  1. That is a great question. I wear the same and sometimes I find I have the same issue leaking out the top. I have found quite a few times where if my plastic pants are not just right, the diaper top sticks out a bit. I either leak due to direct spray or more often wicking on the inside sheet to the top (ABUs are horrible for this). This causes me to get a wet spot above the top of my pants on my shirt. I had not thought about it, but a raised area like the leg guard at the top would be awesome. Also if the plastic extended beyond the inside sheet, but that is different. Until then, I always make sure to pull my plastic pants above the diaper for sure. I wear a pair of shaping panties over the diaper and under the pants to help hold up and also absorb small leaks.
  2. I have used the firehose. They do have more room than most, but are low cut so a onesie is required.
  3. I was allowed privacy in the room in PHX and was asked to leave the diaper on the table for examination. They said it showed up due to the SAP/Wetness making it alert as possible plastic explosives. Another time in Reno, I was running late and did not have a spare to change into. I was searched and they were ready to let me go on, when the Director came in. He was very uneducated in handling of this situation. He called the cops over and they all escorted me back out to the counter of the airlines, they called back my bag from the plane, I had to open it and take out a diaper, then let them re-check the bag. The Director escorted me to the bathroom outside of security and left to change. He was waiting on the other side of the screening area after my second run through. The cops seemed really disinterested in the mess this guy was making of the situation and were very polite. I did issue a dispute with the TSA over his handling of it.
  4. MarkSmith - you have valid points. Most of the TSA I have dealt with are very professional and understand the need for a diaper. I have been requested many times for both a visual as well as a change of diaper. Some are better than others. Just hold you ground, keep you head up and understand it is a need you have. If you are confident and not skiddish, this will mean a lot to most trained people. They are looking for those that freak out or act odd. I do carry a TSA card that says I have incontinence. Some get it, some look at me like - what is that word? Most times they get it and just pass me along. You will not be first nor the last more than likely to been seen or asked. Just be confident.
  5. I use all three on a regular basis. The Inspire seem to me to hold the most and are the most bulky. They do not wick well though, so I use a Abena booster that is really good at spreading the load. It is very similar if not the same as the Bambino and ABU all white diapers. I use the three interchangeably based of price when I purchase. The Northshore is a great diaper but very stiff. The padding is not as wide up front where I need it but a solid diaper. It wicks well and has good overall absorbancy. The shell is not as thick as the above, but in the middle I would say The Better Dry is the softest and most pliable of the three. It does not have the absorbancy of the Inspire, but does tend to wick well. It sags more when loaded due to the thinner backing material. All three are good though.
  6. I had a rather long day and even with an ABU diaper with a booster and plastic pants, I found myself with moon beams on my butt. I knew I was past my point of no return but work tied me up beyond where I thought I would be. I had to duck out from dinner with the team hoping no one noticed my wet butt. No one noticed, but I did.
  7. Craisler, You seem to be very much like me. I work on computers and find I have to get up every so often to allow things to flow if I sit too long. I too find that if I am working and deep in thought, I will find later that my diaper is very heavy and ready for a change.
  8. MarkSmith - I am in total agreement with what you wrote. I like my less than adult diapers, but usually opt for the white ones when doing the airport shuffle. I have also had about the same interactions with TSA. When I get stopped now, I always ask for a private screening. Usually, it is not that big of a deal, but does delay me a little.
  9. I donated 50 yesterday, but I do not need a pin thank you.
