They're called "leak guards" and sometimes "leg guards", they normally extend all the way from the back of the diaper core around the inside of the diaper core's narrowest part and up the front where they stop or fan out / fend out at the widest part of the core on the front. -

The pictures make it look ugly as sin. Even the new Fabine looks better.

Actually an SSD drive and a modern-ish graphics card would probably bring it inline with a modern high-spec machine. Probably a lot cheaper than selling this and getting another for the same performance level.
