  1. If you want to hide wearing diapers you will need to layer up At the very least you should get a plain onesie (a solid color with no pattern such as a black one) and make sure your pants are big enough to fit good when you are wearing a diaper (such as 1 size bigger than you would usually wear, and if needed you can wear a belt too) It would also help to have a good enough diaper that it will hold for long enough that you won't leak, you can also wear plastic pants between the diaper and onesie to hold off leaks from being apparent in case you may still leak through the diaper. Now that all takes care of the physical part. For the mental part you have to express confidence, act like nothing is out of the ordinary and you have nothing to be ashamed about and what people say/do can no longer bother you.
  2. You should definitely try it so you will know if you like it or not After that, if it feels right, do it (as long as it's not harmful/illegal and diapers aren't either of those things). I feel like being a DL (diaper lover) is all about how good using diapers feels, so you won't really know if you are a DL until you "take the plunge"
  3. My curiosity started around the time that my niece was born as she/her mom would be over often and so would diapers, so I would take a diaper every now and then and used them, loved the feeling and got hooked. Later on I could usually get samples of the L/XL Goodnites and used those; after that (eventually I coiuld barely fit into them with the stretchy tabs that when they rip that's it) I would buy size 6/7 pampers and use 2 sets of tabs and stuff 1 diaper with another; I discovered they could absorb a lot, get very thick, and also hold a sizeable mess. Eventually I had enough spare income to get some great adult diapers and I've had the Chance to try a fair variety, but still some I haven't tried yet and I want to, and some I would try but the costs is way above what the quality could potentially be (for example I don't believe Bambino is better than an ABUniverse Little Pawz/other ABUniverse diapers)
  4. My top recommendation would be the Seni Quatros, I tried dry 24/7 and much prefer the Seni Quatros, the only (potential) negative (depending on tastes) is the Seni Quatros are cloth backed and have a Velcro type grip tab; but they feel good, absorb a lot and just feel amazing wet and the tabs are easy to readjust.
  5. Colored/printed look a lot better, white is only better in terms of pure discrete-ness, but even colored/printed can be hid the same by making sure there's no way part of the diaper could be exposed, but white is just less likely to be questioned as a diaper.
  6. And if not, in what ways would you want it to change? I'm pretty happy even though I'm single and not currently looking for a relationship; but in the future it would be nice to have a girlfriend and maybe eventually wife that is willing to let me be me. All it really takes to make me happy with wearing and using diapers is that I have diapers to use and I don't have to stop (even if the people I live with don't approve and question it)
  7. Would you say that Abena, Molicare, and maybe others have slipped in product quality from what they used to be? I heard about Abena and Molicare changing; which as I understand most of the times when a product changes it goes from being good to being not as good as they used to be. I'm wondering as I loved Abena M4s (which I recall used to be called X-Plus or something like that unless I'm mistaken) and still have a few of them to use at my leisure until i run out of them I also loved the Molicare Super Plus, and ran out of those a while ago. Are they worse then before or just different? Is this an issue with many brands, or just a few (that I'm assuming got bought out by brands that make lower quality diapers)?
  8. Well to put it simply I would be fine with a "don't ask don't tell" kind of thing as that's basically already how it is to me I know she means well and we help each other out financially I also know she may never understand this ABDL lifestyle - Well for me it's less of a lifestyle and more of a convenience that happens to feel good and relieve stress; she should know I've handled my stress a lot worse in the past with self harm and on a couple occasions drinking to the point of blacking out (though at home so I couldn't somehow get in trouble because of it it)
  9. Yes maybe that's it because I know she can be very stubborn.
  10. I have never moved out of home (though i do pay at least the amount of money im asked to towards the bills; sometimes even a couple hundred more) and for a long time my mom has always hated that I like diapers I have never brought up that I like diapers or made it obvious; going to various lengths to hide it as long as I could My room looks like a normal room, I have the diapers hidden, I don't ask for her to give me money for diapers or to buy them; or ask her to baby me But one day she found out and ever since then has expressed her hatred of it and tried to get me to stop (through shame) For a while I thought we were at the stage where I did my thing privately and she didn't say anything, but last time I was wearing and she was around (not intentional, most weekends she is at her boyfriends place in another city so it will be me and my (24 year old) younger brother) she said she doesn't know why I have to use diapers (in a tone that sounds like she is disappointed). I don't know when I will move away from home as I have a good thing going here (the money I need to pay towards bills is a fraction of what living in an apartment would cost and I'm not being asked to give up diapers) and living on my own away from home would costs way too much money. I'm just wondering why the need to question why I use diapers when I hold down a full time job and pay as much or (up to hundreds) more out in bills than I'm asked to, and I'm not asking for anything like money or participation; and will it always be like this? I know I have it good and I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering if this is a stance parents normally have and if it stays this way.
  11. I always hold it in until I can poop in a diaper; the only exception being if I have diarrhea as I don't like loose poop in my diaper and I really can't wait then.
  12. I have progressed as far as I am going to in my current situation since I get plenty of time to use on my weekends and I don't have any desire to wear and use diapers more often. Now if I was living with a Mommy and not single I definitely would be using diapers more often, but I'm content as is for now.
  13. I usually double diaper or use boosters to up the absorption capacity of already good diapers (like an Abena M4 or lately ABU Little Pawz) so that the diaper gets really thick, wet, and heavy and I also love to poop because it doesn't feel like a complete experience otherwise, so it will truly be a full diaper in both senses of the word.
  14. Enjoying diapers really makes my weekend since I don't regularly hang out with friends, but if one of my friends wanted to hang I would do that and just wear/use on my more boring weekend days with no plans.
  15. I hope all turns out well and resolves quickly. Blacking out isn't fun when you honestly don't know why/how it could have happened.
  16. Whenever 18 year olds start working at the company I work at it (probably going to another company after i get in a Vacation in June) always makes me feel old; even though I am 26; nearly 27 (in March) which isn't actually old. But at least this community is made up of people of many ages, so I don't feel old here, but if there is a huge influx of 18 years olds that may change that.
  17. I wouldn't condemn them as a whole company over their blunder of trying to trademark the term ABDL. If you like and buy their products it would be pretty stupid (IMO) not to support them anymore just over 1 bad decision; but again everybody has a right to their own opinion and if anybody does decide to not support them, that's your right.
  18. Their products weren't so good back then compared to now either; I have tried an earlier version of SDKs before the current owners improved their lineup and they are nowhere near as great as their products are now. They are definitely worth the increased price and the shipping charges won't stop most of us from still buying from them.
  19. Sucks but I'm more of a "Weekend Warrior" the majority of my time to enjoy diapers is on the weekend; so I can buy 60 diapers and probably enjoy them for almost the whole year, so extra costs in shipping won't hurt too much.
  20. Im pretty sure its some sort of stomach bug that needs to run its course as im feeling a lot better now; its only 1/2 as bad as yesterday and maybe 10% what it was when it started at 1 AM a few days ago . The only thing i did today which i think helped (or maybe its coincidence) was pooped and took a good long shower and all that good stuff to make me feel super squeaky clean.
  21. Well it has eased up a lot and i can function pretty well, its just a constant medium amount of pain and its worse when pressed on
  22. I dont poop often but usually go a few times on weekends and its never caused me stomach pain like this. Besides the pain i thought i was gonna throw up earlier, but didn't and i had headaches briefly a few times earlier
  23. Ive been suffering from bad stomach pain for over 12 hours, it seems to be easing up, but its still enough to be a bother especially if i press it. Ive been sick many times before, but this is something i haven't experienced before, i normally power through being sick to get my work days done, but i just couldnt with this (ive mostly been drinking ginger ale and getting extra sleep because my sleeping was messed up last night and ive barely ate anything) and thankfully i dont work again until the 2nd so hopefully this has run its course by tommorow so i can enjoy the long weekend off.
  24. Well to put this another way In any market there is cheap, moderately priced (often very good products for the money, maybe not the best out there, but close enough), and theres expensive, and sometimes theres an even more expensive segment So its up for the customer to decide what they can afford or how much do they need to spend to fit their needs In the diaper market i would put this as Depends being the really cheap part of the market Then companies like Abena, Molicare, Seni, and so on would be the moderately priced section with good quality of materials, fit, and absorbency Then you have ABUniverse, Rearz, Tykables, etc for the high priced section, among the best all around on quality of materials, looks, and Absorbency. And then there are a few priced at what i consider a bit too much, but i guess if the main AB/DL diaper companies dont make what you what, maybe paying in the area of up to $2.50- $3.50+ per diaper (depending on company and quantity) is worth it to you I hope this specifies that im not saying all the AB/DL diaper companies are overpriced just certain ones that can only possibly be worth it if the print is one you must have and something not offered by the main AB/DL companies.
  25. Well i think around $2 per diaper is fair for products like ABUniverse Little Pawz or similar (start charging more and its questionable on if the product wilk be worth it in this space of so much competition); yes its a lot compared to the Medical/Incontinence diapers; but most of those arent as good of a product as ABUniverse Diapers and dont tend to look as good. If you go around $3+ thats a bit on the extreme end; especially if the reason is because they dont offer to sell by the case (one company is $35 for 10)
