  1. I definitely feel the same. I see myself as a ten year old boy who isn't potty trained and gets babied by his parents at home, but acts mostly normally in public. I like the idea of being an older kid in diapers since it feels cuter and less expected to me, not to mention the semi-humiliating aspect of being diapered at that age. I wasn't potty trained as a child (why do I keep talking about that?), so I think that might also have something to do with it.
  2. I'm not really an ABDL, I'm more of an AKDL (that's Adult Kid Diaper Lover, I guess.) I like acting like a nine year old who wasn't potty trained and is babied at home, but acts normally (besides diapers) in public or at school.
  3. I used to have a plastic sheet, but I lost it at my parent's house a couple years ago.
  4. I wore diapers for my whole childhood, but I started liking them at around nine.
  5. IKR? I don't really wear Pull Ups all that much, but I'm surprised ABU or something like that hasn't made them since a lot of people like that.
  6. Tape diapers all the way. They're cuter, more absorbent, and they fit a lot better. Not to mention that they feel so much more childish than pull-ups.
  7. I definitely prefer printed diapers. They just feel so childish and look so cute, plus it really sells the fact that they're diapers. Wow, those are really cute! Where'd ya get 'em?
  8. I'm more of an ABU guy myself, but I tried these out and loved 'em, not to mention they got me through a whole day in Disneyland.
  9. I chose messy, but I love all three. If I could choose the state of my diaper, it'd be full (wet and messy), since that makes me feel the most childish and by extension, the most comfortable,
  10. I like to have both a wet and messy diaper at the same time, especially when I'm sleeping or napping. If I'm sleeping, I feel like I can rest easier knowing it's all out of my system, and plus, it's just fun sleeping in a full diaper...feels more childish.
  11. Oh, man, I love Disney. If I had to choose what my fave movie is, it'd have to be The Jungle Book, followed by the Toy Story trilogy and The Lion King. And I guess Star Wars, since 2012 was a thing.
  12. I sometimes wear Star Wars briefs as a diaper cover.
  13. My parents just didn't try. They wanted to focus on teaching me how to speak, walk, and other things that potty training became less of a priority. When they did start suggesting using the toilet, I pouted and shook my head since I liked wearing diapers. My parents let me keep wearing diapers to Kindergarten as long as it wasn't an issue, and since a lot of my classmates were pretty open-minded, there weren't any problems. My dad had a lot of trouble getting trained as a kid and he wet the bed until he was eight, so I suppose he might have not wanted me to go through what he did. Thankfully, my classmates were accepting of my lack of toileting skills. Whenever I wet or messed myself, I'd get a hall pass and get changed by the school nurse until I learned to change my own diaper (even though I liked it more when my mom or dad changed me.) When I was ten, my parents offered to potty train me, but I declined since I was so used to diapers at that point.
  14. Hmmm... good question. If it's only animated characters, I would have to choose: Baloo from The Jungle Book. I mean, he's a lovable, huggable barrel of fun, not to mention a good caretaker. I know, it might sound weird, but I'd love it. Plus, who doesn't love a stoner? I can just imagine him tossing me in the air and singing, and halfway through Bare Necessities my face goes white, I stop dancing, and I squat down, concentrating on loading my diaper. Baloo walks over, scratching his chin and checks me, before tossing me over to the changing table, untaping my soiled diaper, wiping my privates down, and spraying me with baby powder. His paws tape my new diaper back in place, holds me by the armpits, and kisses my nose. I know, I'm weird.
  15. I couldn't agree more. Diapers ftw. Diapers are cuter, more absorbent, and more authentic. Pull-ups are good if you're pretending to be a little kid who's really struggling with potty training, or to be discreet, but there are good ways to make normal diapers discreet.
  16. I wear diapers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Done it like that ever since I was born. Wasn't potty trained as a kid, so I never went anywhere other than in my pants. Most of my friends know about it, but they're alright with it. Only two of my coworkers know, since I usually wear a long shirt to work. I keep the full-on ABDL stuff at home, though.
  17. I'd have to agree, it feels so much more like being an actual baby. I wear 24/7 too. I wasn't potty trained as an actual kid, so I've always just gone in my pants when I have to.
  18. Best of luck, pal! Be sure to stop at least an hour after you do your business to change, and if you don't have time to change, put a plastic cover over your seat. If you're not gonna pull into a drive-through or something like that, you might not even have to wear pants, as weird as that sounds.
  19. I'd have to agree with the others, don't tell your family. Unless they're really accepting.
  20. Welcome to DD, Dean! (Giggles) Mommies and Daddies are the lifeblood of some ABDLs. We're so glad you're here.
