  1. They had a baby recently I think, so they've probably just been busy
  2. I assure you, you have fans. You're one of my favorite authors.
  3. We still use rectal thermometers in the hospital on patients of all ages every single day, because it is more accurate. There are plenty of other holes in this story, but I would not latch onto just that one.
  4. I wouldn't recommend this. Mag Citrate is hella powerful, and we never actually give it to people in the hospital, just a bottle to go home with. You are going to have cramps and painful diarrhea, and you will be cleaned out. If you are dead set on it, only drink 1/2 the bottle, and I still think that you will regret even that.
  5. I think that it's a sign of the times that people want what they had as children. When I first got into this in my teens, I was looking for pictures of people in disposables, but only found cloth and plastic pants, which is what the previous generation had used. The industry had not yet caught on for those of us who liked disposables yet. When disposables first came out, they were plastic backed, but for the younger generation, they have been cloth backed since the 90s, so it makes sense that the newer generation wants diapers that remind them of what they had. I haven't yet found a non-pull-up that has the flex and sides of cloth backed baby diapers, but I will certainly be excited when I do, even if it isnt what inhad growing up.
  6. Im 37 and I remember He-Man, Voltron, Robotech, etc. I never watched Speed Racer, but I was aware of it. It was syndicated, but that was Saturday morning growing up.
  7. Some of them react to moisture. It's likely that the sweat from being in a waterproof cocoon all day changed the color.
  8. Glad to see you back! Hope you are doing well!
  9. Dont make anything and stick it up your butt. Buy something that is purpose made, or just don't do it. They wont make fun of you to your face in the ER, but they will tell everyone in the back room, all of whom will have a good chuckle on your behalf.
  10. Online IQ tests are typically neither accurate nor scientific. I wouldn't put too much stock in them, personally. Intelligence takes many forms, and everyone has a specialty. You wouldn't want your surgeon balancing your wheels, and you wouldn't want your mechanic to perform open heart surgery. I don't know how to do auto mechanics, but I can assess a patient and figure out what's wrong with them (or what isn't) typically by just talking with them briefly. But Hades help me if I had to fix a transmission. I wouldn't even know where to begin. Bottom line, don't sweat what an IQ test tells you, because A) It's probably fake clickbait and B) it's probably not going to take into account what you are an expert in.
  11. Glad to have you! Also, we added a nonbinary option to the gender section if you want to edit your profile to reflect that. Have a good time here! -piper
  12. i wear a kilt in public often, and have gone out diapered (disposable) underneath. I don't go out in public in cloth, and don't have any desire for locking pants.
  13. Yay! Another wonderful update! Thank you Freswith!
  14. Many of them come from nursing homes, tbh, and pretty much everyone in a nursing home is put in a diaper "just in case" even if they are not incontinent.
  15. It's hard some days though. I had this male patient who came in, and was like, "don't be shocked, but I'm wearing an incontinence pad", and the poor bloke was wearing plastic pants over 2 pullups over 2 poise pads, over a male guard. I was like man, you can get a better product from northshorecare.com and not need all of those layers. I played it off as my father in law needing them, but it kills me the awful diapers that people bring in. Always discreet are ok, but the rest of the store bought stuff is garbage.
  16. Just FYI, the majority of nurses don't care if you are wearing a diaper. We see them in roughly 1/4 to 1/3 of all ER patients. It's not a big shocker to us. The medication she gave you burns, but there are less nerves in the butt and it is more distributed. The arm hurts more, but is more easily accessible.
  17. Dream a little has a ton of content. I like her schtick.
  18. It depends on whether you want foldable diapers that you use with plastic pants or all-in-one (AIO) diapers. If you are going for foldable ones that you pin, I would suggest: https://www.adultclothdiaper.com/. If you are looking for an all in one, my favorite are the Dependeco ones that you can get on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/usr/easy*pul?_trksid=p2047675.l2559. Babykins still has the best selection of plastic pants in my opinion, and their customer service is top notch. https://www.babykins.com/ -piper
  19. I wouldn't, or if I did I'd make sure there was a barrier where the neighbor was blocked from seeing you. If you wouldn't sit out there in just your underwear, you shouldn't do the same thing with a diaper.
  20. I got a set of flannel footed pajamas from pajamacity.com, but that was several years ago. I would check with them, first.
  21. Are you talking about this one? It's on the second page of this forum.
  22. Went back to another Walmart and found them! I feel like I've gotten these as a sample before, and they dont compare to the European versions, but hey, beats depends. On a side note, there is apparently a depend night defense for men which they also had there. That's so new it's not even on their website.
