nites
Which tapes do you tape on first? Do you tape up the top tapes first and then the bottoms? Or do you do the bottoms and then the tops? Or any other way? Link to comment

2sail2
It kind of doesn't matter, I put holes in and use undergarment straps. Link to comment
willnotwill
I used to do the tops, but now I do the bottoms. Link to comment
diaperpt
I always do the bottoms first. Link to comment
rusty pins
I always put my diapers on standing up, and I never use a wall behind me to help. Link to comment
lilme`
Wow, am I the only one who does the top tapes first? lol. I always have. Even when I bought my first pack of adult diapers it recommended to do the bottom tapes first, but I've always found it easier to put on and place just right, if you do the top tapes first. Dubious
Bottom tape first while sitting then top tape laying down Link to comment
BabyTara
Bottom first. I always pull them up at an angle to sorta "cup" my butt cheeks. Link to comment
Walesiswet
Bottom tapes first lying down. Both bottom and tops at a slight angle to help make a secure fit around bum and waist. One interesting thing i did find out through experience is with the euron nappies especially, if you fold them as directed on many videos and instructions before your put them on they can split down the middle. Now I just lay down and pull the nappy up and put my legs nearly together before doing up the tapes Link to comment
Bettypooh
Another 'stander' here, but even laying down I do the top first. Once you know where to put the tape it centers things well and holds the diaper up while you fasten the lower tapes. Link to comment
BabyTara
I stand to put on my diapers, too, if that's relevant. Link to comment
DiapermanAl
Bottom tapes here too. Link to comment
thickdiaperedbaby
Most manufacturers recommend that you tape bottom tapes first for the reasons that have already been listed here. When I was a "novice," I always tape the top first, but I've since taped bottom first. I haven't tried the Abena cross-taping method yet, but have been meaning to. Link to comment

dldave86
I use abuniverse and there is only one tape on each side. But with cloth I pin bottom up. With normal disposable I always do bottom first. Link to comment
