  1. Pamperdk, I like your story, it is very well written. if you are still open to story ideas, perhaps Grandma has a surprise for Patrick after his bath... Like many Grandma's perhaps Granny Simone is a fine Seamstress, and has made Patrick and Jack matching little sailor suits. (Navy blue so the brass snap crotch buttons stand out for all to notice. Lol!) Naturally an outing to a public place would be great, perhaps the local Mall for shopping and baby photos at the photo shop. ?
  2. I wonder if Patrick will wake up in the night and wander into the kitchen for some adult food? Surely he'd make a big mess and his Mom would have to get him a bed that would keep him out of trouble at night...??? Great story by the way.
  3. We have a living tree, it's a Norfolk Pine. As in Norfolk New Zealand, there is no way these wispy little office desk trees originate from Norfolk Virginia. It has a small strand of lights delicately woven through it's branches as well as tiny ornaments on its limbs. It is too small to support a star on top, equally it is too small to take up too much room as it sits in the corner of the living room. However it is a real Christmas tree and it lives from year to year. We keep it healthy with an LED grow lamp that we use for other house plants and orchids in the spare bedroom during the rest of year. Each year we move it to the living room to celebrate Christmas, each year getting bigger and supporting more ornaments. It is a real Christmas tree that we don't have to feel guilty about cutting down only to toss out to the compost pile or dump. Granted there are many things in all of our lives that suffer a disposable use but this doesn't have to be one of them. Hope this helps and gives ideas for a brighter holiday season.
  4. I like this story so much that I feel compelled to sign in and comment. Since suggestions are welcomed, I put forth that the early bed time will be disagreeable to Patrick and he will be caught out of bed in the night, perhaps making a mess in the kitchen looking for a snack. A secure crib could be an appropriate solution for his wandering and a bottle would satisfy his midnight snacking. Also with the upcoming trip to Grannies, does Granny have a college student that boards in one of her many rooms? And does said college person/girl do babysitting for spare money?
  5. Wow, thanks for all the responses, I must have a notification setting turned off, otherwise I would have responded sooner. Thanks for all the feedback. I have since received my Duluth Trading Company Foreman's fire hose pants. They fit comfortably enough but the inseam is little bit long and I will probably purchase is shorter inseam next time. They stretch good and are comfortable and flexible. They do sufficiently muffle the crinkle, however they are also rather stretchy and form-fitting and give away some obvious bulges. But of course as we all know nobody is looking at your butt anyways so who cares.
  6. Hmm nobody? Well I think I'm going to spring for a pair, I'll be sure to tell y'all know what I think.
  7. I'm curious if anybody has ever tried Duluth Trading Company pants over their diaper. The commercial seem to indicate but there's plenty of room in the crotch. I thought that might be a good pant to try while on vacation this summer. I'm not the kind of person who wants to be flamboyant about my dealio, however I think it would be fun and exciting to be padded throughout my vacation. I'm a big guy so I probably be looking at a 40 to 42 inch waist. Any tips and advice would be swell thanks. Silverleaf
