  1. Hello. I am LITH, I had to change my user name because of an issue. I wanted to follow up now that it has been over a year since this post. Things have continued to get worse. By learning what the sigmoid colon's function is has made my understanding my problem better. Of course I am still incontinent, messing more diapers than ever before. My IBS has not improved at all. So after a year+ of going 24/7 I realize this is how my life will be, and things could be much worse. I would rather wear diapers than have to wear a bag. I guess the moral to the story is try to keep your colon healthy and intact. Peace, C
  2. Hello. I used to use Tranquility ATN and was happy with them. I tried a sample of the Supreme and have to say it is the best diaper I have used. I have just ordered my third case of them. I am double incontinent and haven't had any issues with overflow or leakage. I wear them 24/7 and find them very comfortable. I have to use the plastic backed diaper for my bowel incontinence and find them somewhat noisy. They do quiet down a bit after they warm up so it really isn't a big deal. Overall great job. Peace C
  3. I understand. I am on medication for depression, stress and anxiety. My problem is IBS and a colon that is more like a semi colon Peace, C
  4. Although I find wearing diapers to be a bit of a problem, life without them is unthinkable. I don't even remember the last time I was not in a diaper. Being totally incontinent leaves few options. I try to make the best of my situation. One thing I do like is changing into a fresh diaper. I just hope to be able to keep it that way for a while, although I am sure my body has other ideas. I have to make the best of this situation. One other thing that is advantageous is never having to use a public restroom any more. Anyone else feel the same way. Peace C
  5. I had diverticulitis and had to have that part of my colon removed.
  6. I have tried elimination diets that haven't helped. I had a sigmoidoscopy 6 years ago. One and a half feet of colon, or storage space, is gone. This has exasperated the problem I'm sure.
  7. Yes it is. Oh well c'est la vie. I don't enjoy wearing diapers but it is a necessity.
  8. Hello all, Happy holidays. It's been a while since I have posted. I had a colonoscopy to try and figure out why I am having incontinence. Of course everything, with the exception of a few pre cancerous polyps, looked fine. The Dr. gave me another RX which doesn't help at all. So I have given up on the medical front. I have been wearing diapers for over a year now and will probably have to do so for the rest of my life. It's not that big a deal really, except for the stigma associated with wearing diapers. I have only told my wife and mother about it. I still keep it secret from everyone else. It has affected my social life but not to a great degree. Sorry for the rant but I have to share with someone. Thanks for letting me "talk" to understanding folks like you. Peace to you all. C P.S. Tranquility ATN with the occasional booster is what I use. You can get a case of 96 for $66 at Amazon.com. I highly recommend them for their comfort and protection and the price..
  9. You are correct LITH and Cherb are both me. I had problems with my login. Thanks darkravendl.
  10. Hey all, I haven't posted in a while. It's been a terrible summer. My incontinence has gotten worse since last posting. I am now urinary incontinent because I have to wear a diaper 24/7, it is too expensive to remove and change ever time. So here I am. This is no fun, not that it ever was. I appreciate all the support and empathy. Having this problem can get a bit lonesome. Peace, C
