  1. Keep taking Nullo or any internal deodorizer. After you lose all control there will be times when you won’t want any odors. Nullo will help you with that. Be respectful of those around you is the attitude you need to have.
  2. What features would it have? If I could I would make it so all liquid would wick evenly through the entire padded area. It would have a larger containment area at the bottom for BM's. The leg area could be cinched so there would never be any leaks. Tapes once applied would never come loose and about 6" long. The waist area would be able to be cinched tight also. They would be able to withstand 12 full hours of use. Any further ideas?
  3. There are many that enjoy wearing, then there are those of us that use diapers 24/7 for both all the time. I am one of those and have no regrets doing so. Not a day goes by where I find it to be cumbersome. As for purging I find that it makes no sense. Why give up something that's part of you only to restart sometime in the future? You know you'll be back and you'll regret that you quit. There is something in our DNA that forces us to do this and it cannot be changed so as long as you are not harming yourself or others then don't quit for your own feelings of being complete. I've never wanted to analyze it either. It's too deep rooted to try.
  4. Don't give up. It will happen. Just keep telling yourself that using a diaper is the right thing to do. At some point you'll lose control and only know it's happening after it's started. I'm sure you are well on your way by now.
  5. You need to get past that and not worry about what strangers think.
  6. Well don't push.. Take a walk and you will empty yourself naturally. Everything should fall to the bottom, or what I call the containment area, and you can go about your business until you decide to change.
  7. I change at particular times in a 24 hour period rather by a BM. So more often than not there is something there as I have BM's (usually small) several times in a 24 hour period. I just got used to it so during the coarse of the day & night I don't give it much thought.
  8. If they are dangerous it’s too late for me because I cannot be without them. Therefore I’m not going to worry about it..
  9. It's perfectly fine to do it in public as long as you do not offend others. Using some type of internal deodorant is the key.
  10. The question was if we feel shame. My answer is a resounding no. Wrapping your head around it in the beginning can be hard but after you learn to properly manage it, it becomes simple.
  11. I’m so glad I’ve never experienced the purge cycles. It sounds conflicting and stressful. From the moment I started messing I’ve never turned back. I’ve never questioned it and focused my attention to managing it. It would cause me too much stress to ever change it so I don’t.
  12. Urinary incontinence followed by bowel incontinence now defines who I am and am not willing to change it. So no I would change anything. Besides giving up something I really enjoy doesn’t make sense to me
  13. You can take comfort in knowing that, while not yet automatic, you'll not be able to reverse it. You've conditioned yourself after 4 months to being fully incontinent. It's not a fetish nor is it fun anymore. It's now just something you must do now. It's who you are now. Now you just learn how to manage yourself in all situations. What to have with you, what to eat and where changing facilities are at all times. Soon you will find yourself going more often in smaller amounts and giving it much less thought when you do. Then eventually the automatic reflex kicks in and you'll only know you are dropping a load after it's started and far too late to even consider doing anything about it.
  14. Then you understand that automatic reflex. To me it doesn't get much better. And yes you need to learn how to handle in in any situation. It's easy these days...
  15. First thing is to get a new bed. Then start wearing a diaper with a booster with a good PUL covering. Lastly throw that book away and have a good nights rest. Losing control will take care of itself
  16. In my mind it's not a fetish at all. It was something I needed to do. Therefore if there was some kind of "cure" I would never entertain the notion.
  17. It will. Just never ever help it along. Let your body & not your mind dictate it. Prepare for this to be lifelong. I'm well over 5 years bowel incontinent with zero control over it. I've no regrets and have zero idea how I would ever reverse it.
  18. Number 5 was never a issue with me. But I would agree with all the others. I would also stress number 4. Never ever hold back when you need to poo. Also don't sit down or bend over. Stand up and carry on as if it's just a normal thing happening. Over time it will always happen that way and while you feel it happening there will be nothing you can do to stop it.
  19. After I learned the management aspect of it I find that it's no longer a problem for me. It takes no real time out of my day to do the clean up & changing. It's just something that needs to be done and I don't mind it.
  20. How long has it been for you being incontinent?
  21. There are some things a person cannot change so in many ways it's best to turn lemons into lemonade. I hope at some point you'll be able to do that.
  22. I’ve never experienced doubt as I always knew it was the right thing to do. I’ve had only a few rashes many years ago due to poor management. Again all a learning process. Just keep telling yourself it’s ok and something you must do. In time it becomes automatic.
  23. North Shore and the rest don’t want to go thru insurance because they would have to reduce their price! There is the real reason!
  24. In the beginning I constantly had to reassure myself that what I was doing was right. Then I learned when the feeling came I wouldn’t ever hesitate & I didn’t. No matter where or when. That just became easier & easier. Over time it just started happening on its own.
  25. Urinary incontinent for over 10 years now due to accident the decided to be bowel incontinent over 5 years ago. Now I’ve not control over either. Somehow I’ve been able to turn the trigger off on bowels and it just happens. I’ve never had any desire to reverse it. You are well on your way. Over time you’ll find that you’ll drop much more often in smaller quantities over a 24 hour period. (That’s what happened to me) and generally with timed changes there is always something there. But it’s easy to manage. Night time I use 1 highback covering with a bloomer style covering to insure no bed mess. The use of Nullo is necessary for odor. I’m sure you are now finding these things out by now
