Jeanette64
Hi! I am new here today but have been experimenting with diapers or nappies for several years. I have a big problem with sleeping in them as whenever I try to relax I always wake up in a soaking bed, so how do you make your "package" leakproof? Greetings John64 Link to comment
SunOfSheep
Try other brands of diapers, I ware abena size M even tho a size S fits me fine at night due to the larger size rarely leaks when im in bed. Link to comment
Rachel Emily
Simple answer? I don't. I've come to accept leaks as inevitable, so I try to minimize the damage. First, I use cloth diapers rather than disposable. On my bed, I have two or three Chux pads on top of a cloth diaper lying on top of my bottom sheet--unless I wet very heavily, that works most of the time. I do have problems with my PUL pants weeping liquid a bit, however, and making the top sheet wet by contact. 2 Link to comment
dljim95
Cloth diapers and good fitting plastic or rubber pants always work for me Link to comment
Kaliborio
As someone who didn't wet the bed and now does I have to agree that cloth diapers with plastic pants are the best idea - more coverage, more likely to confine your junk in one place if you're male, much of the time more absorbency. I also have a bed pad. Link to comment
matt4
I sleep in plastic pants over my diaper and I have a bed pad. Link to comment
dlnoir
I wear a cloth diaper over my disposable and a plastic pant of course otherwise the cloth is of no use. This works like a charm. Aside of the fact that is will prevent you from waking up in a soaking wet bed you can also determine the overall thickness of your diaper and I looks very authentic. Link to comment
Baby Brian
You didn't mention what kind of diapers you use, or what position you sleep in. I am a side sleeper, and have found that a disposable diaper on its own (even a good premium one) is almost never enough. I did find that I can add a baby diaper booster and Link to comment
Jeanette64
Lately it has been Tena Slip in large and some boosters from Abena and two pairs of plastic pants over the "package". Link to comment
jesse78
I always use a booster pad and wear plastic pants over my overnight diaper. I also use a bed pad just in case Link to comment
stevewet
I wear tena maxi slips, and plastic pants. I sleep on a kylie and there is a waterproof cover on the bed. I don't worry about inevitable leaks. Link to comment
Midwest Babygirl
I have a mattress cover, but since I'm a side sleeper I just hope that the pressure on my bladder wakes me up in time to at least roll onto my back and not leak everywhere. Link to comment
stevewet
I think some leaks are inevitable and it is just part an parcel of being a bedwetter. Link to comment
wetatnight
get the most absorbent diaper you can afford also baby diapers make good booster pads Link to comment
boobybird89
Absorbency doesn't matter in a disposable. Like others mentioned, if your a side sleeper disposables are much more susceptible to leaks. I find that a properly fitting cloth diaper with a booster gets me through most nights. Link to comment
stevewet
I wear tena maxi slips and plastic pants and only occasionally leak at night Link to comment
Craisler
The only effective solution I've found is to wear a cloth diaper and waterproof pants at night. Link to comment
Mywaynow
I wear disposables, Tenna Ultima, which are excellent for daytime use, but overnight I add a double thickness Tery Toweling Pant and Plastic Pants. That deals with sideways leaks as well as if I have too much for the disposable to deal with, most days both are wet but occasionally it's only the disposable. Link to comment
Rachel Emily
I don't think I mentioned this before, but I'm a side sleeper. Link to comment

mahleedl
I'll add another vote for cloth over disposables. Link to comment
PlstkBakdnghtnday
I point my piece straight down and sleep on my back. That way it all runs down the back of the diaper into the large absorbant area. Still leaks once in a while though and I haven't found anything that works at all when I sleep on my side Link to comment
