  1. For me, it was a result of medication. The benefits outweighed the risk and now I have an overactive bladder with urge incontinence.
  2. I wear a NorthShore pull-up to work and *try* to make it to the bathroom as frequently as possible. I usually change my pull-up at lunch though to avoid having a leak.
  3. I have already had to get up to use the bathroom a couple times a night for years. I’m increasing my water intake and each time I woke up last night I reminded myself that I’m a bed wetter now and it’s okay to wet in bed. I woke up a few times and was able wet and go back to bed pretty easily. I’m hoping that by continuing to remind myself that I’m wearing diapers to bed because I really NEED them that it will continue to get easier and eventually become second nature. My partner is very supportive too. This morning they patted my diaper and told me I was a good girl for staying in bed all night. The positive reinforcement is going to help too I’m sure. I’m not in a rush to make bedwetting happen swiftly, just going to take my time and hopefully get to that sweet spot of wetting without waking.
  4. It was an overactive bladder that lead me to being in pull-ups/diapers 24/7 for the last 7ish months. For the most part, it has been great. I still have a small degree of bladder control but it definitely takes effort to stay dry! I think what was really helpful to me was when someone pointed out that OAB is in fact a form of incontinence, so there is no shame in managing with diapers. So far I haven’t had any issues with #2. Reminding myself that I’m an incontinent person who is sometimes dry vs a continent person who is sometimes wet was also helpful. Ultimately it’s up to what feels comfortable and right to you! But it is sooo manageable if you decide to go that route.
  5. Well, I officially hit the “auto-ship” button for my monthly pull-up and diaper order ? there is something about having an automatic shipment of diapers that feels good! Knowing I need to them stocked up or else I’ll end up with wet panties eventually. I’m also resolving to start my journey into being a nightly bed wetter this week! I’ve fantasized about it for YEARS and I’m ready to commit to it now! Exciting things coming my way ?
  6. Update: It’s been about 10 months of taking the medication that is causing my issues. About 7ish months of using some sort of protection (pull-ups or diapers) 24/7. I have attended a few events without diapers and was able to successfully keep myself dry (only because I had easy access to a bathroom). I found a better pull-up for work that hasn’t leaked on me yet ? I’ve gotten over my fear of changing my pull-ups at work. I typically do one change at lunch time. Then when I get home I’ve been changing into a megamax for the evening, changing once before bed or if I have to have a bm. I’m at a spot with my bladder control that I could potentially regain where I was before but it feels so much nicer to be where I’m at now. To be honest, I’m really considering pursuing my goal of becoming a bed wetter. Thank you all for your encouragement!
  7. I’ve been wearing pretty much 24/7 (either pull-ups or diapers). When I’m in a pull-up, it’s not much different than underwear, until I wet of course. Diapers occasionally make me feel kind of sweaty and gross but I enjoy wearing them when the time is right. Some days I only wear pull-ups and still try to use the bathroom. Some days I wear diapers and give up on the toilet. It all depends on how I’m feeling and whatever I have going on that day.
  8. It’s definitely less time than using the bathroom for me. If I wasn’t in diapers in the evening I’d be in the bathroom every 30-60 minutes. ?
  9. Haven’t mentioned it to my doctor. Sometimes I think I should mention my overactive bladder symptoms but I know they would want me to try to treat it and not rely on diapers. Talking about wetting yourself is already a bit of an awkward topic, telling them that I’m okay with managing it with diapers sounds even worse ?
  10. I never even thought to rub the tapes in ?‍♀️
  11. A onesie with a skirt over it is my favorite. Looks like a big girl outfit until you look under the skirt ? crop tops and shorts with the diaper peeking out of the waistband is another one of my favorites around the house!
  12. I totally understand all these feelings. I’ve wanted to become a bed wetter for years. After some medical issues I have found myself with a very overactive bladder. Instead of trying to remain in control I decided to give in. For about 7 months now I’ve been going just about 24/7 with either pull-ups or diapers. There are some days I don’t even try to make it to the bathroom, just wetting myself all day. Days like that often feel amazing, not trying to hold my urine at all feels..right in a way. But I feel a lot of guilt sometimes too. Like I shouldn’t be enjoying this. Thankfully I have a supportive partner. Thats definitely helpful. I say if you really want it, go for it! There are plenty of incontinent people in those types of positions you mentioned wanting. The only person who will know that you’re wearing diapers by choice is you. As I’ve been told, most people don’t even notice you’re diapered at all if you don’t make it obvious.
  13. I’m really into the bratty side of ageplay, like young teens. Old enough to do some of the things I like and waaaaay too old for diapers. But still needing diapers. Being denied a pull-up and having to wet my panties. Trying to hide wet pull-ups. Being shamed and teased about needing diapers. Getting spanked before being diapered up. Being told I can’t take my diaper off or can’t have a change because I shouldn’t be wet so soon. Humiliation paired with caretaking is the biggest part of my kink.
  14. Update: It’s been about 10 months of taking the medication that is causing my issues. About 7ish months of using some sort of protection (pull-ups or diapers) 24/7. I have attended a few events without diapers and was able to successfully keep myself dry (only because I had easy access to a bathroom). A family member commented on my constant bathroom use and I did mention being on a medication that was causing frequent urination. So idk I guess if they found out about the diapers it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise. I’m finding that I feel much more comfortable in a pull-up than in regular panties. It takes a lot of concentration to keep myself dry. I gathered up the courage to wear a megamax diaper last month to go holiday shopping. It was nerve wracking but nice to not worry about using the toilet at all while out and about. No nighttime issues (other than waking up to wet or try to use the bathroom a couple times a night) so far. Although, I still fantasize about training myself to become a bedwetter. I would say that I’m feeling pretty good about where I’m at now. Some days are still a struggle, but it is what it is.
