ChilledDLUK Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 For the first time, I've been brave and worn a diaper whilst out shopping (and on the bus) for presents (nearly that time of year). It's been really comforting and I've hidden the str8up diaper really well under strecy jeans and long teeshirts. As far as I'm aware no one has seen it, if I need to change, my local shopping center has a large designated adult changing area and the gents also have a smaller pad changing area with a hygiene bin. I can't wait to do this again it's been amazing!!! 🤩 4

I wear the dry life super slip diapers my jeans fit fine but the waist bit tight with a belt over my diaper and pul pants. Maybe stretchy elasticated waist jeans might be better for me if i can find them.

Maybe stretchy elasticated waist jeans might be better for me if i can find them. The Str8ups are fine, they're a bit padded out and plastic covered - they do bulk out when you start to use them. However the stretch dark coloured (Grey or black) denim jeans which I buy from Primark's (Also in Asda and possibly elsewhere) fit nicely. When walking, the rubbing of the denim on the legs masked the PVC plastic rustling. I do wear a fabric/canvas belt so I can adjust the tightness of my waist so nothing slides down. Also helps that I wear long slim tee-shirts (I prefer Asda for these), so when I bend over, I have extra rear coverage to hide any showing of the nappy. Those tee-shirts are long on me, if they had buttons at the bottom, they would be a baby grow 😅 Edited October 26, 2024 by ChilledDLUK Gramma correction 1
rusty pins Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I wear diapers out all the time in public when I go out of town running errands or Christmas shopping. A couple times on solo week long vacations I went 24/7 in diapers everywhere. Trest, Betterdry and Abena L4 with plastic pants and shorts on. No one notices. When I go out around my own town in a diaper, it's usually a thinner store brand as I don't want to run into people I know (I have several times while diapered). I believe that people who see you all the time, family, friends and coworkers get to automatically know what you normally look like. If you suddenly look bulky from a diaper they may not pick up on it right away but sub consciously something may nag at them that you don't look quite like you normally do. Eventually that nagging may rise to the surface, and on a conscious level they may look you over and make the connection. That is why I seldom wear thick diapers under my clothes around town, however last week I did wear a Betterdry and plastic pants under my jeans when I went to Walmart. On the other hand, strangers out of town or out of state who don't know you are not familiar on how you look and therefor wouldn't really pick up on the fact you are wearing a thick diaper, even under short legged shorts. I went to museums, tourist attractions and even stood shoulder to shoulder in line for over an hour to ride a roller coaster in my Trest diaper, plastic pants and short legged shorts. No one gave me a second look. Even if they did notice I was wearing diapers, strangers aren't likely to come up to me and say, "I see you are wearing diapers. Why?" Even if they did notice and look at me dressed normally and noticed I had on diapers, why would I care if a stranger I don't know and probably won't ever see again knows I am wearing diapers? For all they know, I have incontinence and need to wear them. 2
Little Sherri Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I remember the first few times I wore a diaper out and about - it really was an event. I remember trying to do the shopping, and barely being able to concentrate, thinking that my diaper might somehow be detectable under my loose jeans and bulky jacket. Fun times. I've been 24/7 for about 5.5 years, so these days, it just doesn't register. I did have to run across the driveway in a cloth diaper and a sweater this morning (hornet emergency), and that got the blood pumping a bit, although I didn't have time to really think about it - I was mostly thinking about the hornets! I live in a quite area a bit outside the city, so I knew the odds of anyone seeing me were low. And I would have risked it anyway, because, hornets. 1
Dubious Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Jeans are perfect to hide diaper. I have thinner pants that I go hiking in, but I don't use those to the store, cause in a well lit store, there is no hiding that I wear a diaper. Never been an issue outside. 1
Kawaharu Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I wear diaper out and about in public and I don't make it an issue. It's normal for me to be diapered around people due to my Incontinence. I just think people who make it an issue have some fetish or kink. 1
ValentinesStuff Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Been wearing out and about for about 35 years, never had anyone confront me. So if anyone notices, they don't say anything. 1
FretaBWet Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 24/7, I wear out every time I leave the house because to not be diapered when out would invite disaster and I've had disaster so I know. I started wearing diapers out in public in the early 1980's and I have never had anyone bring it up even once. I've never been asked about it by a stranger ever. My wife and I belong to a bowling league and I'm diapered in a betterdry M10 every week. Think about everyone behind me watching as I walk, bend and roll the ball in jeans with a diaper. Nobody has ever said a word and I know the padding shows some but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter to me and it doesn't matter to anyone else either. Hugs, Freta 2
Moochie Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I was out and about and wet and about most of the day with my wife in an Aww So Cute diaper with an Attends booster. I just changed, wiped my diaper area and getting ready for the evening with a LivDry Mega Briefs plus with a cloth baby diaper for a booster, 4 drops of baby powder scented oil from Health and Beauty and pink plastic pants from Aww So Cute. Should be a good evening; I may go to bed slightly wet, who knows, but will definitely be up on Sunday morning very wet and hopefully soon thereafter, very messy. 1
Like2bwet Posted January 5 Posted January 5 If I'm not working then I am out and about in my nappy. It depends on what I'm doing, if I'm just going shopping then its usually my terry nappy and plastic pants under my jeans with t-shirt and jumper on, If I have gone out for the day its usually disposables and plastic pants, some times I wear t-shirt onesies to make sure my nappy doesn't make an unscheduled appearance. I have no idea if any has ever seen my nappy but no one has ever said anything, If the do notice and don't like, its not my problem!
diaperguy85 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I like wearing out and about, but haven't in several months. No real reason, going out times don't always line up with diaper times. I usually wear out to the movies, which is really comfy and fun! I normally wear Megamax under Activewear PUL pants, under some sort of cover (usually oversized underwear) under oversized jeans. I have at times worn onesies out, but only during cooler months when I can wear a coat or button up shirt over top.
Crinklz Kat Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Been going out wearing now that cold weather has set in again. Was nice wetting my diaper while I fueled up my truck. 😊
dlnoir Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Like others I have been wearing out and about for well over 27 years, never had anyone whom confronted me or questions were asked. So if anyone notices they do not care. Aside of that what are they supposed to ask in the first place? Seeing someones adult diaper isn't that confirmation enough?
Young1 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I remember my first week going out and about wearing, it was fun but was worried somone could tell, but that went away quickly. It's so nice not having to worry about rushing to a bathroom or something. 2

I'm so glad you have the confidence to wear your potty pants out in public Big Brother!😜🤪 I'm very proud of you!😁♥️🤗 1

It's why I'm glad you have the confidence to wear diapers and not be ashamed of who you are. I'm always comfortable with my adult baby self even out in public and I often go out in just a diaper, onesie with a skirt, dress or pants on. Being diaper trained, I don't have a need for potties because I am not trained to use them and only trained to go in my diapers. I'm only trained to go in my diapers and use my diapers like the baby that I am. I have no need for potties cause that's only for grown-ups, adults and big kids. 2
Sissy baby Jess Posted January 6 Posted January 6 In the past, I regularly wore and used nappies/diapers in public under normal clothes - and sometimes they were very bulky to the point they made me waddle. I don't know if anyone ever clocked me but no-one ever challenged me - even when I had a leak. In my experience 99% of people are just focusing on their daily lives and tasks and ignore strangers. They don't walk around staring at others unless you are clearly dressing in an outlandish way - but even then they will either likely ignore you or be positively curious. If you happen to bump into friends or colleagues when padded, in regular clothes, they won't notice. I've done it hundreds of times. Our friends don't stare at our crotch or try to assess what underwear we have on.
zzyzx Posted January 7 Posted January 7 The only time I've had any one make any comment (in public) toward me concerning my diapers was when I was in a camp ground laundry room folding my (recently) cleaned and dried (cloth) diapers when a lady walked in to start their family's laundry. She made a comment that what I was folding would make good towels, and I may some response like "yes, they could".... before the light dawned on her.... and nothing else was said..... 1

Same here and being an adult baby, I don't think about going to the potty because I am in diapers. It has made my life a whole lot easier and i'm less anxious On top of that I feel safer, comfortable and more relaxed in a diaper. Diapers have become my safe space to deal with the stressful adult world. Even being diapered, has become so normal for me because I see diapers as my shorts and underwear.

I wear diapers permanently, and my adult baby life has been awesome and amazing. 3
