  1. I had that problem myself (as mentioned in a different thread) but it seems to have cleared up on its own.
  2. The only family member I ever told was my mother--the rest of the family has enough trouble accepting that I'm transgender, let alone ABDL. As to the media portrayals of our community, I can't recall any article, documentary or talk show that didn't look at us from a "aren't those people weird?" point of view. Some are better than others (Riley Kilo, the subject of the "My Strange Addiction" segment on adult babies,
  3. Just curious--how much does liposuction cost on average?
  4. I'm already a bedwetter (I've awakened wet six days in the past week), so I'd have to say emptying small amounts every ten minutes. One, my pathetically inadequate med-supply diapers might be better able to handle the flow (and therefore, leak less). Two, I'd feel more justified in calling myself "incontinent"--there's always that nagging question in the back of my mind: "Am I really incontinent, or just convinced myself I am so I could wear diapers?"
  5. I wish I could--my pacifier falling out of my mouth at night has been an ongoing source of frustration for as long as I've been using them. It doesn't help that I'm a side-sleeper--sleeping on my back might help keep it in, but my spinal curvature makes it difficult to sleep in that position, to say the least.
  6. I'm having difficulty accessing this site with Google Chrome. While using Chrome I can neither reply nor post (the part that says "Drag Files Here" is still there, but there's no text field that I can type in). EDIT--Disregard. It appears to be working now.
  7. I chose the first option, but it's only a guess, since no one has ever bothered to ask me why I use them. Not salesclerks, and certainly not the general public, assuming they notice at all. I assume they figure I'm incontinent because so many folks in wheelchairs are. EDIT: It seems I misread what the poll said. What would I LIKE them to think? Well, I suppose at worst that I'm incontinent, but really, I'd rather they just not bring the subject up at all.
  8. To Dirty Diaper/Maxipad Lover--yes, there was a similar discussion (to put it mildly) about Adrian Surley on ADISC about six years ago, in a thread about good diaper sites. Google "Adrian Surley fake" and it'll be one of the first hits that comes up. I didn't bother to read their arguments, since it doesn't really matter to me who she is. Her blog is an invaluable resource for the ABDL community, and typically generates some good discussions which have never, to my knowledge, degenerated into flame wars. As to online ID, I suppose I'm either a model of transparency or incredibly stupid--I'll leave it to you to decide which. The name I use here
  9. I don't know what to believe in regard to Angela. In an online forum like this, we do take it on faith that the people we associate with are who they say they are. On the other hand, I suppose if one wanted to, a person could piece together convincing-sounding evidence questioning my authenticity as well,
  10. If a transwoman can weigh in here, I'd have to say no also. Not that I'd object to playing mommy to another ABDL once in a while, but I'd prefer to be the little in the relationship.
  11. Since the amount I wet can vary wildly from one day to the next, and I wear rather cheap diapers, the number of wettings can be
  12. Most definitely yes. Two of my dollies occupy a prominent place on my bed, though in truth I alternate between cuddling them and my plush bunny.
  13. Had I seen the second part first, I might have had a whole different impression of the show--the host isn't as confrontational, and Maxine and Derek come across as well-spoken and respectable. I was expecting far, far worse. As to the Jerry Springer comparison, I don't know--Springer circa 1993, maybe, but not quite the spectacle Springer became later.
  14. My first impression upon seeing the clip was the obvious hostile, accusatory tone of the host, as if he were trying to trap her into admitting to something horrible. The questions themselves were not offensive, but his attitude made the interview seem more like an interrogation. At several points he leaned forward and appeared to get in her face.
  15. I noticed the stance, but never equated it with diapers. Dagwood, you have to remember, is a throwback to the 1930s in the way he's designed, and it seems as though all the classic "bigfoot" cartoon characters dating from that era have that stance.
  16. Count me among those who only wet (bladder incon due to OAB) though I do mess on occasion--just not intentionally. (Hate the clean-up, so I don't want to make more work for myself).
  17. I wear either a 4 X 8 X 4 or a 4 X 10 X 4.
  18. I am, but I haven't been on there in ages. It seems as though they've eliminated a lot of the ABDL content on there, which is why I got an account in the first place. I got interested in EP because of a supposedly biographical story I read by a man who claimed he had been a bedwetter as a child, and put in cloth diapers and plastic pants for an entire weekend by his aunt and uncle in the early sixties. It had all the earmarks of being a complete fantasy, but what a great fantasy! To my disappointment, I discovered I couldn't find the story anymore once I joined.
  19. I did when I first started wearing diapers as an adult (in the early nineties) because that was the way I usually got around inside my home, rather than use my crutches. I could really move out on my hands and knees in those days, but a traffic
  20. Yeah, I've fantasized about that myself--it's like being a "baby with benefits", you might say. I can wear the actual clothes (and in all likelihood, I'd look cute wearing them, as opposed to how I'd look full-size) while still being able to live the life of an adult when I chose to.
  21. Since I never did answer the OP's question, here goes: no, I don't usually stay in my night diaper (it's often too soaked).
