    Taking stock of my incontinence

Greg03 Congratulations on the progress you have made in your journey to stay dry. You put in a lot of hard work. Have you would visited a urologist and a physical therapist? They may be able to help you as you work on becoming dry. I would hate to see you throw away the hard work you have put in so far. You may be able to become daytime dry and only need a diaper or pull up for special occasions.
  3. Most college students are on a budget and diapers are expensive. Consider thrift stores. For example, there is a Goodwill near campus. Every Tuesday is student day. We get 20% off with our student ID oo

    Tape Diapers vs Pull-Ups

Huggies pullups and Pampers easy ups are disposable training pants worn by kids who are toilet training. Their purpose is to protect clothing, furniture and floors from the accidents that go along with toilet training. They are designed to be pulled up and down so the child can use the toilet. The message a pull up sends is that the wearer is learning to use the toilet but isn't ready for regular underwear. Adult disposable underwear (Depend, Tena, etc ) is designed for small leaks and dribbles. It is designed to be pulled up and down so the wearer can use the toilet. Adult disposable underwear can also serve as training pants for people who need to re-toilet train after an illness or injury. Tape on diapers are for adults or children who don't want to or can't use the toilet. They are designed to be peed in and changed afterwards. However, if someone was wearing a diaper and they wanted to use the toilet, I would remove the diaper so they could use the toilet.

Does anyone ever get sore from wet diapers?

I like to check the diaper often and change it if it's wet. It's not a good idea to wear a wet diaper for long periods of time. There is a barrier cream I like called Sensicare. It's a combination of zinc oxide and petrolatum. It's a good idea to use a barrier cream if you have to be in a wet diaper for long periods of time like at nighttime. Another thing that helps is diaper free time to allow the skin time to breathe. If you are worried about an accident, put a pad on the furniture.

    Dl'S In Pennsylvania?

    I'm in Pittsburgh
  10. I was working in in a juvenile correctional facility. We had an escape attempt. A news crew was there. I thought, "I hope they find him soon because I really need to pee."
  11. Adult training pants are beneficial for people who have small leaks or dribbles so that an embarrassing wet spot doesn't appear on their pants. They can also be useful for people who want to gain bladder control. Training pants encourage using the potty because they are easier to remove than a diaper. They also provide protection in case of an accident although they aren't as absorbent as a diaper. The cloth trainers feel wet so you pay attention to your body's signals. Plastic pants can be worn over trainers for extra protection.
  12. Mommypro- If necessary get a second or even third opinion from another urologist. Keep trying to retrain yourself. If possible wear goodnites or disposable underwear. It might be too difficult to remove a diaper in time to use the bathroom. You will have accidents during the learning process so try not to be too hard on yourself. Are you waking up wet? Please let us know how you are doing.

    Diaper trained

First of all I would like to congratulate those who have re-potty trained themselves. For those who re-potty trained themselves, how did you do it and how long did it take? For those who want to re-potty train themselves, remember that everyone learns at their own pace. The method that works for one person may not work for another. People have to come up with their own plan. It's best to start slow. Success builds confidence. Although there will be accidents, too many accidents can be discouraging.
