It sounds like there might be a short. Try with a non-amazon charging cable to see if it's just the charger, you can probably get one at Best Buy, Micro Center, or stores like that. If it doesn't work, I'd recomend just getting a new machine and see if you can salvage the RAM, CPU, GPU, and/or hard drive as some of those may still work and can be repurposed in building your own computer (if you want, it's not as hard as you'd think), or sell them (if going this route please bring them to a repair shop to determine if any are dead. Also if you had anything really important saved to your hard drive you can usually get your data recovered.) Unless you need or prefer a latop, I'd recommend a desktop instead. They're usually easier to deal with when things happen unexpectedly. TLDR: It might just be the charging cord. Otherwise you're computer's probably toast. Don't buy tech things on Amazon, they often don't work.

Dollar Tree has those actually. Most other stores charge $10 or so for one because they know people are caught in predicaments like that. Sounds like you need to do away with some of that tech. These problems didn't exist before... This reminds me on a more serious note of how police reform advocates are being murdered in some parts of the US. One would think that people with guns that have authority to shoot people at their descretion should have transparency with the public regarding what they are doing and why. Apparently some legislators/advocate groups think otherwise...

I was thinking more of something like: - side of battery --> resistor --> urine detector --> LEDs --> + side of battery PCBs have a habit of crapping out unexpectedly and aren't very good for the environment but if you already have a bedwetting alarm that contains one your idea might work. I wonder if @Ferixwould be able to make something like that.

I'd think the easiest way to go about this would be to take the padding from several cool alert diapers and add it to your modified diaper. Baking soda/vinegar also become cold when mixed and produce a harmless gas, put this in a sealed bag or balloon and it'll make the diaper inflate. Now what I think would be really cool (no pun intended) is a diaper that lights up. Only problem is chemical glow sticks are thermally sensitive and don't last as long when warm. (This is also why putting them in the freezer makes them last longer.) An LED light up thing of some sort might be more feasable if it were waterproofed but you'd need some way to activate it (or activate it first and then insert it) whereas glow sticks could simply be inserted in the diaper and then "magically" activate upon wearing the diaper. Sorry about all the rambling, this is something I've been interested in as well.

I don't see how blaming a person for having a mental handicap would help anything. The person may have just seen 2 identical items, considered it to be a duplicate and was trying to prevent you from being double charged.

If a diaper comes detached, you can just change into a new one. If a toilet comes detached, it floods your whole bathroom and not just when you're peeing in it.

This isn't about public behavior. If you can't respect people's personal and non-infringing interests, you put yourself at risk for a criminal conviction. Remember that blackmail is considered a crime in many jurisdictions.

Much of this hate likely has to do with the "anti free thinkers" demographic which unfortunately spans across many other demographics to a degree. I've had some of the same things happen and nearly lost my job on more than one occasion. Honestly when it comes to social groups like that, maybe your best bet is to file a complaint with the FCC especially if you have proof that criminal conduct is going on there. Much like how Facebook wasn't under fire until around 2016 when they were found to be facilitating election mismanagement.
