  1. I recommend you try Protex's Big Baby vinyl pants.
  2. The recommendations from the others in the support site recommended a new thread. Yes there are several suggestions I intend to try. Ultimately, my hope was there was a cream or lotion a dermatologist could recommend that would be ideal for my circumstance without cutting out wine and cappuccino for dinner, increasing my water intake, cutting my hair, adding a hydrogen peroxide scrub to my morning bathing ritual and digesting Natures Way Chlorophyll tablets. However, until then I intend to try all of the above until I find a better solution and appreciate all additional recommendations.
  3. I use J&J Baby Cream which has been effective against diaper rash. Is there a preferred barrier cream recommended?
  4. For those that sleep in wet cloth diapers has anyone found after aggressively bathing you've been told there is still a lingering odor? If so, what skin care product or other solution have you tried to eliminate the issue? Thanks.
  5. Thank you all for the initial thoughts. As Baby Brian has reviewed my post in another discussion board I first use Wet ones wipes then shower with Dial for men odor control soap followed by scrubbing with Old Spice 16 hour body wash. After completely drying off I use Tena Wash cream which was supposed to kill any residual bacteria (or so I thought). My clothes are cleaned regularly and I do not wear the same ones each week. Zander, my skin is fine no UTI's or fungal infections. I expect despite aggressive bathing the pores of my skin retain the urea leading to a noticeable odor detected by my clients on frequent occasions. A few recommendations stand out so far, modify diet, increase water consumption and hair trimming. I was hoping the support team may have known of a way to reach a dermatologist on this site that could recommend a more effective odor eliminating skin product. I will try the other discussion boards.
  6. I am hoping to get input from a dermatologist regarding odor control after a night in wet cloth diapers despite an aggressive bathing process. I've tried the discussion board on this topic without success. Any thoughts on how to find a few recommendations. Thank you
  7. Thanks all for your thoughts. I still need a solution that has worked for others that need to work with clients following a night in wet diapers. There has to be a clinical recommendation a dermatologist could offer. If I thought it was safe I would try Febreeze (almost serious).
  8. To Kevindhca, Beyond the Chlorofresh, is there any specific morning bath products you've tried that have worked to eliminate the residual odor from a night in wet cloth diapers? Drybb1
  9. Not one post I've read in the forums has suggested a solution to mitigate the distinct odor after a night in wet cloth diapers and vinyl pants. I use wetones wipes to clean first, shower with Dial Mens Odor Control soap, followed up by Old Spice 16 hour Body Wash and then apply Tena wash cream. Despite what I would call an aggressive over cleaning ritual I have frequently been alerted there is a noticeable odor when I am close to other people during the day, especially morning. I am not shaved in the diaper area if that matters. Is there a dermatologist reading this blog that could offer a better solution?
