  1. Since a wet diaper expands bulk will increase , a dry diaper will be firmer but eitherway loose fiting pants one size up from your regular size should help hide the bulk of the diaper. (Dark Coloured works best)
  2. It could be a combo of getting use to using your diaper or an increase in loss of control due to your OAB issue either way you are on the path to using your diaper any time any place as you adapt to being diapered. Wearing a diaper you can trust and changing into a fresh diaper more often helps speed up the progress at least it appears that way as I recently I am in a fresh diaper only for a very short time 10 minutes or so before I start to pee again with out warning.
  3. Remember the Moto do no self harm and be careful what you wish for you may get it. That being said using catheters and leg bags 24/7 will shrink your bladder size over time and will put you at risk of UTI’s and incontinence may seem like a great idea but the reality is it is not. Once you get to the point of having little or no control of your bladder theres no going back and night time (Bed Wetting) issues have a nasty habit of turning into day time issues as well. If you have a nap juring the day chances are you will pee while you sleep you can not train your bladder to only release at night. Please rethink your decision incontinence is not a game or something you can turn on and off at will once it starts chances are its a permanent issue. Waring for fun is one thing but trying to cause your self harm (Catheter 24/7) to create a medical issue is a bad idea.
  4. “I don't want incontinence, incontinence will ruin my trips abroad but I can't stop the binge cycle.. and I like simulating incontinence.“ Traveling with incontinence issues makes it a bit more challenging but will not prevent you from traveling or ruin your trip (unless you do not pack enough supplies) . Most airlines will fly a bag of medical supplies for free or you can alway drop ship to your hotel a head of time. You really need to decide quickly if you want to keep continence but like Steve said you may have already crossed a line and have lost some of your control. A trip to the urologist would be a good Idea to make sure all is ok and to help regain any control you have already lost. Reading your last post really looks like you are at the point of becoming incontinent for real and wearing diapers will be a need not a choice. Remember to be careful for what you wish for or simulate you may get it
  5. I agree with Mark you are probably approaching the point of the possibility of needing diapers 24/7 for a real incontinence issue since you are experiencing accidents out of diapers and decreasing hold times (need to pee more often). if you continue on the path you are on wearing and using diapers chances are in a short time it may no longer be an option not to wear. it’s possible you may have already crossed the line for needing diapers at least for a just incase you do not make the bathroom but only time will tell if you want to keep your retention stop wearing and using diapers and try to increase your hold time. If you decide to continue wearing and using diapers you might as well bite the bullet and let nature take its course and loose the rest of you continence as its only a matter of time any ways if you wear 24/7 for long periods of time. This is why urologists do not recommend diapers to deal with bladder issues as remaining continence loss is almost guaranteed I know mine has but I had no real choice but to wear 24/7.
  6. You may need pullups in the near future but for now if sitting to pee and waiting a bit keeps you pants dry then great it will keep you out of diapers for a while longer or permanently if your post pee dribbles do not increase. if you feel you need extra protection for an occasional dribble get realfit for men they look like regular underware and are easy to carry a spare with you incase you need to change into a dry realfit.
  7. Hi 2Sail2 As DL-Boy has already recommended I would upgrade your protection level to a taped diaper like Betterdry or Megamax or a Tykables premium diaper having a bowel accident in public is embarrassing but with the proper diaper and supplies it is easy to manage when out in public. I carry a backpack of supplies in my car at all times and a smaller sling bag that I can take with me into a mall or restaurant
  8. I use clear hockey tape to re enforce my diapers tapes two times around the diaper keeps it snug and secure.
  9. Unfortunately incontinence issues knows no age it can happen any time in life on the good side its one of the easier medical issues to deal with and 99% of the time its caused by non life threatening issues. Sorry you have to deal with it as such a young age
  10. Check out the Tykables Polo Onesie I have ordered 5 so far and they are comfortable and look like a regular Polo shirt no one would know its a onesie. they also have hooded onesies and just plain tee shirt styles one of the design features I like is the snaps are closer to the front so it easy to fasten.
  11. It’s possible you peed with out noticing as it does happen from time to time especially if you are use to wearing and using a diaper but warpiper is probably on the right track of the indicator changing colour due to sweat form a 10 hour stint of being in the same diaper. a quick check of the inside of the diaper would tell you if the padding is still white it sweat and if there any signs of yellow that just means you have joined the club of peeing with out noticing.
  12. Unfortunately bowel issue can start after you have been dealing with bladder issues and diapers for a few years, I am now experiencing multiple bowel accidents a week and seem to be slowly increasing in frequency both my Doctor and Urologist were not surprised or worried its happening. I am glad I am protected when it happens and so far my diaper has contained it but I would never wish for dual incontinence as bowel accidents are just to messy.
  13. Forsite AM/PM are a great diaper I wore them before ai switched to Betterdry diapers that work better for me as a side sleeper, my Dad unfortunately has had to join our incontinence group just over a year and a half ago and he finds the Forsite diapers to work the best for him (he was able to skip the trials and errors of less quality diapers when his issue first started as I had already had to go through it my self) guess that was a good thing
  14. Changing in Public is all part of dealing with diapers 24/7 it gets easier over time and you stop worrying about where you change and who is in the bathroom with you, a single bathroom is preferred fir the extra space and privacy but any bathroom stall will do.
  15. Bowel skid marks and accidents are common place when you have been diapered for years for a bladder issue, I am now approaching 5 years of being diapered 24/7 for a bladder issue and have been dealing with increasing bowel accidents but skid marks are a daily occurrence for the last year. From what I have read and the fact both my doctor and urologist were not concerned this was now happening leads me to believe bowel issues become common place when dealing with bladder ic issues over time. As your body adapts to being diapered and your sphincter muscles weaken on your bladder often you can become dual incontinent over time its not always the case but it does happen.
  16. I now carry a sling bag, its small and light but can hold 3 Betterdry diapers, my tape and scissors for cutting off my diaper when I use the tape to re enforce the diaper tapes. Its made by Skip-Hop and its a camouflage design in a black colour.
  17. I have gone through 2 of these tests on the first one there was some discomfort when the camera entered the bladder (internal sphincter) but thst only lasted a second or 2 the second test I never felt it entering. keep hydrated but if the urologist uses the same equipment my did he will fill your bladder at the same time he uses the scope. then they will do 2 mini ultrasound tests to see how big your bladder is and if you retain after going pee. The test is quick and easy and nothing to stress about
  18. if you are going to flood your diaper I would recommend getting premium fast absorbing diapers like Betterdry or Northshores Megamax, as diapers work best with smaller releases over an extended time to allow them to absorb and wick. Chances are you will over time get use to using your diaper and will be able to pee in any position and at any time, you may not start to experience unexpected releases but there is always that possibility as your body and subconscious adapts to being diapered and using them for their intended purpose. It is easy to fall into the habit of simply using your diaper after all thats why you want to wear 24/7 when you can, thats one of the reasons why urologists do not recommend diapers at first to deal mild incontinence issues.
  19. For me my current choice BetterDry or Crinklz is close to being perfect it’s comfortable to wear and absorbent and leaks less often then other diapers I have tried but it does not wick well due to the higher amount of SAP.
  20. Its been almost 5 years for me being diapered 24/7 I have no regrets choosing diapers over meds or a catheter with a collection bag it took a bit of time to get use to being diapered and having to change in public washrooms but now its a non issue. There are benefits to being diapered no more mad dash’s to try to make it to the bathroom in time only to find out its in use or closed for cleaning.
  21. My family knows and most of my Friends it makes life so much easier when you don't have to hide the fact you need to wear a diaper, any one I have told or have found out on their own have been supportive and my wife is very understanding and supportive of my diaper needs for a bladder issue.
  22. unfortunately about 20 minutes ago when I woke up peeing and then a bowel movement started, I guess if it was going to happen Im glad it did while still at home where I could quickly hop in the shower to clean up.
  23. Add me to the growing list of users starting to have bowel issues after years of being diapered 24/7 for a bladder issue, I now have at least 2 unexpected bowel movements they just start with no warning. I let my urologist know and he was not surprised or concerned about the issue neither was my family doctor Im guessing its a semi regular occurrence for people who are IC to develop dual IC over time. Bladder issues are easy to deal with and accept but it was harder to accept the fact I now have bowel issues to contend with I now just head to the bathroom to cleanup and change and Iry not to worry about it.
  24. You should look into a onesie they work great at keeping the diaper in place and hide the diaper when you bend or stretch my new favourite one is the Tykables Polo onesie you would never know its a onesie and is more professional looking then wearing a teeshirt onesie.
  25. agreed premium taped diapers are way better at managing IC issues and you can trust your diaper do its job and changing is a whole lot easier since you can leave your pants and shoes on. my deciding factor was a large flood that my pull-up could not absorb fast enough and it blew up like a balloon and as soon as I moved it leaked and I was standing in a self made puddle been in taped diapers ever since and I can now trust my diaper in any situation.
