I don't think meeting the new dean at the end of the chapter is a coincidence. Carly broke the new rules, so she's looking at paddling and demerits.
Since Carly couldn't officially know about this because her cell phone was confiscated and there's an adult eyewitness, Nikki, who will inform Amanda immediately, Amanda will be on a rampage like never before. Cameron and Addy and possibly Aunt Ruth will be just as frantic. This is really gonna be a now-or-never situation for Dr. Shapiro and Dr. Chester.

@Blastoslap:  Ah, someone who gets the cliffhanger.  Except, Amanda got contacted through an emergency video / audio feed through Carly's "contacts", which might get used as part of the proof at a later meeting....

My normal go-to day diapers are plastic backed, crinkly, and bulky. (Northshore Megamax or Amazon Sunkiss Masterpiece in Pink) If anyone has ever seen or heard my diapers, they've never said anyting. I went a size up in pants to accomodate the diaper bulk. Wearing a onesie under your clothing can help prevent diaper sag and help muffle the crinkle a little. I'll wear a onesie under my clothes in the colder months. I wear long sweaters/ hoodies/ cardigans which all help hide thick diapers. In the hot summer months I wear cloth backed disposable diapers for more breathability and discretion though that does mean more frequent diaper changes. In the hot summer months, longer t-shirts or tank tops can help hide diaper bulges.

I guess in general guys' fasion is more restrictive. For girls, loose flowy tops like tunics are great, so are skirts and dresses for hiding diapers. I've worn capri leggings with my diapers and a short dress/ long tank-tunic top. Guys could wear a baggy top like a baggy t-shirt to help hide their diapers? Tykables makes some jeans designed for diaper-wearing with extra room in the crotch specifically for diapers. And kilts! Guys can totally wear a diaper under a kilt! (or skirts, dresses etc. Some say clothes know no gender, so if wearing something more traditionally feminine appeals to someone no matter their gender/sex, I say if you wanna do it go for it!)

Adult Baby Jeans | ABDL Clothing and Age Regressions Outfits – Tykables

I've never tried Tykables jeans, so I can't speak from personal experience. But these might be what someone is looking for so my advice would be to read the reviews and ask around for peops who have bought them etc). Just putting the link here for convenience in case anyone is interested in them.

@Cute_Kitten:  I have one set of Tykables jeans from back when they were still metal snap closure, not the current Velcro   closure.  I assume the current cut is the same.  In my opinion, the Tykables jeans are too low cut.  And they tend to run long in the leg length, so you are left to have to fold the bottom up (like a growing kid in pants you will eventually grow into), instead of being the length properly tailored for your current height.  They are cut for the diaper, but, if you aren't wearing a onesie your diaper (or diaper cover) will probably be exposed at the waste.

    Hey everyone,

I’m looking for good jeans or pants that can help conceal diaper bulge and noise.

I’ve seen these pants called harem pants but they are a little too baggy but I want something that’s high waisted extra roomy in the crotch. And I’d probably go a size up.

Any thoughts? I feel old school pleated trousers could work? Something with a relaxed or baggy fit.

    @Diapersareforlovers:

I buy pants one (or possibly two) sizes larger (in the waist) than what I would wear if I wasn't wearing diapers.  I use a belt, and pull the excess material around the waste to the back.  I buy relaxed fit jeans / pants, and those built for "bigger" folks which leaves sufficient room for my diapers.  I tend to wear (thick) cloth diapers without any comment.

I started on the proton pump inhibitors many years ago, before there were any generics.  I think the 2nd of 3 had just been announced.....  Which of the three has depended on which one was preferred by my medical insurance drug plan.  Now I'm the generic of one of the three.

@DailyDi: See a Urologist - or ask your primary care - about your prostate size....  OK, if 44 is about right, you still a bit young for an enlarged prostate starting to impact this area.  While I do have early onset of BPH, your still a bit younger than my onset.

I've done some diapered work on my pool today. Well, I had shorts on over it. My wife has repeatedly threatened to push me into the pool, just to see how big my butt gets.

@DailyDi, the CFL is already playing - you could watch some riveting Canadian football! It's a bit of a farm league for the NFL - people don't make anywhere near as much money, but a few people from the CFL have played in the NFL, and a few NFL people have played in the CFL. It's a slightly different game - 3 downs, I think the field is a bit wider, you get a point, even if you miss the kick, if it clears the endzone, there are some other differences that someone more football-literate than I am could explain.

@Little Sherri:  CFL field has an extra 10 yards.  (110 yards instead of 100 yards between goal lines).  Not up on the width.  You are reminding me of Warren Moon, who went from collage to CFL, and then eventually to NFL.

    thank you.

@mh5: If my memory is correct, check out angel fluff diaper company, in VA or WV, as they are on at least one veteran hospital list for supplying cloth diapers.  See your VA doctor and have them prescribe. I'm assuming you are setup with the Veteran's Administration hospital for their services.

Last time I flew anywhere, I used my old Army duffel bag. The bottom half was all diapers.

Flying has baggage size limits.  Military probably would have no problem with a duffel bag, but others would need to check the size (and weight).  I'd expect it to be no problem for the train...

    Update:

It went just about as bad as possible...

I wore a Better Dry, a pair of brief underwear over them, loose blue jeans, and button up fishing shirt (fairly long). The diaper was completely visible from all angles with my shirt was pulled up.

The Chattanooga airport is relatively small and not that busy but they have a new full body scanner so everyone has to go through it. I don't fly much so I forgot to take off my belt. That lead to them pulling me aside. The diaper bulge may have been picked up by the scanner as well but it's hard to say.

I took off my belt but the TSA guy went straight into a pat down. He asked if I wanted a private screening. I said no but in hind sight I should've said yes. He felt my butt area first and asked if I was wearing some kind of pad (lifting my shirt as he did this, pretty sure anyone looking could see the diaper). I whispered to him that it was diaper. Then he did the front the same way as the back. After that he went and got a supervisor. He did the same stuff and I had to tell him as well that I was wearing a diaper (for some reason the first guy didn't mention it to him).

The supervisor said the front was okay but he didn't like how the back of the diaper "dropped off". So I was taken to a screening room where they made me pull down my pants and show them the rear of the diaper.

The supervisor asked why I was wearing underwear over it and I told him it was to keep it in place. He then felt the diaper with his glove and took it to testing (idk what type but I assume drugs, explosives, etc. He quickly came back and released me.

It was super embarrassing! From now on I will be putting one on after security.

My flight was Monday morning, I wish I had seen this video first! I think mentioning you're wearing a diaper to them before the scanner is the play. But as I mentioned in my last post, moving forward I will change after security.

@DL232: Yes, once you get asked to go to the back room, they will include a wipe against your skin / clothing and use that for a chemical test - i.e. for explosives.  If you are wearing sun screen, that test may take a bit longer to pass while they match up what they found....

I never had any problem with a dry/clean diaper in the nudovisioin (though I rarely go through those with precheck these days).    I've never pushed it by going through security with a poopy one.

Twice I've had "sort of" issues with my carryon.   Once I had a bag that I had packed my entire stay's worth of disposable diapers in.   Apparently, it was pretty clear on the X-Ray what they were and the operator just winked at me.    Another time, they asked if I had powder in my bag.    I honestly couldn't remember and hoped a thing of baby powder wasn't going to be a problem.   Turns out it was some of my antifungal foot powder.   They said that powders aren't a problem, but they had to make sure it wasn't liquid.

I've had corkscrews taken from me twice on the other hand.

    @willnotwill

I'm not so lucky with the TSA checkpoints.

I tend to carry a bottle of baby powder with me in my hand bag.  The last several times I've gone through security I have had that explicitly outside the hand bag, next to it while xray-ed.  I believe I'm at 100% for brand new bottles getting the explosive / chemical test.  Used bottles, less so, but sometime still checked.

And going through the nude-o-scan with thick cloth diapers (and probably a little sweat) gets me a secondary (pat down) screening (or on rare occasion an un-refusable offer to a side room) for secondary screening.  So color me not impressed with the logic programmed into the nude-o-scan.  With AI, they should be able to do better....  OK, one (minor?) medical issue may also complicate the scan results...

End result, I'm typically holding up two lines -- one while the pat down check gets done, and the second waiting for me to come over to claim my hand bags and then permit them to proceed with the chemical check of the bottle.

And, as a Boy Scout, I've lost more than one closed small jack knife to the check points (including prior to 9/11 changes).  Something about not even thinking about that as a weapon.  Its just a very useful tool.

@ValentinesStuff: I don't know where you picked up that video, and it has been a few years since I've flown (in the US), but the last time I few, the TSA agents didn't even want to hear anything from you until after you flunked the Nude-o-scan machine.  Totally contrary to what this video is claiming.

  11. Do to functionality, I have warn in warm weather while on vacation, including to Disney World, and while working on the house.  OK, the older Tykables that used snap closure and not Velcro will cause you to get secondary screening an Disney World park entrances due to setting off the main metal detector screening.  However, no issue with the hand held wand beeping on the snaps....  I expect Disney knows what I'm wearing, but doesn't say anything.  As things get slightly worse with age, I may need to add a (fuller) diaper bag to the check point inspection...

Like many of us, I enjoy a bottle at times. Being a bit older, I find I often wake up thirsty at night and for years I kept a glass of water on my bedside nightstand. But lately, I've started filling a large bottle (20 fl oz (about 600 ml??)), and just reach for that when I wake in the middle of the night. No getting out of bed, nor turning on a light. Just reach and suckle for a bit.

I may, or may-not be in 'little' space when I wake to take a drink, and I may/ may-not finish it by morning.

I only have water in it, since it obviously sits for several hours, milk or formula would sour. And sometimes the nipple leaks a little as I tip it up, until I have a good suction.

Anyone else prefer a bottle in the middle of the night versus a simple glass? Even when not in 'little space'? Thoughts? Comments?

@widdlemikey As an engineer, I keep an eye out for things that are practical, even if they aren't main stream....

Near my bed I keep a Pura bottle with what they call The Sipper Spout.  It's their kid's non-spill top, which makes it convenient in that the water bottle doesn't spill (at least more than a small drop), and gives good flow even for an adult.  Yes, this company makes an array of interchangeable tops that fit all of their bottle sizes.  Tops ranging from three sizes of vented baby nipples through an adult big mouth sports top.  Bottle sizes currently run from 5 oz to 28 oz.  All tops will fit any bottle....  Ok, they aren't the cheapest....  Have fun....

Going out for walks from home in just a onesie, cargo shorts and a pair of sandals or walking shoes.  And a tightly pinned cloth nappy underneath, of course.  Birdwatching.  Watching the vegetables in the garden growing.  Eating them.  So far we've only had a few radishes, but the first potatoes are coming along well, and there's a lot of blackcurrants and gooseberries this year too.  Drying nappies and onesies on the line in the garden.  Opening the big windows in the living room - they're a whole wall of the room, and the view across the valley is beautiful.  Sitting there, dummy securely in its rightful place, watching nature.

@Stroller: And hopefully avoiding the two eye four legged variety from taking interest in you while on your walks....

@diapered hubbyYour wife might have switched you from disposable diapers to cloth diapers with snap on plastic pants at night because they are less likely to leak. I like to use disposable diapers on someone during the day because they are more convenient to change if someone is away from home.  Cloth diapers and plastic pants might be too bulky and noticeable under clothes for daytime use

@hlcl:  Properly worn, (with proper clothes sizing), I have no problem wearing cloth diapers (with protective pants) under my clothes during the day time -- with no comments / looks / etc.

I was dragged through Myers Briggs by some employer somewhere:  INTJ as I recall which is a bit of a weird one to have it seems.  There were only two our whole country team which made standing in my "group" fairly awkward.

    @oznl

From memory, if I had been there I would have been a third person standing in your group.  Now I know a second person with the INTJ designation.

For me, back when working on my master's degree, the final project was a small team of six working on a facilitated decision conferencing software package.  The sponsors of the project were a bunch of facilitators, who utilized the Myers Briggs test early in the facilitated conferences they led.  As a result, our team of six got a free test with fairly extensive results -- not just the designation, but stats, and info related to each of the designations.  And part of the software we set up included the 20 question Myers Briggs test...  Interpretation of the results were left to the facilitators.

And I'll re-iterate Oznl's comment:  But to @Fleetwoodmac32192 I say "Despair not.  You are far from alone.  There's loads of us parked on that spectrum somewhere and we're awesome!"

I wonder if importers will itemize the tariff impost as a separate line item on their price list (similar to sales taxes - which this effectively is).  I know Amazon floated this idea but then walked it back when somebody in Washington DC threw a tantrum.  I actually thought it was a good idea.

This would at least ensure some transparency around where that money is going and how much prices should drop back by for consumers when this policy next gets reversed.  I wouldn't like to see those dollars just get "baked in" but my cynical commercial mind suspects that is what might happen.

@oznl: That is what Tykables appears to be doing for now.  On select products (at the moment), once you add an item to the cart, a pop up window comes up adding a fee for dealing with the tariffs, and allowing you to decline it, and abort the purchase.  The disadvantage of how the Tykables site is running is you don't know the real cost until you place the item in the cart.

It most certainly is not.  Both of my kids got themselves diagnosed with ASD as young adults.  Both of them (and my beloved) hold me responsible as the genetic source of this “problem”.  Since both kids have university degrees, relationships, careers and nice things, I can’t quite see that “problem”.

Curious, I took a number of on-line tests (realising the shortcomings of such crude tools) but they all showed distinctly positive results.  Could be conformational bias.

Maybe if I’d grown up 30 years later, I would have been diagnosed and I’d have a label for myself.  I guess I could do it today but why?  I worked most of my life in the IT industry where people like me were the norm anyway.

I like the way my brain works.  I *like* it that I can hyper-focus.  I think my brain can get to places other brains can’t.  Ok, so I'm crap at parties.

I like the label "neurodiverse", not because I'm a fan of woke terminology but because I actually think it's a more accurate label.

RFK is again spouting rubbish.  Rather than wasting time on rebutting this rubbish (it doesn't need rebuttal, it will face-plant on its own), I'd be interested in WHY he is spouting it.

Don't mention it to RFK but I've sometimes wondered if there's a link between dysphoria and ASD that might explain the diaper thing...

@oznl:  Glad to see you've taken the available online tests....  Like you, all of them have suggested I should have "further evaluation", and the one where the score can be over 200, claims based on statistical evidence that my score puts me on the spectrum.  It also claims that the highest % of folks by bachelor's degree that scored as on the spectrum were those in Computer Science (at 18% of the sample population of computer science folks)....  Guilty on both parts here.....  So, there is some statistics to back a higher probability of current ASD definition / neurodiversity and a career in the IT industry.

I also tend to agree with "neurodiverse"....

I enjoyed your "crap at parties" line...  I am a very strong introvert.  (And peg the (unscientific for what they were trying to do) Myers Briggs test accordingly.)  Let's see, Myers Briggs claim about 25% of folks are introvert....  (I've been told (by a relative) that NASA engineers tend to peg introvert about 50% of the time on Myers Briggs testing.)  And current CDC ASD school age tests are coming back at above 33 (or 36) % as on the spectrum.....  So, I do believe there is a definite bias towards introvert ==> ASD...  But haven't seen that documented yet.  That 200+ point test felt like a personality test that better matched me than most...

As to the link of ASD / diapers....  well part of the neurodiversity for me includes that I've known since mid elementary school that "how I sense things" is different from "normal"....  And the way I sense things, I believe DOES contribute to how I am comfortable with diapers - despite coming to this place out of need for containment, not from the mental want initially....  The mind is definitely "comfortable" with having to wear diapers...  I have yet to have any doctor comment about how I sense things with a formal diagnosis....  I just have to remind them to not rule things out because I lack feeling (significant or normal) pain....  (I have a very high threshold, or you need to really hit the nerve, not just come close or somewhat close.)

As to RFK, I expect we (the US) will be wasting some additional money on non-scientific "research" areas over the next few years.  : (

If your doctor does notice, it's best not to lie to them so as to not waste their time. You wear diapers for personal and non-medical reasons, since your incontinence isn't caused by any other conditions that they might start trying to diagnose.

If you WANT your doctor to find out, examine your motivations and don't be a creep.

I've wondered if I wouldn't just be better off pointing out that I'm wearing a nappy from the start, although you typically don't get to talk to anyone until after you've been invited to enter the Chamber of Nudity. I'm torn on this, because there have been times where they looked at their screen and said, "Have a nice day", at which point, presumably, they know, unless the AI is just giving them a pass-fail, and in this case, it was either so discerning that it knew I was not the droid they were looking for, or, more likely, it somehow missed that my underpants are an order of magnitude bulkier than most.

@Little Sherri: I've tried to inform before being scanned.  They don't let you.  They aren't interested in your disability card you printed for them until after you fail the scan.

And yes, the AI is just giving them a pass / fail with a highlight of the area of failure.  Next time look back after failing t he scan to see the image they get.  Last time I looked, appropriately yellow in the appropriate area.  <smile>  Ok, it's been a while since my last flight.

Just writing this as a vent. Not to get too political, but RFK Jr. said earlier this week that autistic individuals will "never pay taxes, never hold a job...or never use a toilet unassisted."

I know that this is not true for everyone. While I have a sibling with the mind of a 5 year old with multiple disabilities, he will always need his own care, he needs assistance cleaning up after using the toilet at times.

I manage my needs with pull-ups and changing them independently when I need to, while trying to hold it in for the toilet. I'm able to get a job if my disability needs have accommodations and treated with privacy and respect. I
spent years trying to mask as normal when I felt afraid to ask to go to the restroom or I felt like a bad person trying to use diapers, but being told by school it's not socially acceptable. When I tried speaking about the pain and humiliation I went through from lack of access to supplies, privately in an email to the school board years later as an adult, I did not get any responses.

I was watching a local school board meeting last year when I heard someone mention this quote at the end.

"Knowledge is like underwear. It is useful to have it, but not necessary to show it off"

It felt like my experiences were indirectly mentioned, or it could be completely unrelated.

It made me reflect on my attempts at wearing diapers when I was younger for my comfort and balancing personal responsibility, even though I was punished because I was viewed as "different", I now understand they were trying to teach how actions have consequences. I know now I could have been treated better for a medical condition thats not my fault.

Autism is not an epidemic, we just need to treat each other with kindness.

    @Fleetwoodmac32192

    I can understand your frustration....

The problem with the people who look at the claims of rising number of those diagnosed with Autism, is they don't understand what is behind those numbers.  RFK Jr as an example, still thinks of Autism as it would have been defined in my child hood, only really the ones with the worst of what is currently considered Autism now -- probably levels 2 and 3 in DSM 5.  The current definition of Autism covers a wider range of "uniqueness" / people that are different from normal, including what had been considered Asperger's syndrome and even more that are less impacted by related issues.  People who literally think differently than most folks.  Some are people who with minor accommodations can excel in some areas and be well paid.  However the current definition is a spectrum, a very wide spectrum.

I would have never been diagnosed as Autistic in child hood, yet all the current online tests suggest further evaluation for me.  One test available online claims that my score definitely puts me on the spectrum.  I considered that test more of a personality test that happened to fit me better than most.  That particular test had statistical claims that 18% of those that were studying for what is my bachelor's degree (computer science) are on the spectrum, I'm assuming based on the college student population that they used to get a baseline set of numbers for the test.  (Computer Science majors were the largest group that tested to be on the spectrum.)  So, I believe that if I were to get professionally evaluated today (by newer standards) I would be given the designation.  And I'm at the point in life where I'm about ready to retire - hopefully comfortably.  We shall see how much more Trump screws that up.

Interesting.  I knew that Rearz in Australia were drop-shipped directly out of China (where they are made) as I've chatted with their importer here.  I didn't realise you could "launder" your diapers by pushing them through a second country!

Prior to Trump, for me, items ordered from Canada were likely to not be hit with any tariffs, so we had a relatively free boarder, for items under what Ii believe the term was "de minis".  Kins and RearZ (and their related companies) are based in Canada.  Most of the rest (ABU, Tykables, etc.) are based in the US.  All tend to import their products from China.  Northshore (US based) is the only one with what I would call good disposable diapers manufactured in the US (but with imported supplies), but even most of theirs diapers are imported from China.  For me, ordering from the US folks (for now) makes more sense, as the tariffs will be paid on the wholesale value coming into the states.  For the orders for products delivered from Canada, I would expect to get hit with needing to pay the tariff based on the sale price before being able to receive the delivery.  Its been years since I've see this at this low a level....

If there are any good disposable diapers manufactured in Europe, they will likely have the price advantage in the US for a while.

And where US (and CA)  folks sell abroad, (Australia and Europe), I believe they typically ship to those locations direct from China to avoid extra shipping costs and now also not crossing US boarders.
