I have been using diapers now for about 5 years and I would have normally classed myself as being a diaper lover rather than an AB, something like 95 percent DL and 5 percent AB. But lately I have been drawn closer to the AB world and I had gotten this notion of purchasing a NuK5 AB Pacifier, so I did. When I first started to use it the whole experience felt a little weird and a little embarrassing, but the more I used it the more I started to enjoy it! I have now found that I

Was looking through the news on the Telegraph website and I came across pictures of people trying to get into other countries illegal and I seen this picture. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/worldnews/7817733/Bizarre-busts-US-Border-Patrol-pictures-of-the-most-bizarre-attempts-at-smuggling-people-and-drugs.html?image=12 Was that person wearing a diaper? Hard to tell but I guess it would be very useful to wear one in that situation!

I must remember to look out for other diapered people when I'm out, the diapers seem to completely go out of my mind/

Why Can'T They Make An Absorbent Pullup?
moliman87 replied to Backindiapers's topic in Diaper Lovers
I have used the normal type that is shown in the video, the type that you mentioned with the "ditch" is the Special type , I have not tried these yet but I will be ordering them soon! The normal type I found were very good and held about 2 litres without any leaking. I'm in the UK and order mine from http://www.dorset-nursing.co.uk/CategoryTemplate.aspx?catID=1422 I have attached a picture that I have just taken of the standard type that I use as the photo's from some of the websites don't show them too well. (The coke can is for reference to the size of the diaper, when folded it is quite small, and this one is the large one!) -

I have tried the Abri Flex and I think they are very good. They do hold a fair bit for a pull-up, I think you would be surprised how much they can hold. The ones I tried were the larger version and are rated at about 2 litres, which I would say was about right. They are very comfortable as well, they don't have that plastic feel to them as standard diapers do making them feel and smell more babyish. You don't sweat in them at all which makes them great for sleeping in or using them on hot days. The down side that I have found with them is they don't hold in the smell of the pee that great and they are more expensive. -
The insertion was straight forward and there was no pain on removal, I think were I went wrong here was using a catheter that was a little too large. Normally I would use an 18ch or sometimes a 20ch, this was a 22ch. I have used a 22ch once before with no problems but I guess I was unlucky this time!

In the UK you don't need a prescription you can just buy them online. The pain has gone away completely now and so far there has been no other side effects, saying that I think I have learnt my lesson and I'm not going to be using them again!

I have used catheters off and on now for a few years and I have never had any real problems with them. I have used a few sizes from 14ch to a 22ch, and the most problems I have experienced with them is a slight burning sensation when peeing after I have removed it, that was until last night. Last night, Saturday, I decided to get diapered up and to put a catheter in (22ch) and let it drain into the diaper, something I have done a few times before. The insertion went okay and I left the catheter in for about two hours until I started to get bored with it and it was also beginning to become a little uncomfortable so I removed it, the removal also went fine. It wasn’t until later that I needed to pee and went to the bathroom. When I went to pee the pain was bad, the usual burning sensation was replaced with an extremely sharp pain, and it was at this point I noticed there was blood in my urine, something that has only happened a little once before. This went on for the rest of the night, the pain never subsided, I have never experienced this amount of pain before, it was terrible! Even in the morning when I went to the bathroom to was still very sore, not as bad be still painful, it was only until a few hours ago that the pain has virtual gone, still a little burning but no were near as bad. The moral of this post is simple, I’m never going to be using catheters again! Last night was my last time using them. I will just stick to using my diapers, after all they can’t hurt me, can they?

I have ordered twice from Dorset Nursing Supplies, both boxes were plain and discreet although they weren't the strongest of boxes and could have easily (but didn't) get ripped during delivery. Prices are good as well as postage.

Hello there, I'm from N.Ireland, not too many of us on here!

Yep same problem here. It has been down now for two days and before that it was going very slowly. Hope it's back up soon with all the profiles intact.

Hi all, Just looking to know if anyone has ordered from www.youreableshop.co.uk before. Particularly looking to know how discreet their packing is. Thanks!
