  1. I just joined for a random reason. A very thoughtful member of this community alerted me that a less-thoughtful member of this community was using one of my photos without my permission (thanks again). /vent. But it looks like much fun. I have next to nothing on there yet, but my user name is diamondancer.

    East Bay

West Oakland, as of six weeks ago :]
  3. Yesterday's Enterprise. I have a thing for predestination paradoxes.
  4. I really do appreciate your efficiency. I do feel like I get to know you in this medium. Thank you.
  5. Peppermint tea or prescription cough syrup?
  6. Would you rather have 15-foot arms or legs made out of sponges?

    We Vibe

It looks like my stapler. Remarkably so.
  8. I went through a situation like this, as an adult, with my family earlier this year. I don't know know how often it happens, but there are many precedents and very little bureaucratic red tape involved. I was legally obligated to take medication before I had left the hospital on an 72-hour evaluation.
  9. Hit the east side of the LBC on a mission to find a daddy on DD...

    Clowns

For three years in a row, I went to a summer camp for circus arts. I literally attended Clown College.
  11. Ground coffee beans actually absorb odors, in addition to having a strong scent of their own.
  12. I'd say 'no,' but it actually fits the circumstances, stuck in the trunk of a car for possibly some long time.
  13. http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=enema+kit&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=RCAQTODbBpSCNobI9LQM&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CDAQrQQwAA These all work the same way, essentially. Price is somewhat indicative of quality, but if you take good care of them, they'll last a long months or years.
  14. Fleets and other small disposable enemas work on a chemical process that irritates your colon and produces the urge to empty it. Some people respond differently than others to some of the different pre-packaged solutions. I find that using plain, saline, or soapy water in an old-fashioned hot-water bottle or "fountain syringe" works much better. It's a mechanical process that creates pressure as the water slowly fills you. Most enema kits will hold 2 quarts and most adults can take this amount easily- Holding it is another story. The longer you hold the water inside of you, the more efficient the release will be.
  15. Yeah, I don't see where associations of pedophilia factor into this (for once). On the other hand, now I know how to get me some fox-loving. He is rather cute.
  16. I probably use more words here in the course of a day than I might in person. Just as I have a hard time initiating conversation face-to-face, I've had difficulty starting new threads here. I think about if I really have anything to say, and if it will be interesting enough for this community. I should really try more and find out, but I get painfully frustrated when I try to explain something and I am not understood.
  17. There is some very faded distinction between supporting the many different needs of people dealing with mental illness, and enabling or even encouraging behavior that makes some of us feel uncomfortable here. It's worth pointing out because it comes up so often, but I don't think anything can or should be done about it besides making sure people understand that they do affect other members here. I've been "weirded out" from time to time, and it just made me want to contribute more positive content myself instead of the posts that irked me.
  18. Thanks for your donation. I hope you will enjoy it here.

    Enemas?

What Darkfinn said :] Also, emember to use some salt or saline solution if you're taking 4+quarts, or you can kiss your electrolyte balance goodbye. It's like an anti-gravity food coma.
