Angela Bauer Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) For many years Daily Diapers has discussed many issues involved in giving up or quitting wearing diapers for pleasure. Edited April 26, 2014 by Angela Bauer 9
Nat Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The mother probably thought it was a phase. When parents are willing to give their kids diapers, that doesn't mean they will keep buying them or them. It's like how I thought it was a phase when my husband kept touching me and hugging me when we first met and I was tolerating it and putting up with the discomfort. But he kept on doing it and wouldn't stop so I put my foot down and he thought I changed.
Kaidus Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 It just goes to show that some parents miss the times when their child(ren) was/were truly in the baby years and they themselves miss the attention they got during said years; I however don't have any particularly good or bad memories since I moved from one state/country to another due to my mother serving in the Navy.
babylin Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 If one believes in the axiom "Do No Harm", then by giving diapers to your teen who wants to experiment and explore is as Angela points out " an opportunity to help the child become" using basic non-threatening physical and verbal communication.
Dubious Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Maybe not the same thing, but before i was addicted to PC games, then I learned to stop and now I feel bored of it So, now I'm addicted to the TV, watching series and Movies and barely have time to the PC and other stuff
Nat Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I wonder what my parents would rather have me be obsessed with than diapers back when I was in 6th grade.
Angela Bauer Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 A couple of hours ago a friend sent me a PM asking for a link to WKLD.
drynot Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Having diapers as a fetish was pretty harmless as far as things of this nature go.
Dill_Pickle Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Angela: This link shouldn't be buried in a forum thread that will age away like this. DailyDi, can we put this in a sticky under, say, "Friends and Family"?
Midwest Babygirl Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I suspect my soon-to-be stepson is a DL.
Hookedondiapers Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I never vocalized my diaper desires to my parents.
painterfox Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There's a time and a place for everything kid...and it's called college.
Baby Brian Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I remember asking my mom to let me wear diapers quite often (at least one a year for almost 15 years). Every time she would say no and that it was just a phase I would grow out of. Talk about denial.
turtlepins Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Angela, as usual reading your post is insightful and informative.

Midwest Babygirl Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I was potty trained at two and never really had any problems with bedwetting. However, I have always wanted to wear diapers for as long as I can remember (since about four). I don't remember potty training at all, but my parents started my little sis'er's potty training at about 2 1/2.
widdlemikey Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Only potty training I remember was one time sitting on potty in kitchen.
rosalie.bent Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 This is an important topic and one we often avoid because it talks about children in the context of a behaviour that may or may not have sexual overtones. So the avoidance is understandable but still wrong. 1
Nat Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It's pretty normal for small kids to regress if there is a new baby in the family or if there are baby items around. I did the same thing as a kid and no way was I into this whole thing then. My son ha regressed a little and I get upset when he wets his pants. He was going potty fine and then all of a sudden he is refusing to use it and is wetting his pants. Now he is using the potty fine again. I have caught him lying and sitting in his little sister's crib and I don't make a big deal about it. I did the same thing too at his age. I swear he knows there is a new baby coming while at his age I had no understanding of it no matter how many times my mom showed me her belly and told me there is a baby in there.
rosalie.bent Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 You are saying you 'grew out of it' yet here you are as an AB... 1
