I can’t see 1 diaper 2 people even a giant Megamax would be a bit of horror show and only result in faster diaper change. Diapers have only finite resources to contain wet or mess , 1 mess is borderline 2 is a definite containment fail, the plastic pants would earn there keep, my poo is a regulated soft serve consistency that fills my diaper my GF has lumpy hard stools , I think the mixture of hard formed and very loose/soft would predispose it to leaking. My poo goes wherever it needs to something harder would require more free space and volume adjustments .

Sounds like time to test their sincerity , fill your diaper and sit by then . If they change you I will let them think they are in charge frequently ?

Normal adult catheter is 16-18 FR the 12-14 FR are pediatric catheters . I myself use a 18 FR Coloplast flex Coude . Anytime I am being changed as soon as my diaper is open my aide inserts a 18 FR catheter and takes control manually draining my bladder it stays in until personal care is done or I am rediapered , I drain into a 2000 ML overnight drain bag .that hangs under my bed or wheelchair. my current catheter is hydrophilic and requires no additional lube from package to placement in my urethra . It has a dry grippable retractable sheat so my aide never contacts or contaminates the actual catheter as it’s being inserted and manipulated the sheat retracts ,when it’s being removed the sheath re extends itself . I rarely get erections especially from routine care . Unless your inserting a indwelling catheter you shouldn’t have much soreness , if inserting a foley you want to liberally coat the urethral meatus / tip of your penis frequently with A& D or Vaseline to keep the irritation down . I get cathetered 5 X’s a day and a new catheter is used each time . You can drain into a diaper for short periods but for longer term and avoiding UTIs your better of draining into a closed sterile bag . I can free drain all day into an overnight bag with room to spare , if you are using a smaller leg or body bag your going to need to empty it into the toilet several times a day .

Everything is diaper friendly when it’s your underwear , don’t give the diaper more power over you, rock it like you own it because you do . I haven’t been anywhere undiapered in 30 years .

Since my aides are always with me , sometimes they feel like a spouse ,in any event they have absolute control of diaper changes as I can’t do it , it doesn’t matter how I feel it has to be done and ultimately once you put me on a flat service, you can do anything you want to me because I can’t stop you.

If I don’t have a years worth of coffee on hand ,I feel naked , at least once a year they have buy two get one free , that’s when I load up . I also patrol my local stores well I shop if something is reduced price because it’s best if used before date is coming , from shopping these stores for last 23 years , I know where to look and play “food Tetris “ what I can score for cheap and add to something I was going to cook to add flavor or nutrition . Being flexible sometimes the stars Align like the other day ground beef was on sale along with Ricotta cheese , I hit a best if used buy motherload of fresh lasagna noodles , salsa , pineapple mango pico de gallo , mushrooms and poblano peppers . So I made a buffalo chicken lasagna using stuff already in the house with a tequila citrus coffee cumin cheese, repurposed the lasagna noodles to make pasta empanadas and removed the mushroom stems and stuffed the caps with crab meat and cheese ( the stems get chopped uniform thickness and baked then put into ziplock bags to add to something later by soaking in water . Sometimes getting food on the cheap allows me to make bigger tastier meals and I feed my neighbors ( the oranges I zested and squeezed into my lasagna cheese were extras my neighbor gave me , of course I sent her lasagna . I am the “mad cook” of the neighborhood , I love feeding people , even my mail lady knows what time I eat and that like every crazy cook there will be plenty if she’s hungry . If we are feeling lazy I chuck meat vegetables and potatoes in crock pot with some spices and put it on keep warm . Low and slow builds flavor some people don’t know you can low and slow pasta in crock pot ,even angel hair and rice noodles .

I keep everything I can in stock in kitchen with a duplicate somewhere else in the house some of my cheap emergency favorites are Rice noodle and curry ,ramen , yakisoba ,Knorr pasta sides with a can of tuna , hot dogs with pushcart style onions and mustard, grilled cheese (I am a chili head with about 30 or 40 different hot sauces from mild jalapeños/ chipotle to ghost pepper/,reaper ) you can make a lot of different rice or noodle variations with carrots ,pepper , onions, celery , garlic ginger, mirin any aromatics you have laying around, tequila lime noodles , drunken noodles , I also have an entire storage bin devoted to dried beans , assorted rice,barley, lentils,Coude cous , just soak and cook , have a metric ton of dried fruit I can add from raisins,dates figs, pineapple, coconut , mango , kiwi, papaya . ( sweet and spicy anything works in my mouth ) dried mushroom collection even my “out of food” is pretty elaborate compared to most people . I also am a combat shopper using sales and fresh in season stuff so typically lost of vegetables around can always stir fry , I think more than out of food I suffer from un inspired to create something , I also collect shopper perks that I save and convert to grocery gift cards rainy day emergency fund currently have about $700 in rainy day funds that are just free groceries I have earned from normal monthly food shopping .

Typically on a disposable diaper you need a large anount urine slowly absorbed over a long time , you can’t dump a large volume in a short time and expect it to be contained .

Pretty sure my aide would shoot me if I bought training pants . I am a direct to full on 2 piece diaper user , it would be a hell of a lot more work to put on or takeoff a one piece . She can log roll me when she changes me , not so much in a one piece .

Actually I just read an article about how common it is for people to use counterfeit plates and get away with it , considering most highway cameras have ALPRS and many agencies like state troopers have those cameras mounted on there cars ,you would think the cameras would be “dime dropping “ but they aren’t . You’re first going to need some rock solid test results, scans , functional ability evals and such . Then get a social security disability specialist attorney ( they don’t get paid unless and until they win the case . unfortunately everything about social security disability over the last 20, has been changing to stack the deck in favor of denying you access , from automatic first claim denials to fast tracking your case to there doctors ( who always have an excuse as to why your not disabled ) to regional shortages of admijisteative law judges to here your appeal after being denied and jerk around for many years . If you think I am kidding there is an automatic 2 year wait for Medicare benefits , they mail you a card in advance with an active date 2 years later if your approved , the reality of that is most people by the time they get approved there is no wait , its active . Also bear in mind that anyone you live with who has a job or receives benefits affects your eligibility and benefits ( even if the do not support you in anyway there income or benefits count against you ( that’s why most people with a disability aren’t legally married to a spouse or living together ) two people receiving benefits when there income is combined in most states is $2.00 over the limit of what’s allowed and you have to decide who loses there benefits ? Because of that $2.00 , the system has been being rigged against your ability to collect benefits that you have paid into your entire life .I have been dating my G/F who lives down the street for 15 years , the loss of benefits for either of us would be castrophic so we don’t co habitats or do anything as a couple . She is disability because she has MS . I am on “compassionate disability” because I have an incurable untreatable rare fatal disease , in having the disease you are supposed to get fast track automatic benefits eligibility , don’t make me laugh I had to fight for 6 years to get it . I will say once a ALJ heard the case , he was so pissed off every so called expert social security sent me to lost there medical license for there excuses as to why a dying quad should be making a living . He also said the evidence was clear and compelling I did everything I could to not have to file , so he not only found me disabled and eligible for back pay to when I applied he gave me back pay for 3 years before I even applied , trying to send a message to the bureceats ….sorry to be so negative but that’s my experience with the system .

Bleach an any of those oxygen boosted laundy soap are toxic to the long term health of cloth diapers , if your getting poo stains there is an old saying that still applies “sunlight is natures bleach and disinfectant in one “ hang your diapers inside out on clothes line to dry the sun rays will start breaking those stains up . I have cloth diapers that have been filled with poop 100X’s yet don’t look any different from ones that have only 20 BMs . Sunshine makes huge difference in whiteness and erasing BM stains .

Nearly constant “babbling brook” day and night.I do tend to wet more volume wise When “fudge stripping” which is usually 2X’s a night .

I can safely leave the required adult medical care up to aide , she follows doctors orders for most required tasks to keep me healthy, what I eat is “what I feel like” I go thru sales adds to make a weekly menu then we cook it . she will provide alcohol and semi recreational drugs as needed or requested , I am bathed, medicated,Fed and changed on schedule according to doctors orders and with my needs . I listen to a lot of music and watch movies as I want to , she will wire prewire and route electrodes outside of places I mess so that masturbation can happen anywhere anytime as desired . basically I have full time care , but have the first and last word on things not related to keeping me healthy. Diapers catheters ,bowel movements are all routinely prescribed /controlled/ induced by doctors for me . I don’t have to worry or think about them as they are independent of what I think or want . Not a sports guy so watching games wouldn’t happen here voluntarily .
