  1. Yes, MegaMax from Northshore are great!! I have used these for many years, they can without a doubt take multiple full bladder releases. They are intended to last quite a while, mileage will vary by user and circumstances but they will last me a good 8 hours or longer depending how many full floods I give it. Glad that you have found an alternate product that works for you.
  2. 1st time I was at a Walgreen's when I first started out on this adventure, I'm nearing the cash register and the wife of a good friend came in and saw me standing there. So she comes up to me and says high and asked me what I was doing there? It's 8pm at night and I quickly said that my father needed some supplies, and I'm quite sure I turned 3 shades of red, but she just turned and said well it's nice seeing you and went on with her shopping. Next time was about 3 months in, and I'm in the middle of changing a wet diaper in my bedroom. The wife walks in and I was very self conscious at that stage, and she asked me if I needed any help. I said no I got it, but was very embarrassed. Now it's no big deal as I walk around the house in just a diaper or a diaper and a tee-shirt at times. But yes those times are still etched in my memory.
  3. Like others have said, it's built into the cost. The business is not loosing money per say, but the profit margin could be a little less. But still making a profit overall.
  4. My first time or two was a similar experience, but since those times it has become much easier. Having some basic essentials makes the cleanup a lot easier. Adult size wipes Latex gloves Detachable shower wand, or hand held shower head. Standing in the tub/shower, use the back of the diaper to wipe away the bulk of it. Use 3 or 4 wipes if needed, roll up gloves and wipes into the diaper. I then bag it up right away x 2. Use your hand held shower to finish the cleanup, takes me 10 to 15 minutes max for everything. Like Rusty Pins says it's only once or twice a month for me as well. It will get better with time and practice.
  5. Like others have stated, fit and ease of use first. Then test the capacity as I would normally do in a given day. Recently I decided to try the InControl BeDry series, and was previously using Northshore products exclusively. I ordered the same size and the BeDry fit a little snug in comparison to the Northshore products I was using. Not necessarily a bad thing just a little smaller, but I have found that it seems to have just as much if not more capacity. And I know that I can push them farther than the Northshore without leaking. So yes after comfort then real world testing is a must (Capacity and time)
  6. I mainly stick to plastic backed taped style, on occasion I will wear a solid color. But no prints with animals or such.
  7. Yes, sometimes the body says (right now!!) and ya gotta go.
  8. $65 for 1GB service. (Fiber optic)
  9. Lot's of great information, thank you for all of the replies.
  10. This one is already available.
  11. Same here BeDry Premium (Day)
  12. About 6:30pm last night, quite a large mess and was able to enjoy my time for an hour or so. Showered and watched some more TV before bed.
  13. I have had this happen quite frequently, If I'm padded no worries. But if not I race to the bathroom and hope I make it, most of the time yes. But sometimes not so much, and then a change of clothes or underwear. As I'm at home normally when this happens it's no big deal.
  14. Thanks again for the helpful advice.
  15. Bedry Night. - High capacity and last for hours on end.
