  1. I'm interested in your Better Dry experience. They seem to have changed lately but I can't tell exactly what that is. It seems to be less stiff or thinner as it seems like they're leaking more.. It could be I'm peeing more too and just don[t know it. Is there any confirmation of these observations?
  2. Last physical examination had no pants down. I found that odd and asked the doctor why I didn't have to strip. She said "We don't do that anymore."Darn!!!
  3. Thanks for that very helpful advice. Since I buy from InControl fairly often, I'll check there first unless you beat me there.
  4. Why not choose a diaper as normal underwear? Add it to the other underwear offerings. Just because it's called a diaper doesn't always mean you have to treat it that way.
  5. I need a new paci. I would like one that's not orthodontic -- just good old fashioned type. I don't know a good place to go for this. Can you help?
  6. Retrain? What the $$#% does that mean? It seems that you should have control barring other issue.
  7. I am cheap and try to get max mileage out of the BeterDry's. Didn't happen today. Overwhelmed the front and it started leaking around the front of both legs. Back completely dry. Something's happened to these things but I don't know what. They don't seem to work as well as I remember.
  8. Hell no to the boosters and any other crap they come up with. Except for UTI's I don't get sick that often and when I do it goes away fast. Doctor says I'm unusually healthy,
  9. If you're constantly leaking like me, your dick is always exposed to a warm, wet environment which is a breeding ground for bacteria. This is something I'm fighting constantly. Using a booster pad can help by removing/replacing when appropriate. Otherwise it's a constant battle with antibiotic cremes, salisylic acid (which works very well) and antibiotics from the doctor when all else fails. There is no easy answer for this question.
  10. This is grossly indecent but you could just add it to your neighbor's can or let it pile up until they pick it up like they do in the big city. I had a similar experience where the neighbor routinely adds to my pile despite objections. They always have some lame excuse.
  11. Can you be more specific? I started wearing the Aquanauts quit a while ago. I thought it more fitting than the Astronaut print as I'm swimming in pee. BetterDry is my daily driver. I have not noticed any change except for my output which has gone up substantially. Seems to hold the same, but I'm filling it faster. It has 4 pees in it and still has room for more. I feel the need to push it to the point of failure.
  12. Isn't that normal for everything? Reduce size or quantity and charge more? Haven't really noticed any capacity change myself, but that's not saying much. For the first time ever, I completely overwhelmed a Better Dry more than I ever have. It soaked the bed pad and my shirt, but the pad saved the day. The onesie and the pad went immediately into the washer. I never had it this bad and made such a pee mess that I ended up in the shower and hosed down myself as well as my ever present plastics. Wow. I don't know what caused so much pee.
  13. Sometimes you don't have an option and are automatically enrolled when you buy that house. That happened to me and couldn't escape as it's popular in the communist state of Michigan.
  14. I'm curious. I thought Abena's were cheaper than the Northshore's, or is it the supplier's cost differential? I find Better Dry to be an exceptional value, especially from XP Medical. Is that just me or what?
  15. Here's a weird suggestion and works extremely well: Salicylic Acid 2% by Clearasil. The doctor says it's essentially strong soap. It has become my main tool for fighting diaper rash and maintaining healthy skin. It really works well and has replaced all my other lotions and cremes. It's like the best stuff ever and not super expensive.
  16. Exactly right! ANY involuntary loss of ANY amount defines IC/. I've said it hundreds of times: You DON'T need to qualify for IC as it cannot be measured. If you want to be IC, then you are. No pre or post qualifications needed or necessary. Your statement makes it so. Own it and stop obsessing over it.
  17. Since they're Leakmaster, I assume the legs/waist are covered and are 6 mil. Hope I'm wrong.
  18. Have you tried Hippo Sacks? They run $.03USD/bag and can hold 1-2 diapers. They work really well and buy 1000 at a time. Can't get more economical than that. You wouldn't have to buy then again for a couple of years. That might please your other half.
  19. Vinyl/plastic have stopped many a leak which kind of sucks as pee is not a friend of vinyl. It 's like Henry Ford said: You can have any rubber pant you want as long as its vinyl. There is no other kind.
  20. According to XP Medical, my supplier, they're here to stay. Works for me.

    Ugh

In Michigan there is no rent credit. The only thing you get is screwed and you're supposed to like it. Property tax keeps going up so you can pay the left wing teachers to indoctrinate your kids.
  22. Me too. Though, I don't know the difference between vinyl and plastic, although some have made the distinction in the past. So many years later and it's still the same. Vinyl seems to be harder to get now a days. InControl has killed off all but three of their plastics: white, pink, and clear. So sad. I bought a dozen whites. They're pushing PUL. I don't care for PUL... it's just not the same.
  23. Firstly, I did not know that assessing one's underwear choices with others is even a part of the discussion or required in any way. Secondly, relationships are not usually based on one's underwear choices. Should it ever come up, it is something that requires little or no discussion and is passed over with little attention or explanation. Only you care more than they do. So, forget it. Pay it no heed.
