  1. We chose our property 35 years ago. It's on the top of a small sloped hill that will not be prone to land slides. We have a great salt water view, but are 300 feet up, so tsunamis are not a concern. We have taken out all the large fir trees that could threaten our house in a wind storm. Everyone has to deal with different threats. Hurricanes, tornadoes & earthquakes are not an issue where we live. We do have to deal with landslides, floods, & tsunamis.
  2. I've been using a CPAP for years, and while it does help me sleep better, lately it has been more of a noisy annoyance. I'm wondering if a binky would help me stop snoring so that the Mrs & I could sleep better.
  3. I don't know why this hasn't been brought up yet here. You can drink your piss, and take a large dose of horse dewormer. It will protect you from the Fauci ouchy. I read it on the interwebs so it must be true.
  4. I found that flannel lined demin jeans work very well, especially in the winter. They keep me warmer, hide the bulky bits, and when your diaper leaks it won't show on the outside.
  5. Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued Fall Out Boy
  6. I have been having problems with loose stools for several years now. I finally told my doctor last year, and he said that can be a fairly normal part of aging. His suggestion was that I take a 1/2 tab of Imodium every day. It has made my poops solid enough that I can now get to a toilet on time. Before, it was often hit or miss, but sicne I wore diapers anyhow, it wasn't as big an issue.
  7. I agree with you Brian. I am so bent at the bastids in our govt health care who feel that the best solution is always the cheapest. It messes with my serenity. That said, back to the original topic. That looks to me like somebody made bloomer style panties out of a real thin neoprene. (diving suit material) I see nothing "new & improved" about those.
  8. I'm trying out some cloth diapers that are actually more like pullups. I'm trying out SuperUndies, and I'm still getting the size right. More on those once I feel I've given them a fair shake. I know of others here who use pocket diapers which also fit into that category.
  9. I stopped using Chrome and now I use Firefox almost exclusively. Firefox has a sandbox that keeps Facebook from seeing any of my web visits.

  11. Threaded Armor Protective Brief, damp
  12. Also, the Nighttime Undies sat in my bucket for a few days before washing, and they came out of the wash smelling very nasty. I had rinsed out the tongue-shaped insert section, but not the whole inner layer. That is what turned it stinky. I will have to wash again, this time with some vinegar.
  13. I could never become "an diaper lover", because that is just bad English. Not sure if that would help my serenity, as I already appreciate diapers for their usefulness.
  14. I've bought a pair of the Nighttime Undies and a pair of the Protective Briefs, both in XL. While the Nighttime Undies are VERY comfortable, they do feel a bit big to me. They are also not as absorbent as I would like. The Protective Brief has lots more absorbency to it, but it is bigger yet, and will not only slide down under the weight of a little pee, but the leg openings are too big and they leak long before they have reached capacity. Time to go down a size and try that. After many years of cotton cloth diapers, it feels a little odd to be wearing synthetic fabric in my wet zone. I have to admit it is comfortable. FWIW, I have a 38 inch waist, and 26 inch thighs.
  15. For me, it's jeans, always. During the winter I will wear flannel lined "insulated" jeans. They are much warmer for when I have to go outside. As a side benefit, when my diaper leaks, the flannel seems to absorb it first and I have to be REALLY wet for it to show through. That has given me enough time to discretely change my diaper, usually.
  16. My wife & I have come to terms with my IC, so she knows that it's a required item, and not optional. But diapers are not my identity, so I will not be cremated in a diaper when I go. That's my story.
  17. We get along much better, now that they are gone.
