  1. Hey,

    How have you been

  2. Not all users listed on the left side of the chat box are list on the right side, is that by design
  3. As I approach my 70s, I think back on the decades that I have been diapered. Having been 24/7 in diapers for over 9 years, wetting has become natural. I wore diapers the last 6.5 years I worked and no one ever said anything. I have been diapered for bed every night since 2008 and am just now starting to wet in my sleep. My day wetting is so natural that I often don't remember it happening. but I usually know that I have to pee. For me, this feeling has never gone away. I enjoy each new diaper I wear like it was the first. Most will never notice our special underwear. I have never had anyone ask me about my diapers and plastic pants. I wish I had the variety of choices to use when I was your age. I also would have liked to have gone 24/7 long before I did. Diapers are a great journey and one I have thoroughly enjoyed.
  4. I like to use baby diapers for boosters. I use Huggies Little Movers Plus that I get at Costco. I like the Huggies because they have little pieces of Velcro on the front of the diapers. I use a size 5 in the back and a size 4 in the front. I place the size 5 and use the tabs to stick to my ATN in the back and the Velcro attaches to the ATN leakguards. Then I place the size 4 in the front, backwards, use the baby diaper tabs to attach to the front of my ATN and the Velcro to the leakguards, overlapping the baby diapers in the center for added absorption. Because I pee frequently and in small amounts I use two of these diaper combos per day at a cost of well less than $3 total. I also always wear plastic pants and this combo works well for me.
  5. I have used ATNs for years with no complaints. I use two Kirkland Brand .baby diapers from Costco (Made by Huggies) for soakers, a size 5 in the back and a size 4 in the front. My cost per diaper change is $1.20 and I can wear one diaper combo for 12 hours and I very rarely ever leak. I always wear plastic pants so if I have a small leak it is caught before it gets to my clothing.
  6. I very rarely ever get diaper rash. If I do, usually Desitin overnight and it is gone. Lately I have had a severe itch that has lasted for several weeks. It gets better, but then it comes back. I tried Desitin, I tried just baby powder, I tried baby lotion, all had some relief, but the itching always came back with a vengeance. I finally soaked a couple of Kleenexes in hydrogen peroxide and applied them to the area. It took two days but the problem appears to be gone. If that ever reoccurs, I may have found a very inexpensive solution.
  7. I have run a business. Do you all realize that expenses far outweigh what you think you are worth. How much do I have to make for you to earn $15 dollars an hour to wash dishes or wait tables. Depending upon the business your value is very minimal. All you are is someone to fill a time slot on a schedule and actually hope that you show up to work. You think that you are so valuable, depending upon the business, how much do I have sell to let you make $15 dollars per hour.
  8. I don't remember the exact date, but early January 2021 will be 8 years.
  9. I like the Huggies Little Movers Plus I get from Costco. They have small pieces of velcro on the front that stick to my big diaper and I use the tapes on the back to also help hold it in place. I use a size 5 in the back and a size 4 in the front. This combo allows me to use one set all day and another overnight. I used to buy size 6 but there isn't much size difference and I get so many more diapers for the same amount of money.
  10. It seems that people become comfortable with their choice of diapers and tend to continue their use. I hear so many singing the praises of their premium diapers and still seem to make many changes per day. At $2+ per diaper that adds up to many $$ per week. I have been wearing and using diapers for well over 50 years. I have been 24/7 for the past 7 years and have used Tranquility ATNs, with a baby diaper stuffer, exclusively for the last 20 years, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had a noticeable leak while wearing in public. I also have OAB and UI and pee 20 - 30 times a day. If I have any overflow it is caught in my plastic pants. My cost per week for 24/7 diapers is roughly $15. I can easily afford to spend more per diaper just as I can easily afford to drive a Mercedes or own a 72" TV or live in a half million dollar house, but why? I learned a long time ago not to allow my expenses to rise to meet my income. I am not going to "piss away" the money needed to wear a premium diaper. Years ago I had a high school senior working for me who said he wished he had everything that I had. I told the young man to live another 40 years and maybe he would.
  11. I hope it works out. I like the size 5 because I get 150 diapers as opposed to the 120 with size 6 for the same price. And the size difference is not an issue. With this combo I don't see the need to spend $3+ per diaper for an ABDL style. I was a 1950s baby and diapers were white and plastic pants covered diapers. I even use baby diaper pins to help keep my diapers secure.
  12. I have also used ATNs for years. In fact, I have just passed the 7 year mark of 24/7. I have never tried a more expensive diaper because I don't need to. I get my diapers from a place called Diaperbuys for less than $75 per case. Each diaper I wear I couple with a Huggies Little Mover size 5 so each combination has a cost of about $1. I change twice a day. If you wear diapers leaks will happen, they just do. I always wear plastic pants to help contain those leaks. Some think they are not necessary with disposables but I have found them to be invaluable.
  13. I have used a cpap for years and was recently fitted for a mask that only goes over my nose. I also have a headboard for my bed so I run the hose behind the headboard and drape it over the top. The hose attaches to the front of the mask and swivels, so with it coming over the top of the headboard it is always pointing up. It also has the flexibility to move so I am not restrained by the hose as I move around in bed. This combo should give you easy use of a pacie.
  14. If you know what a soda jerk is. If you remember drug stores with food service counters.
  15. And what are schools teaching kids these days. They can't spell, they can't write properly. Those who complain are called grammar nazis. Poor teachers can't be fired. They teach re-written history. Misbehaving kids can't be disciplined. There has been 40 years of garbage in and garbage out. They are being taught that capitalism is bad and the United States is bad. How many kids today even know the pledge of allegiance. They are dumbing down the greatest country on Earth.
  16. you remember using real silver coins as every day currency.
  17. Just yesterday, as I was changing from my night diapers, I was thinking how sometime in the next several days, I don't remember the exact day, I will reach 7 years of 24/7. All of these posts reminded me of the different thoughts I have had during this time. When this started I was still working full time. My job was time sensitive and I had been wearing diapers at night for the three years prior. My bladder was weakening and my job took me all over the metro area and I'd often be in areas where I was not familiar where "facilities" might be located. I had been diagnosed with OAB and UI my frequency need was increasingly short. One day I had to stop on the side of a road... . I ended up wetting my pants a little. Luckily I was wearing black pants so my accident didn't really show but from then on I wore diapers and plastic pants. A little back story. I have been a DL since I was a teen in the 60s. I've told how I have most likely wanted to be in diapers since I was 4. I was 13 when I wore real cloth baby diapers and struggled into a pair of plastic pants. I imagine many of us remember the first time we wet in diapers after infancy. And for the past 50+ years I have continued to enjoy wearing diapers and plastic pants. I think I always knew at some point I would want to go 24/7. I have never been uncomfortable wearing diapers. And unlike some who think continuous wear would get "old" I have never felt that way. I do recall at the 3 week mark of wearing 24/7 I wondered if this was something that i wanted to continue. Then I remembered my near disaster on the side of the road and finished my diapering. Where I live we have an ever changing climate and temperature extremes that range from +100F and high humidity to -30F and severe wind chills. I have never been bothered by weather being 24/7. I never tire of wearing diapers. Each diaper change is as refreshing as the one before it. But here is the key - 24/7 diapers work for me!! If they work for you, fine. If not, also fine. Find your balance. Even though I choose to wear all the time I don't feel that diapers control me. I enjoy wearing diapers and feel fortunate to have this community to express these feelings. When I was that 13 year old, pinning on diapers and squeezing into plastic pants, we had no support whatsoever. So to @ThomasinWVa I agree, but then, I don't like peanut butter.
  18. If you can remember the wind-up teeth that used to clatter across the table.
  19. May we all see clearly in 2020?
  20. I like to use baby diaper pins for extra security through the tapes of my diapers. Will this cause extra problems?
