  1. A week isn't that long. Though when I saw this heading, I thought "Incommunicado" was some quasi-fancily named new ABDL diaper, following in the footsteps of the Bellissimo.
  2. It's part of an entire new campaign to get young adults to dump their parents' plans, by implying they're babies. This isn't the exact commercial, but it's from the campaign, and the heading is a diaper pun. https://www.progressive.com/lp/babyman/ Edit: Actually, it looks like this video was originally uploaded in 2014, but I have seen the one you'd described recently while at my mothers' watching T.V. Maybe they're reviving it, or perhaps just reusing some old spots.
  3. I felt the same way, I wonder how that might have altered her perception, one way or another.
  4. Attack, like many words; has multiple meanings, in this case, it refers to their criticism through mockery. They are implying that the ones needing a safe space are babies, and are dressing as a disparaging caricature, as a means of denigrating their opponent, rather than debating their claim for a need for a safe space. I wouldn't be surprised if they just saw any one of the numerous times Ben Shapiro held up a diaper as a way of criticizing campus liberals, and thought that they'd had themselves an "idea." I, myself, have mixed feelings on the whole safe space issue, but I go about my day; I don't exploit a perceived weakness, and use it to ridicule the people who feel they need it, as a way to feel more powerful.
  5. Oh yeah, I forgot about that article. It's nice that she was receptive to the experience.
  6. I mostly use Molicare "Maxi," I miss the purple "Super Plus," the blue just looks so institutional. I loved the Bambino Bellisimo, and DC Amor when they had the anime girl print, but, really expensive, and DC gave into requests to make their diaper look like every other AB diaper on the planet. ABDL diapers are great as a rare treat, but a bit pricey for frequent wear.
  7. ADD, formerly OCD and annorexia, PTSD, major depression/dysthymia ( "double depression",) allegedly mild autism, a brain injury due to a hypothermic incident, had to relearn to speak, couldn't see facial features, I can now, but have trouble recognizing faces, and had a memory similar to that of an Alzheimer patient. At one point heroin addiction, after a severe spinal injury, which caused blinding pain; but quit cold turkey after finding a good chiropractor. I have an inability to become drowsy, and slept an hour a night in high school, so I took ambien for 20 years, which seemed to prevent me from dreaming. Recently, I've begun experimenting with Wake Induced Lucid Dreams again, which is wondrous, as I've discovered that I can induce a lucid dream, and let go, allowing me to take a back door of sorts into sleep (going into Non-REM from REM, which is the opposite of what is natural,) etc. I've learned a second language to help with the brain injury, and hopefully my new approach to sleep will help further improve my memory. Sometimes I write overly-long posts on message boards though whether or not that's a mental illness is debatable. <----joke.
  8. That's not a protest, it's bullying. They see a weakness, and attack to raise their own status, and hide any indicator of being vulnerable themselves. They're no different thank any other predatory pack animal. These alt-right types tend to live by a "me first, screw everyone else" ethos. It's not surprising that when the leader was thrown under the bus when facing scrutiny. What did she think was going to happen? She was singled out, and torn apart by those hoping to maintain their own status.
  9. Every gym needs a gimmick these days, apparently. A bike seems like an ideal form of exercise when padded, it must make the seat more bearable. I like running, and fencing, which aren't necessarily compatible with wearing.
  10. I'm the last one to make presumptions like this, but she was in a video with herself as a baby, wearing thick plastic disposables, when most would only know about Depend underwear, a video which she herself directed. She's had numerous baby related stage performances, and multiple interviews in which she's mentioned wanting to be an adult baby (seems kind of a you are or aren't thing, but), in 2013 she had this interview with Rolling Stone: She told Rolling Stone: "I know what I'm doing. I know I'm shocking you. When I'm dressed in that teddy bear thing [for the show], I think that's funny. "I had this obsession about this character that's like an adult baby. Like, if you see a baby do that, it's so warped and weird, but there's something creepily hot about it." Right, OK, that makes sense...Oh, sorry, no, IT DOESN'T. We're baffled. And more than a little bit scared. Miley wants us to think she's a "creepily hot" baby? This is starting to sound more wrong than putting salt in your tea.Just in case you're not shocked and horrified enough, Miley really spells it out for us. "When I'm in that teddy bear suit, I'm a creepy, sexy baby." So it could be just a character she thinks is "funny," or that could be a ruse which allows her to be quasi open with it. There's also Melanie Martinez, though I get the impression that her image is controlled by the label as a marketing angle (I could be mistaken about that), while Miley's appears to be her own choosing, but that's simply the impression that I get.
  11. He's worked on 3 other Tim and Eric shows over the last Decade: 1. "Tom Goes to the Mayor" 2. "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!,"(an anti-humor variety sketch show which frequently featured "Channel 5's Only Married News Team: Jan and Wayne Skylar" who were characters in "Tom Goes to the Mayor.") This recurring sketch brought back John C. Reilly in a new role with "Brule's Rules with Dr. Steve Brule," a cut-away segment from Jan and Wayne. 3. John C. Reilly's Dr. Steve Brule received his very own show "Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule." So they've actually worked together on over 55 episodes with each other in the past.
  12. I'd totally buy that the sketch was her idea, and she may have already had the onesie (it's clearly AB clothing and it fits her perfectly), but as the video goes on, it becomes clearer, that it's just a folded piece of cloth underneath,...so, technically a diaper, but not a disposable. It's interesting that these sorts of things keep coming up with her.
  13. Yarg, I will be 37 in Nov. That said, the OPs question, abrasive as it was, raises an interesting point. I've been involved in AB/DL forums since discovering that I wasn't alone, at perhaps 16; and was active on the DPF teen forum, as were many others. And yet, I wonder if we are an aging community, as many of the people here are, somewhat older. I haven't really used other forums (for other interests) in about a decade, so I wonder if this is specific to our community, or if, like chatrooms, forums have merely become "old tech" (as that piece of work at IMDB had claimed before destroying their site). I know social media has taken over most other forms of communication, but our community isn't exactly....well, I'd assume most of us wouldn't want our AB/DL sides revealed to friends and family, thereby having our dirty laundry aired in public. (pun intended). Are we an aging community? Does anyone have a more insightful take on this?
  14. No, that'd be cruel, and hypocritical.
  15. I suppose the good news is that they were samples, not an order. Hopefully they show up.
  16. I'm pretty sure that it's rotated to avoid youtube's copyright protection. I'm not really sure how that works, some automated system. Anyway, this address will rotate it -90 degrees. It can also be used for other rotations, and the more common flipped videos. http://deturl.com/rotate.asp?deg=-90&v=UmwtChiuHD0 Basically, you select the image manipulation type at the top, then paste everything after the "=" in a youtube video at the end of the address at deturl.com. I don't know much about the site, I just happened upon it several months ago, when I was wondering if such a site existed. ::Sigh:: American Dad used to be my favorite show. Before co-creator Mike Barker left, I'd seen every episode around 100 times. I used to binge watch it on the treadmill. I believe they brought in someone from Family Guy, and as a result, it's become less like itself, and more like the latter; fairly random, and at times, nihilistic. I still enjoy many episodes, but they aren't of the same quality that they once were.
  17. I ended up traveling to an area with totality. A small town called Stayton, rather than more crowded cities. I didn't know it was safe to stare at the eclipse in totality, so I merely took several glances. I also didn't know to look for the shadows. I was in a parking lot next to a Safeway. I kind of wish that I'd stopped in one of the fields in the area. They were recently harvested, so they were flat plains, with several giant towers of hay bales stacked throughout. It would have taken on a more mysterious Stonehenge like quality. One thing I noticed was that the lens flare produced in my camera showed the eclipse during its various stages. I tried to take a picture during totality, but it was ineffective.
  18. I could see a hipster buying those. That's hilarious.
  19. Well. If he's AB/DL (which he very likely is,) he probably looks ad AB/DL stuff on the internet, and very well may be aware that people are talking about it.
  20. Even the wobbly legs bit could be an element of regression
