Finding new packages of adult diapers on the roadside, is akin to finding money, for ab/dl’s !
When I was really young, I found a pair of large plastic pants, on the sidewalk near my house. I felt like it was some sort of Godsend. ? ?

With the rise of corona virus in rural areas and people hoarding toilet paper, adult diapers are on a rise my friend.

@amorfraldaJR

You are right:  ever since the start of the pandemic, my life has changed drastically as well.  If I go out, it's in diapers, if I have to go to the restroom, its in diapers, as I am WEARING my potty.  I don't even want to KNOW what the hell I am gonna find in a public restroom, and with COVID-19 being rampant, I choose not to place myself at risk, and that is ONE of the reasons why I went 24/7 in 2020 - The other, was for my comfort, dignity, safety and convenience.  At least I know that I will have a CLEAN bathroom to use, and I can be sure that I am not picking up something from the seats, or the sinks, or the  hand rails/safety rails.  Even my pastor has told us that if we don't have to use the bathrooms in the building, that he advises NOT to, but he also knows that we may have to.

I informed my Doctor, so that he knew my intentions of doing this, because the doctor made my medical records indicate incontinence, so I don't have to deal with the "BS" of having someone say that I need to see a specialist because I have accidents, or because of IBS or CP or Diverticulitis:  I am NOT gonna deal with the incontinence any other way, and I am NOT afraid to use or say that I like, use or enjoy diapers:  It's always been a part of me, and it took the help of a few close friends to get me to that end of the road:  @Evelyn Dellcerroand her wife @Transfusionelle are special as well:  They don't screw around, and they  have been 2 of many supportive people, who I respect to the utmost, because they don't play games:  They WANT it, they GO GIT it - Yessir, your aunts are in a special class: Friends that I will always be thankful for.  There are words I am thinking of, but I can't express them, so they make sense right now, but they are INDEED part of the "Baker Inner Circle" ;)  They are going NOWHERE *HUGS*

Diapers will always be around Jr, the problem is that the QUALITY of the diapers that they call "diapers" is going down hill FAST - They make these things, all cloth, no absorbancy, and they call them "incontinence briefs" or "products" and they have no IDEA what quality is:  They just want you to use the cheapest products available, and that way, they don't have to MAKE anything close to good:  They use stupid guidelines, which don't make sense, and anyone who authorizes these things, does NOT USE them for anything, so they have ZERO idea what they should be able to deal with - would your aunts throw on a Bounty Paper Towel and use it as a diaper?  NO WAY!  So, why do these companies think that what they are authorizing is any better than a colored white paper towel?  The problem, sir, is MONEY, and comfort and convenience and common sense go flying out an open WINDOW - I wish someone would educate the masses (Like say Mr. @NorthShoreAdam)  He KNOWS what a "diaper" is, and makes quality products in both plastic backed and cloth, but he also understands that cheap stuff does NOT cut the mustard - I use his product (Megamax) Daily, so I feel confident in my choice.

I don't know why a bunch of diapers would spill on the side of a highway, but based on the fact that we are in the midst of the "darkest days of" the Pandemic, I DO understand that there would be a marked rise in the use of diapers.  As I said above, it is probably cleaner to either use your own restroom, or to WEAR a clean diaper and use it when out.  However, since EVERYTHING is cloth backed, the absorbancy would be questioned.  That is why, being a 70's baby, I like the plastic backed, because it wicks away the wetness, and keeps you dry, rather than to have a wet paper towel between your legs.  It also can help with odor control.

Now, Lets hope that we can remove some of these ridiculous tarriffs:  Diapers, like Northshore's cost more because they are made overseas, and #45 put them on items coming from China, so I don't know if the "run" on diapers would make them more expensive, but I know that usually, the CONSUMER gets the bean on the bonnet when it comes to taxes

I know that I've certainly started wearing more often when running errands and whatnot because of the pandemic.  A few places around here have closed off their restrooms so it can be a bit of a challenge to find one that's open.  Wearing diapers just makes it easier to deal with.

Attends has been located in NC for a long time.   I thought they were in Greensboro but they seem to be in Raleigh now.

If I'd seen them, I'd have to stop and pick them up.    Adopt-a-highway indeed.

Accident. The manufacturing plant is nearby and someone didn't secure a truck door. They sent out employees to clean the diapers up.

I figured, I was just kidding around.
