Then you should try cloths diapers. They have a wetter feeling than modern days´ disposables. In don´t have problems peing while driving, although I take a chance at every traffic light or traffic jam.

I once drove up to Manchester wearing Abena Super. When I stopped at a service area I got a big surprise in that I didn't know I had pee'ed that much into a diaper.

I used to not be able to pee while driving but now I can. I have to go bad enough to go. I am thinking next time I go on a long road trip, wear two diapers so I it can hold more and I wouldn't have to change as much. I have had to change before when I go on long road trips. I just relax my muscles and I go and it feels good.

As a child Mom asked all us kids to wear "just in case" diapers on trips and special events so changes instead of potty breaks could be coordinated. I did my best to hold back wetting as long as possible. When time came for a change Mom did not comment about the wetness of my diaper.

When I lost my day bladder control at 21 of course I wet as much when riding on a bus, subway, car or plane as I would moving around. I did not try to find exceptionally thick diapers because I still wanted a change every 6 hours or less while I was awake, as much because of my sweat as urine. It was up to me to learn to change my disposable in a vibrating airplane or bus lav. That is part of being incontinent.

A few years ago I drove my truck from NJ down to West Virginia in diapers, on the suggestion of a DL friend. THAT was a great suggestion and I thank him...it changed my attitude about diaper use. As a diaper lover, I've always had the strong yearning to be in and use diapers without exerting any control. It's taken decades for me (I'm 47 and this isn't my first marriage) to get to the point now where I am completely free to enjoy my diapers. This trip was an important milestone for me.

I was to deliver furniture down to a friends house (overnight mind you) and return the next day. This was as a favor and I had to get back asap so it was sort of a marathon run, down to W Va and back to North NJ. So I brought along Some thick Abenas and wore panties and pantyhose also, under my bluejeans. It took 10 hours down, slept for 4 hours while there, and 10 hours to return. I used three diapers total, changed once on the way down, just before I got there, truckers overnight rest stop. I changed again on the return trip (Truck stop in Northern Virginia, got gas) and Only changed the last diaper after having gotten home, eaten dinner, and gotten ready for bed.

The best part were the several stops down and back to get diesel fuel. I was peeing myself in line for the cashiers, and pooped once while filling my truck with fuel. It was fun waddling in and out of the well lit 24 hour gas stations in a fully loaded adult diaper (under my jeans.) Since my truck has vinyl seats, the poopy smell doesn't hang around very long. I was nice and comfy and relatively stress-free wetting and messing my diapers in a long-distance semi-public situation and totally enjoying my diapers! Now I wear everyday and whenever I'm not at work or in company of anyone who knows me very well. I typically use Depends with a Boost doubler under control panties under relaxed fit bluejeans to keep it inconspicuous - and it works for me. My wife knows how much I like it and she handles it well, to the point where she teases me like I like it and makes sure I have enough diapers around. I love her...

Back to the driving experience:

Now, when going on a long trip, especially with my wife along, I also wear plastic panties (to avoid pee and poop leakage and stinky smells) and use bed/chair pads (helps me feel babyish and free to go potty.) If I need to poop, I tell her and try to get to a rest stop so I can poop outside the car, then run in and change my diaper (I sometimes carry it with me openly.) I change in the handicap stall since I need extra room and privacy when the diaper get lowered onto the floor. I get to feel proud, not embarrassed, to be using diapers and I love it.

Now to find others who feel the same way and go on road trips would make for great times!

I made a huge 400 mile trip wearing diapers under my jeans one time. I thought to myself, "Hey, I'm gonna be stuck in here for 7 hours by myself, it'll be fun to wear some diapers on the way there and back." So I did and it was fun I would pull over to rest stops when I had to use the bathroom, pee in the diaper (I couldn't fit in them all the way as they weren't adult diapers), tape them up, put them in the trash, put on a new one, and then head back on my way (time was a major factor so I couldn't stop a lot). It was fun, honestly. Though, I did kinda have the worry of "what if a cop pulls me over?"

It just takes practice. Your body just wants to hold on and you need to untrain it.

I only pee but I pee at any time, even walking and running. It just takes a while to unlearn those muscles.

The only time I don't pee is when I have an erection. I hardly have sex and hardly ever get an erection these days so it isn't an issue. Though I did try viagra a couple of months ago. The erection was great but the moment it was gone, the flood gates opened.

But anyway, to the original point-- I have no problem driving and wetting. Oddly, wetting while walking is a different story. I just can't do it.

I agree with this statement lol, but it is my fifth day of diapers 24/7, I have found that wetting while sitting has become easier (including while driving). I am positive in the next week or so I will have mastered the art of walking while wetting

I was trying it today, but didn't get far. I drove all over town for four hours and couldn't have an "accident". I went to the shoe store and bought shoes, two medical supply stores looking for Tenas (the first one, where I got them before, had them, but not my size; the second store was closed), ended up getting some Attends @ CVS Pharmacy because I was wearing my last diaper and still wanted SOMETHING. This was all about three hours. I kinda had to go, but it wasn't going to happen without standing and forcing the issue. Finally, after my last stop, I put my things in my car, opened the door, stood there for a moment and forced myself to wet & mess my diaper. I sat down on the car seat, felt things squish about a bit, drove home (it wasn't far), put my things away - and now I guess I should change myself. The Icky Part! I need a daddy or a mommy!

i have to stand up to pee. if im sitting down then i have to lift up my butt to pee.

As a girl I am able to pee sitting both with and without any diaper. I suppose oeeing sitting is easier for girls as they are used to it.

Until one gets to a point where they pee without totally thinking about it (basically reflex incontinence) it's all about practice; besides this thread about wetting while driving, there are others about how can I pee while sitting, while laying down, while walking, while sleeping......etc, etc. practice makes perfect just learn to relax and feel comfortable & confident with what you are doing and what you are doing it into.

Stateside, guys don't really have any alternatives either, unless you have a container in the car and a blanket. Just about anything else will get you arrested.

Since I wear diapers and plastic pants most of the time I can wet very easily. What I seem to have trouble with is wetting while driving. I tend to leak.

I can wet while sitting at the computer, laying in bed, standing and walking and very rarely have a problem with leaks. While driving it's 50 - 50. You know, the half-moon, butt cheek circles!

I wear good diapers(Tranquility) and Comco plastic pants and I try to regulate the flow, so if anyone has any thoughts please share.

There have been times when I've had trouble wetting my diaper while driving and times like yesterday when I was driving to buy some more diapers and several times just spontaneously started to pee, almost surprising myself. Peeing while in bed has been a challenge for me from time to time. Once in a while I actually have had to stand up out of bed, while other times its simply a matter of relaxing. I imagine its a function of several factors including your mental state and how much you've got in your bladder.

I use ATTENDS (when I'm not in cloth) and I have leaks once in a while if I wet too many times. Now, I've got to admit that I have the 'old man dribbles' but still I don't have too much trouble until I've wet at least a couple times. I always wear plastic panties over my dipe, but when sitting, it doesn't do a lot of good...yes, the infernal crescents! I suspect plastic bloomer panties might help if you are sitting a lot, but then again, if you are wearing jeans or slacks over them it would depend how the legs of the panties fit. If they ride high, you may still leak.

What's confusing is I don't feel I'm in a different position driving than I am now as I type this. I always wear a baby diaper as a stuffer whenever I wear diapers so nothing changes there either.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to keep practicing until I get it right!!

no big deal wearing while driving. i haven't tried to pee in the car though. i have a hard time peeing infront of other abdls, however i usually just stand up and act like i'm doing something.

I have had many years of experience of wetting & messing while driving as I am behind the wheel for several hours at a time. the longer you practice this, the easier it becomes. I always use a trash bag to cover the seat to take care of any leakage. Also when I poop while driving, the poo almost always forces itself forward up my front creating a sensual feeling.

If I am on a long road trip, I am wearing for sanitary reasons. After a few operations, when I have to go, I have to go.

I don't go out much in a diaper, mostly use them in doors, but today I went out in one.

I don't have any problem relaxing in other situations but the driving situation seem like a no go.

Peeing while sitting down or driving just takes practice. It's no big thing for me anymore.

As for ending up in an accident. I spent years as a paramedic and worked in an ER. No big thing.

I've picked up patients who are wearing diapers and never thought anything about it and nobody

does in the ER either. Run into a few other things as well over time (people in various stages of

undress and a couple of crossdressers)

It was a couple of years ago now but I used to do a six hour trip across the uk and back once a week. This caused a few issues like eating while on the move that seemed to upset my stomach. One time about 8am in the morning stuck in rush hour traffic around a large town I literally had to pull up the 4x4 and trailer onto the embankment and run out to drop a load behind the nearest bush. A horrific thing for a gal to have to do at the best of times let alone when its a runny mess!

After that I decided that wearing a nappy just in-case would be a good idea, also being a DL it added a good bit of fun to the drive. They only really saved me inconvenience or emergency stops a couple of times, I did have difficulty letting go to wee for a bit which is not normally a problem. After a while of relaxing and concentrating on driving, my bladder just decided that in a car was no different than any where else when nappied and just started leak as it does normally when I am nappied. After my nappies had dealt with a stomach upset while driving it was no longer a issue at all. After all if you have a full mess squidging back and fourth in your nappy what does a little water hurt?

For anyone with any interest I did eventually discern what was causing my tummy upsets while driving, it was not just the vibrations of driving along as I thought, I was partaking of sugar free mints and chewing gum while driving, to many sugar free mints make a explosive combination!

I love wearing disposables when I go long distance driving - usually a Tena Super or Maxi with extra large Jockey Y-fronts over the top. This lets me drive for 2-3 hours before I'll stop at a rest stop and check the progress of my diaper.

I usually carry with me 1 or 2 pairs of plastic pants for extra protection if needed. My favorites are the Suprima ones with snap closures on the side; they make it so easy to put on over the top of a wet diaper (no need to get completely out of my pants and shoes).

When the diaper gets so full that my crotch starts to get damp I'll pull over and have a complete change. I've even done this at quiet rest stops on a picnic blanket in the open but usually I use the toilets (disabled ones are great as you can lie down in the cubicle).

Usually I have no problem peeing while I'm driving; the first go might take a little longer but then I can just empty as I need to.

However, sometime I just can't break my seal and I'll go for hours till I'm very uncomfortable but nothing I can do will release the pressure. I know that as soon as I get out of the car and stand up I will flood the entire diaper and run the risk of obvious leaking and bulging.

I had this happen when I was not only about to burst but I was also about to run out of petrol. I pulled into a busy petrol station and as I rushed around to the petrol filler I was aware that the flow of urine was so great that my track pants were bulging as the diaper absorbed the wee but it was also starting to run down my leg. I tried to hide behind ny car door till I'd stopped and then I reached in and grabbed a jacket hold in front of myself so I could walk in and pay. I pretended I was getting my wallet out or something to try and cover what was going on.

Eventually I went to the toilets and had a complete change before hitting the road again.

If you've never tried it, do so; it makes for a far more interesting drive.

It took me a very long time to be comfortable enough to pee while driving, at first I just couldn't let go, but lately as a matter of fact I just got back very wet.

I think it was the worrying about messing up one of my cars, but since then I bought an older car for the winter and with the combination of leather seats and the older car relaxed me enough to wet, I do it in small spurts, once you get the first wetting it go's much easyer.

I tried useing plastic on the seats of my new truck, but my mind just wouldn't let me mess up a new vehicle.
