dad when i lived with him for a year in washington and that's about all i can do with tools. i do have disability benefits so there's that i guess. so yeah any thoughts or comments anyone?
  4. I'm hoping to get a case of TotalDry plus plastic diapers, either that or tranquility atns'
  5. from what i can see (and read) it seems that home is where you feel safest so you have no issues letting go when home. i would try to take a mental step back and find out why you feel like this so you can try to mentally feel like your "home" even when your not. or at least try to associate diapers with feeling at home or something like that.
  6. lol, i just did day 3 once. going to give the old windows laptop a break before i restart from chapter 1 to look at the new stuffs.
  7. Chapter 3 was awesome! too bad it took me nearly 12 hours to complete, lol my poor 2008 era $150-ish something laptop almost exploded!
  8. so far it seems it's fixed for me too. Thanks admin / mods!
  9. surfing using firefox on windows pc whenever i use the mark forum as read in any subforum page it shows a blank grey box with no text anywhere in the boxes or the buttons, just fyi.

    Podcasts?

the big little podcast just did a recording for a new show like a week ago. don't remember where i heard it, could've been through an email.
  12. yes, that's crazy also very bad for your skin no matter if your wearing rash cream as it could easily spread even if you don't visibly see it happening. please, don't keep it. it's dangerous regardless of your enjoyment as it can spread to other clothes and affect your wife. so please seek help for your infection.
  13. @ Waynes: that sounds a lot like a yeast infection. maybe you should sterilize your diapers somehow.
  14. i don't get to wear that often anymore but when i do; i wear a jelly-rolled prefold with another prefold soaker. that usually lasts me about 12 hours totally soaked.
  15. for me, i was born and raised in cloth as well, mostly due to being a premie and family money issues. i don't wear too often anymore but when i do i always wear my cloth as to me that's a real diaper. i sadly still live at home so diaper time is few and far between, plus i'm too broke for disposables, lol
  16. hey brooke, glad your hanging in there. getting your health in order is the first thing you should focus on, after all you didn't get potty trained after the first time so you just have to dust yourself off and get back to it when your able so there's no rush on your part, as it's about the journey and not the destination, you can't be late if you arrive precisely when you want to.
  17. i did too. i don't normally wet the bed and hardly drink alcohol but the bartender at the party i was at was liberal with the alcohol in my 7 &7 (had 2 of those), not to mention the small glass thing of champagne (which is nasty btw) i only slept for like 5 hours but my double night weight cloth diaper was near capacity lol. i wish i could wake up like that more often but unfortunately i live with my family still so that's not possible.

    New Years Baby

greetings, well i went out to the small family party last night. didn't get home until 1:30 am pst. only had 2 drinks plus a small thing of champagne (nasty stuff). those 2 drinks were very liberal in alcohol usage lol. after i got home, i decided to diaper up in 2 cloth prefolds and plastic pants. i was so out of it i didn't even put my spare pins someplace safe and ended up sleeping on them; they were closed of course, but i was lucky to get diapered and under covers since my family doesn't know i like diapers. needless to say it's a good thing i wore to bed last night as i was near full capacity some 5 hours later when i woke up.

    New Years Baby

i might go to a small family party, not diapered of course cause it's family and it'd be weird. of course i could just stay home and sleep in a diaper to start the new year.
  20. i watch it when i can. love all the shows. also like watching Maya the bee on sprout
  21. Actually according to my directv programing guide it shows it on Wednesday.
  22. you say sleep is important to you but in my opinion it should be your knee that's more important. if it were me i'd rather get very little sleep to insure my knee healed up properly as opposed to having a distinct chance of ruining it just because i didn't want lose some sleep. that being said it's your knee your choice. going back to the powder, i think you should at least give it a try, you never know it might be just the thing to make you comfortable enough to fall asleep. if nothing else you can use it during the day when you do wear, so it's not a waste. there's other uses for baby powder too other than in diapers so it's always handy to have around.
  23. @ rusty pins: hope your knee gets better. how long have you tried wearing diapers to bed? 2 days? also how much powder did you use if any? try wearing to bed for 5 more days. i don't wear diapers all that often but when i do wear to bed i use lots of powder to help combat the heat and sweat from the blankets so it's now more comfortable. also if you roll over onto your side try stuffing a pillow between your legs to help deal with the new bulk.
  24. looks delicious! mind telling us the name of the book?
