I was told to stick with vinyl pants. Rubber pants were going to be expensive and a pain in the butt.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. My lymphoma is becoming problematic so they are probably going to start me on chemotherapy next month. The final determination will be based on an upcoming CT scan.

I use a larger diaper so that there is no compression on Mr. Happy and the twins. I use a cloth rectangular diaper. If I stand up, the diaper droops about an inch and a half below my groin. What works well is probably a matter of preference but I don't like my nuts getting compressed.

How you wash plastic pants and the water used has an effect on their expected useful life. Here in Florida the water is very hard. Florida's water has a high mineral content. After I bought a water softener, I noticed that both diapers and plastic overpants last longer. I also installed a non-detergent washing system. The washwater treatment system cost about 500 bucks but you can omit detergent. The system I am describing is called "wash-it". The "wash-it system" is effective with cold water. The true test of the system is how it handles the extremes: dog shit, cat shit, cat piss, human shit and human piss.

Getting an appointment at Mayo takes time. There are so many people waiting to be seen by some of the greatest doctors in the world. I have lymphoma and I have confidence in my doctor. If my treatment becomes problematic, Mayo is only 30 miles away and they specialize in treating Cancer.

I have been using the Kins pants because they custom make them in my size for less money than other places. I wish they had some with texture on the outside because the plastic sticks to my skin. Many years ago I wore VIP pants and Comco pants. Both VIP and Comco are gone.

I would buy one to try first.

If you are using the Mayo Clinic, it doesn't get any better. Different Mayo hospitals have different specialties but they are all good. Mayo is the only healthcare facility I have see where the come out and ask if anyone has waited for over 30 minutes to see the doctor or get tests results.
