  1. Was raised in cloth (born in early 60's). Then when I first started 'playing' with diapers found where mom had stashed all the old diapers. It wasn't until much later that I was able to get my hands on some disposables, back then they were baby diapers. For some time switched back and forth. Once I got my own place, I did buy a number of cloth diapers as long as disposables, Overtime phased out the cloth diapers. Just a bit too much work/hassle; Washing and wearing out. Now strictly disposables for me.
  2. Happens here too & hate it, also feel that the pee that follows the poop is wasted going into the toilet instead of the diaper. And when I pull my diaper back up never has the same fit as it did when I first taped it on.
  3. You looking for something like this: https://www.weareverincontinence.com/wearever-mens-maximum-absorbency-briefs.html They come in 2 absorbencies & 2 colors; I have the gray max ones and IMO from at a even a short distance it is hard to tell that they are padded good for the gym or Dr's.
  4. Long time Condom Catheter user here. And I hope this post isn't too long. AND don't get me wrong I do prefer wearing-using diapers over using condom catheters but there are times when diapers can be 'difficult' and the CC works better (for me that is). For those who want to give it a them the one important thing is getting the correct size/fit; it was hard for me to admit and actually start buying size small catheters. Also there are many different cath's out there, just like diapers, you got to experiment and find what works best for you. Just some insight to using them, when you pee, unlike with a diaper where you feel the wetness, with the catheter going to the bag you don't, depending where you have your bag placed and fast you are peeing you may feel it filling. Also at night if using a bedside bag it is weird laying there and peeing, you don't feel anything. This maybe where the CC's may not be good, for those who move around a lot while sleeping there could be some good tugging. I don't like sleeping with a leg bag on, to me very uncomfortable You can flood/do a fast full bladder empting while using a cath & bag, they are not just for dribbles (as long as the bag you are using is of the correct capacity). Just like a diaper you can over fill and have "issues". What many have said about blow-outs and the such, I'd say over the years I've had more diaper related leaks than I have had with the condom catheters. Just one reminder to those are thinking about trying: Remember to close the drain valve's after empting!!! And to: You don't have to wear the bag on your calf, it can be worn on the thigh and you can wear Bermuda shorts just fine. I've also adapted a pair of boxers to hold a500ml bag instead of having it strapped to the thigh and wear shorts over that...no problem. Actually have gone swimming with this set-up a few times Also to those who are on the path to incontinence these could help, many Dr's don't recommend the use of condom cath's to men who are trying to regain continence, again because you don't feel yourself going which in turn you don't try and stop the flow. and to the OP, you asked about cost, you can wear a condom cath, some say, up to 48 hrs, I try not to exceed 24. Now a typical cath costs about $1.45 each; The a bag will last up to a month (you do have to clean regularly). Now depending on the diaper you use and how many diapers a day you need, say on avg $1 per diaper and 5 changes a day, do the math. Just some thoughts.............and again don't get me wrong: I still prefer my diapers.
  5. For me it depends on the temperature, in the summer it's usually just a diaper; on a cooler night a onesie tee & for those real cold nights I have a couple of sleeper style -pj's to choose from.
  6. After reading thru this topic and how it got slightly side tracked about peeing the pool, I
  7. You could try the Northshore Air Supreme. I haven't used them long term (prefer plastic backed), used only the samples they have sent me & they seem OK.
  8. If you are referring to Big Tots on EBay, YES, I have, many times. IMO good quality onesies. Delivered in a fairly quick amount of time. Never any problems.
  9. One of my biggest is when after about 20 minutes of taping up a fresh diaper I need to poo. Not a fan of pooping in my diaper (even though it does happen on occasion). I can never get my diaper back on as snug as it was originally.
  10. I'd say I'm a #5, Involuntary Bedwetter here. For "Ease": I wake up wet, not knowing I had wet while sleeping.
  11. I went with DL, but every once and while I get into those moods when my toddler side likes to come out an play.........
  12. 2 days ago, last Wednesday, it was a nice day here in the Poconos (not like today, snowing, 28deg F) so decided to take a walk, It happened just like it did
  13. For me its the Northshore Supremes, especially for when I'm going out. They hold a lot and are quiet...My secondary choice are Dry 24-7, only issue I got with those they do have a crinkle factor.
  14. When getting ready for bed it's usually a Dry24/7 or a Northshore
  15. I'm on the road quite a bit, when staying at a hotel as for leaving my spare
  16. I'll add another vote for XPMedical. Also I like Northshore.
  17. Awhile ago I was in search for jeans for the same reason and came across Woman Within. They have elastic waist jeans that fit great and also give that "toddler"
  18. Now that summer is over (well for some of us) and I should have asked
  19. I too like Babykins, their Polo/"Golf" onesies
  20. For me it all depends on how wet I am in the morning. If my diaper can handle more I'll keep it on, if not I'll change after I get the coffee going.
  21. IMO, this guy Frein is using the diapers as a tool (no different than astronauts using diapers (aka MAGS) for take-off and landings & space walks)
