Driving: how many hands on the wheel? one or two?

I drive with one hand and then with both when making turns.

50/50 mix of two-hand or one and gear shift (auto trans, just a comfortable place to rest a hand.)

Depends on the car I'm in,on some cars I do keep both hands on the wheel because it is more comfortable to drive that car that way.

On my old corvette I like to keep one hand on the shifter most of the time, the new one is nicer to drive with both hands on the wheel.

I drive a pretty big truck I inherited so both. Left hand comes off for blinkers, wipers, lights, windows. Right hand for cruise control, grabbing drink and to restart my "road" playlist.

1. I have steering knob on my big truck and my pickup. I find I have better control over my steering not to mention my big truck has a terrible turning ratio.

Mixture of Both, Depends on how I feel

Especially if I'm making lots of maneuvers I keep both hands on the wheel -- the only exception is if I'm driving on the highway and the trip is fairly uneventful.
