  1. I am so stoked on Android, and disappointed in HP. Seen them screw up too many good acquisitions... I would love to have a touchpad keyboard for my Galaxy though. Sent from my Desire HD
  2. Used to wear these, and for being underwear style, they are certainly the best fitting. I rated thirst as better than any other, but not up to a Molicare Super, or Abena M3. They suffer from the same design issues as any underwear style do- you have to take off your shoes & pants to change them.
  3. There is a bug in this. Forums that have subforums will show no posts. Example- the incontinence forum shows no posts. But the desires subforum shows posts. Hmmm, any way to fix that? Sent from my Desire HD
  4. Most excellent!! Thank you so much. My favorite forum browser on Android.
  5. Having had this done before, let me give you some valuable advice. Buy some really good nappy cream- the white stuff with lots of zinc in it. Smear it all over your bum right after you drink that "jet fuel". The diarrhea you will have for the nest 6-8 hours will be explosive- and very acidic. This will help protect you from the stomach acids that would leave your bum very inflamed. Oh yes- reapply after every trip to the loo.
  6. I can't imagine the structural damage my weight could do on a doorway. But then, the springs would probably pop first.
  7. I vote for Universal. Disneyworld is a ripoff IMO. It is so split up compared to Disneyland that you end up paying twice as much to see the same things. That really pissed me off. Their rental wheelchairs were in awful condition and Universal treated me much better in a chair as well. Disney had little in the way of access aids for me, but Universal had notes about the wheelchair access for each ride. Disney's attitude was "tough spit, get in line like everyone else" as my chair crept backwards down the hill... bastids. BTW, I live on the Left Coast, and have been to DisneyLAND many times, and each time was a pleasant experience- with crutches, chair or walking.
  8. Eight years now? Wow. I've had similar issues for the past year on and off, and my backside gets so sore when this flares up. I keep switching out different kinds of diaper creams until it goes away. Next time, it might be a different cream that does the trick. Or something else entirely. Lets us know what you find out. BTW- I could not live without my caffeine. It takes two pots to get my heart started in the morning.
  9. Ditto- laptop bag at the office. Backpack when doing the airline thing.
  10. I would second that. Tapatalk is a great forum browser!
  11. The zen of plastic pants can best be explained with Haiku: Wet cloth leaks show through I get embarrassed with that Plastic pants are great
  12. I need an XL pair to replace the ones my cat shredded while marching on my lap.
  13. I had been on Flouxetine (depression) for a year when the side effects kicked in. I could no longer "rise to the occasion" for my wife, and when I did, I could maintain. Very frustrating and embarrassing. Switched to Effexor and now doing much better. When I get depressed, I get angry and nobody can take my sudden outbursts of temper. I will be on this the rest of my life, and I'm OK with that. I take a minimal dose, which varies according to the season- more in winter, less in summer. Recently I upped my dose (back to winter levels) because of the pressures of being unemployed for 6 months. I have one odd side effect from Effexor- whenever I change dose I become incontinent for a few months. I feel it is a small price to pay for the sanity and safety of my family. I recently switched from brand name ($166.00 per month) to generic form ($24.86) and I have not seen any difference in my mood. Although the sudden bouts of diarrhea that often accompanied my switching dosage is almost non-existent this time.
  14. I would suggest you forget the local stores and just go to the internet. XP Medical is a great resource for disposables. Fast, courteous, competitive pricing and discrete shipping. For cloth, try fetware.com, baby-pants.com, angelfluff.com or adultclothdiaper.com. Yes, the names of these places can be a bit odd, but the products are great. You will find many choices in colors & patterns in case you are feeling festive. I wold suggest a phone call- they can be very helpful witrh first time buyers and will make certain you get the right size and amounts of everything.
  15. Exactly why I wear when sailing. (also OAB and urge incon) Much better to just sit in the cockpit and enjoy the day. Oh yeah- works well when doing mini-golf with the kids too. It was too far to run to the bathroom yesterday, and their patience would not have permitted it...
  16. Commute traffic. Airplanes. My wood shop. Sailing singlehanded. Shopping with my sweety. Concerts.
  17. Indeed. Let's start with equal taxation- we are the only country who does NOT tax corporations ("job creators" if you are TP) and if those corporations don't like it, they can leave. No other country will give them such a tax break, while protecting their assets with armed forces and their IP with an antiquated patent system. The entitlement system for corporations is just way wrong IMO. Then we should halt all military contracts to companies who have left the US. Yes, that includes Haliburton. Speaking of military, lets bring our boys to home. The GOP's method of improving the economy by taking all those employees out of the job pool and shipping them off to be killed in a country we can't even pronounce is crap. If the Muslims don't want us in their world- LEAVE. Let them kill each other- it is their right. Get our boys and girls outta there, and stop wasting all that money. Did you know that with the money Bush spent on two middle east wars we could have sent an entire generation of US kids to college? If you really want to return to a government of the people, get rid of lobbyists. All of them- Detroit, Microsoft, Big Oil, Big Medicine and yes, the NRA as well. Now I know that will never happen- they have more attorneys at their disposal than you could imagine. So instead, let's just limit their spending to the discretionary income of the average American household. That would put us all on a level playing field, and insure true "freedom of speech". Yes, the status of the US has declined in the world over the last 20 years, and it continues to fall at an ever increasing rate. China owns our finances, African churches are sending missionaries here, and Korea has exploded in manufacturing excellence. What influence do we have left in the world? The only thing left for us now is our military presence, and we are going broke trying to keep that running. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
  18. Agreed- well said Christine. One line reviews are tolerable for disposables, but I would really like to know more before I order recyclables. How well did it fit you and what is your body type? How does it feel? Is the cut OK? Does it wash easily and how does it change after regular laundry cycles? Any wash or dry warnings in the package? Any you have learned the hard way? Smooth or rough? rigid or soft? How are the snaps or velcro? Photos are a great thing here- folded out on a table, and being worn. Given the state of the economy, few of us have extra money to burn. More information is great, and we should receive extra brownie points for posting more informative reviews. Cheers, (no longer) new2inc
  19. Call XP Medical ahead of time. I had (accidentally) delayed my last order by a few days, knowing the shipment would arrive quickly from their CA warehouse. It will now arrive 3 days later because the CA warehouse was out, and they had to come from back east somewhere.
  20. My PCP talked to me about a number of different drugs, suggesting that I try anything beside my diapers. Nice guy, still a personal friend, but I wanted a second opinion. The urologist said I had prostate issues, and a simple out patient procedure would fix it. His take on the meds was quite lengthy- each one had a different set of side effects and a very low probability of actually working... He agreed that other than surgery, the side effects of diapers was the lowest. Oh yeah- I had the surgery. Painful till I recovered, but it helped. Not a complete cure though, as the side effects of my anti-depressants still give me incon issues at times.
  21. I have used the AbriFlex, and I find them to be the most comfortable of the pull-up style products. I would highly recommend them, as they are very comfortable, and fairly absorbent. Absorbency-wise they are about the same as the Tranquility Overnight. One other solution you should consider is the Abri-Let pads. In the big sizes, they have leak guards and as much or more absorbency than what you have been getting with pull-ups. They fit into your underwear, so no tearing happens.
  22. I sleep on planes almost weekly. Sometimes the trips are too short or I have too much writing to do, but quite often I use that time to catch up on sleep. When I have too many worries about leaking, I know it's time to upgrade what I wear.
  23. I wear for my IC, but it also brings a source of comfort to me. My IC comes and goes (as does my arthritis/mobility issues), so I don't always need to wear, but I do feel more at ease when I am wearing. Kind of a love-hate thing actually; as I hate having to carry around all that paraphernalia, but I can't deny the emotional comfort. Rather like the comfort I get from wearing a seatbelt.
  24. I cannot imagine *why* anyone would want to induce a diaper rash. To me, they are far from comfortable.
